SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Congo: Player Rating by Imoobot(m): 8:27pm On Sep 06, 2014
Jarus: A better-forgotten game for the Super Eagles. A very commendable display by the Congolese.

On an evening, I expected a whitewash from the Eagles, here we go again.

Anyway, player rating:

Ejide: A bad game. No composure. Didn't look like a professional. He could have done better in the second goal. Only one good save. 3/10

Echiejile : His wing was exploited by the speedy Congolese. Poor overlapping. 3/10

Ambrose: Good goal. But fizzled out thereafter. Didn't see much of his traditional cut-and-cross. 4/10

Oboabona: Poor game. Beginning to make me ask questions whether we have not overrated him. Beaten easily by the Congolese attack. Gave away possession for the second goal 2/10

Omeruo : Well, well, poor game. Didn't do much to stop the rampaging Congolese attack. Maybe better than his defence partner 3/10

Onazi: Was livelier in the midfield than Mikel, but poor judgment that resulted in penalty. Tried in the defensive midfield, but below what we expected still 4/10

Azeez: Also a little lively in the midfield in the first half, but couldn't get grip of the midfield before he fizzled out 3/10

Mikel: On a day you would have expected this Chelsea to show his class and experience against the minnows that these Congolese are (yes, the are minnows), this guy still couldn't do anything extra-ordinary. No through pass. No initiation of attack. Even Onazi and Azeez were more visible. 2/10

Oduamadi: Anonymous in the first half. Not a threat to the Congolese defenders. Save for a through pass to Nwofor which he couldn't convert, he didn't do anything up front. 3/10

Musa: Looked the most dangerous up front in the first half. Nice cross that resulted in first goal. He should have done better as the most experienced of our attack in the first half. 5/10

Nwofor: Handed the top striking role in the first half but didn't deliver. He was like a pedestrian on the field for the most part. A through pass from Oduamadi that he should have converted was also wasted. 2/10

SUBS

Nosa: Created more chances up front than Azeez but his miss was unforgivable. 3/10

Emenike: Thrown in when Eagles needed goals desperately. Didn't score. Created chances towards the tail end though. 4/10

Salami: The Balotelli of Nigerian Premier League was also thrown on board when SE desperately needed a goal. Managed to put in consolatory goal. Not much was seen of him. 5/10

Keshi: No comment 2/10

ALL CONGOLESE PLAYERS: Great game. 9/10

LEROY: Embarrassing Nigeria since 1988: 10/10

LAST BULLET: You win some, you lose some. I'm not so embittered. In any case, SE's usual wives, Bafana Bafana, go hear wien on Wednesday

An Igbo man mistakenly sent 2million Naira to a wrong phone number via Mobile Money. He realized that before the person would withdraw the whole money, he had to think of what to do if he was to get his money back. To the person's phone number, he immediately sent a text:

"Hello Dark and Worthy Initiate, I hope you are okay. I believe you’ve received the money I sent you for the initiation ceremony into Eternal Mystical Order Of Glorious Satanism in the Ancient Ogboni Fraternity, scheduled to happen at 12midnight tomorrow. That money is only for transport. You shall receive more for pocket money and there are riches awaiting you. 2 weeks after the initiation, the family member closest to you will die under mysterious circumstances and
this death will unlock your ticket to wealth, ability to fly at night and change into all kinds of animals to deliver your various assignments. Remember, you can buy your own syringe and needle meant to draw your blood before you enter the temple. Please don’t be late because the Viceroy of Satan himself will be present to officiate the ceremony. Thanks in advance. But in case you are not ready to join yet, please send back the money otherwise you will die in the next 24hrs".
3 Minutes later, he got a Mobile Money message: 'You have received 2million Naira in your mobile money...

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Stanbic IBTC Bank Graduate Trainee Programme 2014 by Imoobot(m): 9:24am On Aug 05, 2014
Should age actually be a factor in employment sector?

My opinion: To me age is just a number, it's can't characterized individuals personality because the original person is embedded inside hence, age shouldn't be a factor for employment.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Should Age Be A Factor In Employments Sector? by Imoobot(op): 4:56pm On Jul 29, 2014
MaziOmenuko: I observe that age is always a factor when it comes to positions of Graduate Trainee. Most companies expect a fresh graduate to be of a certain age limit.
But when it comes to specialized areas that require skills, age is not always a primary factor.
Eg, when a company needs an accountant who is ICAN certified, a well engineer with experience, a welder (pipeline welding), etc. What is normally needed is years of experience and not necessarily age.
You have a point though I will not agree with you 100%. What do you think about those establishments that stream lined age limits say 24, with a particular qualification. And what happen to those with similar qualification but falls outside the age bracket?
Jobs/VacanciesShould Age Be A Factor In Employments Sector? by Imoobot(op): 12:30pm On Jul 29, 2014
In most establishments today especially the banking sector, the issue of age discrimination is a major restraints/limitations to so many unemployed graduates.
A typical example is a graduate who finished school many years ago and are yet to secure a job.

My question is, do you think age should actually be a factor in considering who to employ?

My opinion: To me age is just a number, it's can't characterized individuals personality because the original person is embedded inside hence, age shouldn't be a factor for employment

Lets hear your view.

Jokes Etc1,000 And 10 Naira Note; The Jouney So Far by Imoobot(op): 12:33pm On Jul 24, 2014
A well-worn N1000 note and a similarly distressed N10 note arrived at the Central Bank to be retired. As they moved along the conveyor belt to be burnt, they struck up a conversation. The one thousand naira reminisced about its travels all over the country:
"I've had a pretty good life" the one thousand naira proclaimed. "I have been to Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Kano, and Abuja. The finest restaurants in Victoria Island, Kaduna, Abuja and Eastern Nigeria. Performances at Muson Centre and Glover Hall, the hottest nite clubs all over the country and even a cruise on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans."

"WOW!" said the ten naira. "You've really had an exciting life!"
"So tell me, says the N1,000 note, "where have you been throughout your life time?"
The N10 note replies: "Oh, I've been to the ECWA Churches, Apostolic and Methodist Churches, the Redeemed Christian Church, the Deeper Life Bible church, Baptist Church, the C & S Church, CCC, the Lutheran Church, St Peter Catholic Church, etc."

The N1,000 note interrupts: "What is a church?"
"It's a place where believers in Jesus Christ gather to worship God in spirit and in truth", replied the ten naira note.
"My masters never took me to Church" lamented the N1,000 naira note.
So, please, please and please, take 1,000 naira notes to Church. They want to know Jesus too.

If husbands were half as nice to their wives, the same manner they were when they first met their wives, the rate of divorce and marital higi-haga would have been reduced to the barest minimum.

Also, if wives were half as nice to their husbands, the same manner they were, when they were trying to get the man to propose to them, then most men would NOT have any business cheating on their wives!!!

I rise!!
