PoliticsRe: JTF Kill Top Boko-Haram Commander by imotondo(op): 10:58am On Apr 27, 2013
obongproff: THAT IS NOT THE BEST SOLUTION FOR BOKO HARAM. YOU HAVE TO GET THE SPONSOR BEFORE YOU CAN FULLY STOP...COS BOTH THE SO-CALLED COMMANDAS OR SOLDIERS ARE JUST PAWNS. YOU DON'T WIN THE GAME THE GAME OF CHESS MERELY BY KILLING ONLY THE PAWNS. WHAT ABOUT THE KING, THE QUEEN, THE BISHOP AND THE KNIGHTS? THE PAWNS CAN BE EASILY REPLACED, BUT THE LEADERS - NO!

CONGRATULATIONS ANY WAY. BUT PLS YOU GUYS HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO.
ehmm u have a point there but since we are meant to undastand that the sponsors(quenes/Kings) are untouchable,@least;let the JTF continually reduce th number of their footsoldiers thereby reducing the rate @which people join them(installing fear in them and their sympathisers through the killings)...i believe with time the sponsors will be short of followers and that should bring them down, especially when the Boko boys that will b caught starts speaking out.Again there should be a kind of special guards/prisons for them so that they wont escape.
My opinion though.

i agree with u;just that there are always many casualties in hunt against the deadly group.I pray JTF will be more professional while discharging their duties so as to curb that.Nigeria will be there soon.

JTF Kill Top Bokoharam Commander

BY NDAHI MARAMA, MAIDUGURI

Mohammed Chad, a top Boko Haram Commander and an indigene of Marte Local Government Area of Borno State who has been on the wanted list of the Joint Task Force (JTF) has been killed in a shootout with JTF and men of the SSS at Ruwan Zafi of Maiduguri Metropolis in Borno.

The JTF Spokesman Leuitenant Colonel Sagir Musa in Maiduguri last night said, a special operation was conducted at Ruwan – Zafi area of Maiduguri metropolis by troops of the JTF Operation RESTORE ORDER and operatives of the department of State Security Service (SSS) at about 3:00 am on Friday 26 April, 2013 “led to the death of a notorious Boko Haram terrorist a.k.a Mohammed Chad, an indigene of Marte, Borno State that has been on the wanted list of the JTF”.

He added that intelligence indicated that he was involved in the planning/execution of many terror attacks in and outside Borno State. For instance, he masterminded the attack on Sanda Kyarimi Secondary Schools located at Ruwan Zafi, where they killed a teacher and injured 3 female students on 18 March 13.

Sagir however stated that the suspect is believed to be the successor to Ba,ana Assalafi a key Boko Haram Commander that lost his life during a shoot out with security agencies in Sokoto on 13 March 2013.

eko ilee: Nothing of such thing gets fixed overnight, but it is possible over time with honest and sincere efforts which gej is yet to show nigerians and instead he's heading the other way and even encouraging it by sounding himself with corrupt people and pardoning ex convicts and international fugitive. It is on record that this is the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria.

Obviously, you either don't know the meaning of hypocrisy or you just misused it.

Am imagining how we'l cope if the graduates of this country embark on their own quest for amnesty, seriously, that will b the final straw for Nigeria.i mean,if agberos and touts can organise this kinda thing and still get the govt. To bow to it,hw will it be like if exposed graduates should form their own(knowing that their own will be more precise and calculative than that of the touts)since it now pays to be a criminal ....just ma thoughts sha

An attempt on his life is not acceptable but Mr Dino should look for a better way to ask Nigerians to accept and forgive him instead of putting up this Rambo and Samuel L. Jackson's act.you want to be relevant again?, go to church and ask for forgiveness and also make it open on TV cos we ain't falling for that crap.

PoliticsRe: The African Economic Revolution by imotondo(m): 8:34am On Apr 02, 2013
shymexx: ^^^^^Uncle Gbawe, you have continued to disappoint me with some of your posts of late... Why should we use an already peaked and declining economy such as Europe as the blueprint for Nigeria?? To be honest, Europe(West) is hanging onto economic revolution today because that's the only area it has an advantage over the rest of the world... I don't need to remind you that Europe has little or no raw-materials/mineral-resources and there are no more colonies for it to loot like it did in the past - hence why it's hanging onto its last straw(economy) before it finally collapses??...

It's a new world and if Nigeria/Africa is going to make it in the scheme of things in the world - we have to follow the Chinese and Brazilian template... We need to start with an industrial revolution and develop a manufacturing base using our natural resources... Enough of selling our raw materials to the rest of the world in return for finished goods that we can easily manufacture in our own country... Thus, creating employments for the youths - and saving overhead costs...

Everything we're witnessing right now is just an economic bubble - and we need to get our acts together before it's too late..
the most sensible contribution ever.i believe this is the way forward,Nigeria and Africa as a whole should focus their energy on the little things they have, develop these things and become the best in those areas instead of trying to measure up with the westerners on the areas where they are already advanced. For us to rule the world,we must invest in research and development of our natural resources so as to come out with finished goods that is different from what the world already have.Nigeria will be great!

When i was in primary 2,our teacher taught us that salt is essencial for strong bones.on saturday night of that week,i told my siblings the story and saked them whether they dont want to be strong so as to beat all their mates and they accepted.i now pour the delicious bitterleaf soup we were served for dinnner together in a bowl, added 2cooking spoon full of salt to it and shared it amongst us....after some mins, they all left the dinning table and when mum noticed, she asked and found out what i did.she now sat down with me and asked me to finish the meal so i can be like hulk hogan and defend them and by then i was getting tired of the salty taste lol.no be small matter ooo coz i learnt ma lessons that day.

There r alot of em coz i was very cunning then.i flew kite till i was in SS1,used to tie the leaf of one flower like that near our house whenever i commit one of my numerous iniquities then and i won't be punished(learnt that 4frm a friend while u tell it that u don't want ur parents to remember whatever thing u did) and it worked.

Became addicted to sex since when i was 6........too bad, biting a girl's nipple in a fight for biting my ear in sch,did staircase things if u knw what i mean etc....

chax100: I did and I will again vote GEJ come 2015. You using 'Biko' and preaching against tribal, religeous and other sentiment shows how myopic you are. I believe you are not an Ibo man. No sensible Ibo man who is political carried will gettison GEJ comes 2015. My Eastern brothers have never had it better not until this GEJ regime. GEJ is the pride of modern political rebirth in Nigeria.
People are now conscious why the Ibos and christians, the churches were targets by political islamic extremists, BH and JAMBS. If BH and JAMBS claim to be fighting against bad government, why have they left the mosques out of their targets?
GEJ is not a clueless leader, against all odds he has being able to keep the machinery of governance running.
We must come out en-masse to say no to the religeous bigots coming in the name of APC.
Nigeria is not and will never be an 'Islamic Republic.'
Nigeria comprises Christians, Moslem and Africa Traditional System, who can sincerely live in Peace and Harmony.
G-E-J for 2015. God Bless Nigeria!

Trojavirus: The only institute that unites Nigerians is the military. The day that ethnicity gets into the military is the begining of Nigeria disintegration. Disintegrate the military and Nigeria will break easily.
it has been like that in the army because the other groups decided to keep mute about the injustice been done there.the truth is that it's late cause other groups just woke up to discover that Nigeria belongs to all and not to certain tribes who thinks its their right to do or get whatever they want.the army can't keep pretending they are cool with what has been going on.
