Please listen to my advice. I take God beg you, don't quit a 450k job because of ordinary 2million naira savings. I de beg you my sister o. Abeg don't do it. In Nigeria of today that has been bastardized by these politicians, 2 million naira is NOTHING, trust me. It won't go far, you need that steady income.

As a Nigerian, you can't tell me you don't have one poor Aunty/cousin/grandma sister that has a daughter. EVERY NIGERIAN, have a poor relative somewhere that you can take their teenage daughter to come and live with you so that she can help with the children. Not house girl o, a relative. Move house closer to your work, if possible. If your rent is not due in your current place, you can continue the journey for a while until your boss have mercy, if he doesn't, move closer to the new office.

Please I am begging you, don't quit your job. I don't earn that much but I have been able to achieve a lot cos of my regular job/earning by God's grace. I have done many businesses that failed in the past. Right now, I am building another business that will succeed, when it does, I will then leave my job to concentrate on the business but not before the business is strong enough. But suddenly quiting a job for business is not a good idea, you have to build the business while in your job. The business environment in Nigeria require you to have other sources of income until it is strong enough. Please don't quit.

I really need an advice. I currently work with one of the Nigerian banks. My monthly take home is about 450k and quite good. My major problem right now is that I have just been transferred from a Branch at one end of Lagos to another end of Lagos. All efforts to convince my boss to deploy me to a closer branch has proved abortive.

Going to work daily right now is a very difficult especially during this raining season and covid 19th period. I spend roughly 3-4 hours on the road when going to work and back home.

I am currently raising my kids on my own right now and dont know how I would manage when school resumes. Before now I drop them off on my way to work in the morning and my friend picks them up to her house in the afternoon till I get back.

I currently have a savings of 2million and would love to start a biz( I dont know what kind) as am comptemplating resigning and start a biz instead so that I can have time for my kids and not die due to stress

I would say never ever settle for an undiagnosed low esteemed unintelligent guy. It is much better to resolve low esteem issues when one is aware and willing to improve.

Also avoid narcist like a plague. These are way harder psychological issues to resolve compared to state of being broke.

I am currently dating a Muslim lady. I have known her for about 5 years now. But we just started dating late last year. Before now, I have asked her out twice but she refused.

I and my Fiancee are not in good term since February this year. She helped me to borrow money to finance my business. I am one of this Betting Agent. She collected a Loan of 100k for me from LAPO and we will pay back the money within a period of 11 months, 16k per month.
The repayment started this year January, and we got the loan from LAPO last year December and I squandered the money that same month. I do also play the game both sport and virtual.

Transport business is problematic. The average Nigerian is very wicked only little number with a good heart, even with hire purchase, the stories and excuses for default never ends.


If you are not free to supervise and be in the system, its better you keep your money in some kind of fixed investment.

Please what type of fixed investment? I also thought about Keke ban & the wicked attitude of Nigerians when money is involved. I will still be doing more investigations as to what one can do that does not require so much capital.

Put ur keke on hire purchase, some of the keke riders balance weekly, open a current account for the money when it gets to 700k buy another and put it out and the cycle goes on.

Remember the 320k is ur profit.

Good idea but I don't think I will go for brand new one. It will be easier for someone to balance for a sound fairly used than new one.

My advice for you is to look into hire purchase, if you ask a driver to deliver 3k per day the maintenance will be ur head and if any unforseen circumstances happen u will still bd one to bear it. As for hire purchase, the driver pays you for a fixed amount you both will agree on. currently Keke napep is around 700,000+ some expenses like plate number reg let's say 730,000 u can hire it out for 1,050,000. The driver owns the Keke after paying up and with that he will drive the Keke with sense since he knows he will bd one to own it after paying up. 1,050,000-730,000= 320,000 that's fair enough

I was advised to go for fairly used Keke instead of brand new. That is between 200k to 500k. Those fairly of 500 are some months old and can really serve. A Keke rider suggest upper fairly used or brand new. Reason, it may take too long to get back 1,050,000.
