Unfortunately, Peter Obi will take a huge fraction of PDP supposed votes and there's nothing Tonye can do about it.

They have not even started. Very soon APC & PDP will form alliance because they share the same father with different mother. grin

It isn't really about Obi but a movement to change the voting order that have so long be controlled by a few "godfathers". The politicians feel relaxed because they so much believe their winning based on godfather anointing. With Obi winning based on the people support, he would be more accountable to the people than a few old men. 2. Other politicians with a goodwill will be encouraged to maintain good performance.

All this and more are applicable when you're in a functional society, an employment is simply a contract of render a service & get paid. They know the heaven won't fall if they decide not to pay you at the end of the month. It is just sadly a symptom of a failed system. Not to mention the limited job opportunities. So the employers naturally believe they are doing you a favour because one million and one person are praying to replace you at the slightest chance.

Learn what?! Those officers are on target and the remittance gets to the highest level. This one was just too careless, you can't really blame him either because he knows why he was so confident. The truth is nothing would have happened to him if not that it went viral. The entire police needs to be restructured starting from the recruitment process, personnel training & reorientation, proper funding & decent welfare package.

2. How come this idea wasn't suggested to the incumbent who he has unlimited access to? Of course he can't force the GCFR, so he had to play to the gallery because of his ambition over the citizen's safety and welfare. This is even when one decides to ignore physical alertness which is equally very important to effective functioning as a human.

An old Ancelotti sits right there on the battle filed analysing and taking strategic decisions while actively watching to see the improvement. That alone requires effort, mental & physical capacity. To fix a complex & failing state. More is needed than your listed qualities. Of course physical alertness for running around is very important. You can't sit in Abuja and expect magic going on around the country. There is a need for on the ground assessment especially with the type of the so called "federalism" been practiced. Secondly, you will be required to personally sit long hours vetting documents before endorsing it, etc. There is a reason civil servants are compulsory retired at 60 years of age. I will vote BAT of 10 to 15 years ago. Not now with the obvious physical level of activeness. That will mean repeating the same mistake with Buhari. This is my personal view.

Well, every good persons want that but those currently benefiting from the bad system won't want that to happen. Hence they will continue to frustrate any process to change the order, thereby creating more poverty & weakening the system. With just #500 they can easily mobilize millions of poor people to keep supporting them. I.e. Bishop saga, etc. The education system is also deliberately destroyed for a reason. Nigeria can never get bitter at least not within the next 100 years.
