Crime / LEAKED VIDEO: Few Hours Before Gana Was Killed. by infogenerator(m): 5:19pm On Sep 24, 2020
Wednesday, September 8, marked the end of one of the most wanted militia leaders in the country, Terwase Akwaza, a.k.a Gana. He died in controversial circumstances, just as he had lived.

His death was widely celebrated and probably condemned by interested parties. Our very own nairaland graced the front page of it's forum with news of his death and mixed feelings was shared among those who commented on the post.

Here is a rare clip that was recorded on the morning of his death. He can be seen melting out disciplinary actions on a erring member of his Gang. Little did he know it was going to be his last day on Earth.

This rare video was shared by a Facebook user Ukan P kurugh.

Hey guys, I'm gonna go straight to the issue at hand. I've been working on a tech startup for months now. The business plan is ready and I'm currently talking to a fundraising company (Fundable). They seem great but i'm not positive about the outcome of our talks. I'm currently looking to explore other options.

I'm sure there are other people on this forum who are also seeking for funding for similar projects.

Please kindly share with us, any crowdfunding option a Nigerian can explore to raise funds for his project.

Romance / Re: Kenyan Girls Are Far Better Than Nigerian Girls by infogenerator(m): 12:49am On Sep 02, 2020
✓How many times a week do we have to read demeaning posts about Nigeria girls on Nairaland.

✓As I'm writing this reply, thousands of Nigerian guys abroad are planning on coming home to marry their "Nigerian girls"

✓This coming Saturday, thousands of churches and event centers are already booked for weddings of "Nigerian girls"

✓ If you travel to Kenya or any other country for that matter, you're gonna find their men also have some negative things to say about their women, that's life bro.

✓If a man says all the women he has met in his life are all terrible women, check him, he is the problem not the them.

well said but why do we get these bad remarks about Nigerian women here in the states , you are quite lucky but bro believe me other African girls are better , do your research .

If you're looking to start a relationship that can lead to marriage, then by all means my friend, look for wife qualities in her. I know physical attraction is a strong key in marriages, but I'd advise you to pay less attention to

✓Facial beauty
✓How hot she dresses
✓How sexually appealing she looks
✓Financial or Family backgrounds
✓Fake Foreign accents

Do these and we will be celebrating your wedding soon on NL...
Romance / Re: Nigerian Girls Are The Worst In The World Never Date Them by infogenerator(m): 5:44pm On Aug 31, 2020
✓ Op bad women are everywhere, If there were humans on Mars, I'd bet on it they have terrible women there too.

✓ It's not predominantly a Nigerian thing, so please stop misleading the gullible ones on NL.

✓ To be honest you seem to have lost your confidence in women in general, hence even if you run to Somalia you're gonna translate this same hate to their women.

✓I strongly believe as a man, you attract your type of woman. I've never been with a terrible woman, because i ain't like that, so we can't even connect in the first place.

✓Op check yourself and work positively on your criteria of a life partner selection and you will meet the right one.

This is the usual modus operandi of our leaders.

They commission uncompleted projects and abandon us to our fate.

Things are becoming clearer now because Nigerians are getting bolder and interested in how the government is being run.

A revolution is imminent, either from IPOB or Nigerians as whole, but it's gonna happen.

We are wiser now

I've been on airplanes in Nigeria, without a properly functional air-conditioning system. How these things are certified to fly still beats my imagination.

Looking at the photos we all know what's going on.

✓The Young guys driving benz are obviously into something not too far from illegal.

✓The police obviously knows this, hence they are bent on stopping them and collecting their share.

Family / Re: Wife's Constant Sex Denial by infogenerator(m): 7:05am On Aug 18, 2020
✓What the hell are you guys saying up there?

✓So because the man isn't a Kamasutra expert she should deny him sex?

✓So if a woman can't cook well enough, the husband should just walk out, leaving the food on the dinning table and eat at a good restaurant down the street? Whatever it is, they are supposed to sit each other's asses down and talk about it, they are one now for heaven's sake.

✓There are some things that shouldn't be done in marriages, one of which is denying your partner sex, unless you're sick or exhausted from the day's activities.

✓Even when some wives are angry with their husbands, they still don't deny him sex, sometimes after the sex, all is settled.

✓we read everyday that sex is one of the leading causes of divorce these days, still most women choose to weaponize it and they turn around to blame witches and the society when their marriages fail.

✓OP, my advise for you is, sit your wife down and ask her what her problem is, if you've done this before and she has never given you a clear answer, then by all means ask her if she is tired of the marriage, in a very clear and manly tone, don't shout, let her know you mean what you're asking. From there used your head.

It's easy bro, prove to your family that she isn't a witch but the best thing that has ever happened to you.

✓ Sit everyone down in a family meeting. Just the same way you have listed all her benevolent gestures towards you on nairaland, list them out to your family. Add small jara join sef.

✓Let them know she is partly the reason you're a man today.

✓Ask your mom if her daughter have done all these for a man and his family turns around to call her a witch how will she feel?

✓Bro you're about to be a man now, this is your first test, don't fall our hand.

✓I'm sure if you're convincing enough your family will have a change of heart, or you might win some of their hearts, if not all.

✓Don't goan loose a good woman because of what one baba in the village said, fight for your woman!

It's in situations like I appreciate the fact "ignorance is bliss". I wish on your behalf you can unknow what you already know, or better still, turn a blind eye to his sexcapades for your own good. Here are my reasons.

✓ You don't seem to have any kind of friendship with your colleague's wife, so she ain't gonna crucify when she finds out.

