All but three of the six people being treated for the coronavirus in Akwa Ibom have been discharged from hospital, Health Commissioner Dr Dominic Ukpong has said.

Akwa Ibom recorded 5 cases of the disease on April 1 and a new case was confirmed on Tuesday, totaling six.

Three cases out of the initial 5 have been discharged after testing negative for the disease.
