henribj: your case is different, your new stock is already enroute i have no new stock coming in, its easier for me to go on a break besides if i should order any new stocks as of now, at what rate do i sell it when it comes in? Nigerians are not willing to spend frivolously as of now, especially as no one knows the outcome after election for now, i rather keep my fingers crossed and watch things unfold i will face my other business and leave the one of buying & selling for now Already enroute ke? Anyway, give or take we are speculating that Naira should stabilize against dollar. Mind you dollar too is raising in value against other world currencies so waiting for Naira to increase is not a short term goal. It is a long term process sha. Waiting to see the Naira exchage rate to dollar after the election. |

henribj: thank you also i really appreciate all your assistance and information shared with us as for selling, i will be putting my store on vacation/offline mode soon as i get the remaining few stocks sold will be back whenever USD & NAIRA settle them matter. You are welcome sir. You can source cheaper because suspending your store because of Naira losing value will probably hurt your business. I also wanna suspend but new stock are already in enroute because business must grow. Thanks |

henribj: oh ok. uhm i am a konga.com marketplace seller and would not know much about how their kexpress service works in terms of payments. but what i can say is that kxpress is a courier service just like dhl, ups, fedex & co. i have this belief that kexpress is actually owned by konga.com but i don't know how true it is. that being said, i doubt if anyone here would know much about kexpress and its procedures. but you should try and create a post about it, who knows, there might just be someone who knows something about it, just the same way my creating a post here was able to help me meet wonderful people who gave me beautiful ideas that helped my case positively. oh and also, konga.com and its staffs also troll NL(just so you know). Konga owns K-Express (Konga Express Delivery) I believe because of the diverfisication and the recent moves to give merchants/sellers more control on the mall they are inviting people to come help resolve their logistics issues. Logistics/Shipping/Delivery is a major part of building a great customers experience online. One of the major reason people don't buy online is because of delayed delivery. In between, how far with your goods? have they credit or return your goods? |

phumtadeic: Hello all,
I am not here to discredit anyone or any company because I am also in business but I have to say it has it is that st Patrick Logistics is a very irresponsible company.
Ms Wang of St Patrick Logistics received my package in China on the 6th of feb. 2015 I told her to ship to Lagos, Nigeria with Normal shipping & she promised to do so on the 9th or 10th before they went on holiday.
My people, up till this morning that I am writing this post I am yet to receive my package. Everytime I call favour (the company's representative in Nigeria) it is a new story everyday....... I also chatted with her boss on whatsapp last week Saturday it is also all stories....
I have been cool with them but deep down I am very angry.... Maybe you should contact yemi2plus. I have the same challenge during the NAHCO bruhaha and my product was delayed for 2 month. After deep investigation with the help of yemi2plus, I discovered that St. Patrick Logistic actually shipped my products but was hanging at Nigeria port awaiting clearing beacuse of the NAHCO strike. I missed the December sales not because St. Patrick didn't shipped my goods but because they couldn't clear it at Nigeria port. Yemi2Plus will actually help you find the missing link, if you are not getting it from Ms. Wang and Favour. That was my first time experience with them and believe me, I will be using them again in my upcoming shippment because people like yemi2plus is here to help and always a call, chat or ping away. Thanks |

Start a Facebook page, do facebook ads for "Shop Now" and "Page Likes" target your market. henribj: And how long did your case last last before they credited your account? To be frank, I really do not track until I got the alert. 2 happens when they move from sellerhq to shq server. The other 2 happen during the December when they are closing their books for the year. Some orders have been pending delivery for a while but like 2/3 month sha. However, I believe you should take control of your store before they finally give you control in 3 weeks with the changing coming on the platform. We deliver our Lagos order ourselves and let Konga handle delivery outside Lagos. Regards |

debbydee: can you please enlighten me. secondly why did you stop using it. Jumia is a bit complicated compared to Konga. Jumia do not have drop-off center, you have to take your orders to their office in Adeniyi Jones for onward delivery to customer. But if you get someone to explained the details involved, you will understand it but mind you the process is long and they charged high commission. I have processed just 2 orders on their platform compared to several hundreds on Konga. |

Business › Re: Konga and their delayed payment issues by iMerchant: 6:39pm On Mar 02, 2015 |
henribj: Hi everyone, i would like to know if anyone else has experienced this situation below with konga.com . I am a marketplace seller on the konga nigeria website, last year November i received an order on the konga website from a customer, i accepted the order, packaged the item, took it to the konga drop off location around me and dropped it off there, after which i was given a confirmation receipt/waybill . I tracked the item to monitor its progress and for 2-3 weeks this item was not delivered, i contacted the buyer to confirm if maybe she had received the item and konga failed to update it, and she informed me she had not received the item yet. I then contacted Konga regarding this matter and Konga kept on telling me stories of how they are looking into it blah blah blah, along the line they admitted the item has been misplaced and i would be compensated with the total amount of the item they misplaced. Since November till date i have not received 1naira compensation from Konga. Anytime i contact them about it they will tell me stories of how they have shifted the issue to the payment department for them to effect the release of the payment for the lost item to me, it has gotten to a point they no longer reply my emails or get in touch with me. It is painful that a whole store/marketplace as big as Konga should stoop so low as to be involved in this type of hanky panky business. And i wonder if i am the only one who has experienced this same type of treatment from Konga, or if there are people out there who have also experienced this same treatment. Oh Dear, I feel your anger. I believe there are better ways of correcting a wrong instead of calling the marketplace a scam? I have been selling on konga for over 8 months and believe me they have their moments. What is the status of the order on your SellerHQ dashboard? Have you called your Merchant Account Manager or Officer? I believe you can escalate the issue to the VP Marketplace and Co-VP Marketplace. I want to believe you have their details from the newsletter sent on Jan. 5th. Regards |

So I tried again, it showed me the same message. I closed my browser and reloaded the page only to see that the payment was being verified. My bank sent me two alerts. Apparently I paid twice for the same product and my money was deducted. Please what do I do? If your bank debit you twice for the transaction. What you need do is visit the nearest branch to dispute the payment. (Dispense Error Claim) |