✓If you tell her, the marriage is over,

✓If you don't tell her, she is still gonna find out sooner or later, and the marriage is still gonna be over.

✓So why must you be the one to destroy the marriage. Why not let the husband and sister take all the blames from all angles, don't share their regrets with them.

✓I don't want to even talk about what the guy might do to you for ruining his marriage, some people don't just see their own mistakes,

My advise to you, tell him for the last time to end his sexcapades, then turn a blind eye. He is an adult.

To be honest, Nigeria is gradually scary the shit out of me.

✓ Insecurity is now a norm in our country

✓Economic developments are dwindling

✓Corruption at a massive scale

✓Unemployment rate is almost at 70%

✓Right to a peaceful protest has been taken away.

Now the only way we can call them to order has been termed a criminal offense.

We are being gagged, so no one can hear us being butt whipped by our government.

Take it or not, but the freedom we enjoyed under GEJ is what true democracy is all about.

she won't listen. That type of woman pretended all through courtship. Trust me, OP is probably warm hearted and avoids trouble, so she would ride him.

Women like that, the men should stop giving her attention, avoid her food and her. Don't hold discussions with her, let her wonder what he is up to. Let him chat on his phone and laugh out loud. Infact avoidance 101 has been activated

You've spoken well.....but DT bolded part sha......e get as e be.
. Once a 3rd party gets involved it might change d dynamics of d marriage as either party (or both) will continually run to the reconcilliator after any quarrel. And for how long will they keep doing DT?

Moreover, Most of our ppl nor dey know their boundary. The 3rd party may use DT opportunity to be forming king Kong in their marital space, which, again isn't proper.

Its only them DT can make dr marriage work, and its all about both parties making sacrifices and coming to compromises. 'Agidi' won't solve it!

Like u rightly said, d woman clearly has attitude challenge which uncle most prolly didn't notice during their courtship.

You have a strong point, to be honest I dread talking to a third party about my relationships, especially seeking for advise. But in this case, he doesn't stand a chance of winning her over by himself, I see a third party as a last resort for him.

I'm sorry about what you have to endure. You've a serious trouble in your hand bro, a woman who doesn't seem to see anything wrong in her error, doesn't take corrections, and hisses at her man every opportunity she gets, will most definitely fustrated you out of marriage.

To be honest, the least of your problem is her dirtiness. Luckily for you, neatness is something that can be learnt, so with the right attitude and mindset she can even become neater than you.

Your real problem is her attitude. I'm glad you've never gotten physical with her, please do well to maintain that, irrespective of what others might tell you .

Following your narrative, I'm assuming you've tried to talk her out of this disrectful attitudes, still it persists. You need to talk to someone she respects and listens to. Does she have parents, siblings or relations make that person your ally. I'm sure she will rethink things.

If after the efforts nothing changes or she gets even worse, please consider the fact that you might be in a wrong marriage.

Family / Re: My Sister Cancels Her Wedding. Is She Doing The Right Thing? by infogenerator(m): 9:51am On Aug 10, 2020
zed7:
The question should be is the husband going to take the right decision? Your sister has made her choice. Is the man going to be smart enough to let her go without begging her?

You can't love me and not love my family, there's no point. It's not like they are going to stay there forever, probably to save up some money first. No man who doesn't like his independence, it circumstances that makes people take some decisions.

I'm not saying your sister doesn't have a right to her decisions, the man just has to be wise enough to let her go to avoid future problems.
Bro you're wise, sometimes love and affection isn't enough, this marriage is already dead on arrival. The wise thing to do is stay away from such a woman. But it will only take a man with a complete set of functional brains to look over feelings and affection in matters like this.

You are right, religion should encourage truth and fairness to say the least. If we all tear each other apart over varying beliefs who would be alive then? I wish all muslims would understand this.
I totally agree, take away violence from Islam and you will have a beautiful religion.

veeshock:

Is a true muslim one who is not violent or what exactly do you mean? There is no need to mince words, all muslims are violent, islam breeds hate and hypocrisy. To them it is okay if a muslim says our Bible is corrupt, but if a christian says the quran is fraud he should be beheaded, that is exactly what their prophet did in his lifetime and he is the "perfect example" for them to copy. They dont see the hypocrisy in his actions.
All Muslims are not violent, I once thought so myself untill I had some personal encounters with Muslims. Not everyone swallows up what their religion teaches them without asking questions. Islam might encourage violence, true, but not all Muslims key into this. Unfortunately those who do out weighs the sensible ones on a massive scale, hence the level of violence we see today.

You don't need religion to have morals. If you can't differentiate right from wrong, then you lack empathy not religion.

Travel / Re: Has Any Nigerian Noticed This...what's This Coming by infogenerator(m): 5:16pm On Aug 08, 2020
WoundedLamb:
Same old story.

Cedi was redenominated (10, 000 old cedis = 1 new cedi) in 2007 thus making 1 cedi to be 0.9USD (all the way from 10,000USD). Does this mean their economy was better than that of the US then? No! That doesn't necessarily reflect the strength of the economy. Nigeria could easily knock off zeros from their Naira (say N100 will be N1000) and match up but does that really solve our economic problems? If N1000 could purchase only purchase a fowl and after redenominating, the new N100 can still purchase only a fowl, then it's just an internal thing and doesn't reflect or change the true strength of your currency in the international market. If you were earning N5000 a week and still earns N500 a week after such redenomination, how has that really helped you?

Redenomination is a money management strategy aimed at ensuring portability, security and easier calculation. It doesn't reflect the value of the currency. What matters is the value (what money can buy) and the power (how much of it you have).

Thanks
Thanks for the education man! You really explained it as it is.
