Family › Re: My Husband Prefers Spending All Of His Time With His Friends. by infogenius(m): 10:26pm On Dec 02, 2015
Ujoan:
I think you are completely WRONG.

It's always easy to blame the woman when the man obviously have a personality defect, how can her husband's irresponsibility be her fault? undecided

In my own case, my husband would text me every second, while with his friends and pester me with calls just to keep me awake. And when he gets home at odd hours all he wants to do is stay up and gist about his day (with his friends) . . . My night became days and my days nights! angry angry

Sometimes it's not about drinking . . . it's about the 'gist' they 'gist' while drinking . . . .

I work too and I hardly have time to obsess over every little thing . . . but it's nice to know that you husband will be coming (and staying) home to you, rather than going out all d time.

Also, some men don't just understand 'tact' . . . Even if they do, they choose to ignore it or interpret it as 'understanding'. My husband used to brag to his friends about how 'understanding' I was of his lifestyle and how I was such a 'perfect wife' because I don't bother him when he hangs out all the time. But I was trying to be 'tactful', I thought that was the way to handle it. It wasn't untill I started bringing down fire and brimstone that he started knowing how badly I was really hurt.

Some men are just that way . . . . it's not easy to change one's personality. It takes time, patience and tolerance.
I understand you clearly.
In as much as one does not need to blame
the woman completely.

Will i blame a man for hanging out only
to leave his wife at home and hang out
with friends?

No. I won't.
Because there is a missing link somewhere.

If a man hangs out regularly with friends
after 6 months to 1 year of marriage, it
shows how much he has refused to grow
and that is a function of the role the wife
plays with respect to making the man use
his senses correctly at every given time or
opportunity.

Your husband obviously respected how hurt you
were whenever he was hanging out that was
why he listened to you. Or rather for peace
sake.

If he has his way he will do it again.

I love hanging out too and I am married
with children.

I still hang out once in a while with friends
if the need is important.

My wife didn't talk or scold me out of it because
it simply wouldn't work.

She simply engaged me tactically and that
worked out well for both of us.

If a married man or woman is not behaving
responsibly, then the spouse is not doing
enough to put him or her to order.

Marriage is meant to correct certain defects
we had as singles and not to keep us at the
same level or worsen our shortcomings.

I still maintain that the op has work to do in
making her husband the husband she wants
him to be.

This is December a desperate month to make
up for the past 11 months.

The economy situation is not friendly, the men, women, boys and girls
are not smiling and the situation is getting uglier.

He who has ears let him hear. December is loaded
with various forms of trickery.
Just beware

Op - Thanks for the insight and information.
Family › Re: My Husband Prefers Spending All Of His Time With His Friends. by infogenius(m):
Op
Thanks for sharing your challenges.
I must honestly tell you that you are a Bore.

Your husband simply does not find anything
exciting about you that will want him to stay at
home with him.

He even spends hours at home with you without
talking to him.

No matter how much a man hangs out, there must
be something about his home to look forward
to if it is there and that must be you.

1.You must learn to be his friend and not a just a wife
What this means is this, learn to share his views by
contributing positively and creatively to his interests and
views and don't make him always feel like
"another woman talk" in your discussions

2. Share his hobbies with him and teach him new things,
like a new song, dance or a new game.

3. Don't you ever insist you want to tag along with him to
hang with his friends. You just be soiling your marriage in
a big mess. Let him be.

4.If he hangs out because of Alcohol, don't be tempted to
encourage Alcohol drinking at home if you don't like it but
diligently go on your knees and talk to God.
Do not for any reason nag provided he does not come drunk.

5. Develop yourself. Read and keep yourself busy. If your mind is
developed he will know it. He stands to gain a lot from your intelligence.
My dear, intelligent people are attractive people.

6.Respect and continue to show him you Love him.

7.Don't in his way if he is hell bent on doing but tactically make him see
through logically and not forcefully. With this, whenever he hits a crossroad
you come to mind.

8. Don't be a Bore. Be that wonderful and interesting babe in his life

In conclusion, marriage is not rocket science, you need a sound mind to make
it work. I wish you the best, baby, in your marriage.

Health › Re: Unfortunate Deaths In Our Hospitals; A Nurse's Perspective by infogenius(m): 9:28am On Nov 07, 2015
I appreciate this thread op.
You have stated your angle and not
that of other nurses and doctors

But here are my reservations.

Any hospital at this age that does not have
a Dr to cover at night is no hospital and should
go into oblivion

How can one tell me that it is only between 8am -
4pm that ill health comes. I'll health and emergencies are round the clock and the
hospital management know this

What I have discovered is that most Drs in govt
owned hospitals have private clinics and would
prefer to spend more of their time in their clinics
than to be on duty at their place of primary assignment.

This alone has caused the loss of many lives because
there is no Dr in the hospital to attend to patients.

I also noticed that the death of patients is no longer
a big deal to hospital staff and that is why it is money
first before anything else.

So sad,
The nurses are not spared either, even with stringent hospital policies, many of our nurses have become so
heartless that besides the manner they talk to sick patients but also their non challant attitude to work.

There are situations were a woman in labour is allowed to suffer because the nurses want to catch some sleep.

Enuf said about the Drs and nurses.

The government should carry more of the blame.
What is the government doing to protect life and property?
Protection of life is tied greatly to adequate and timely health care.

For example, if accidents happen on the roads, no matter how fatal it is the victims will be laid on the road at most for people to sympathise with and take pictures for a long time . Waiting for who?
Many People have lost their lives this way.

What if phone numbers to well trained emergency units in every ward or district is placed everywhere and given to Road and transport unions to call when emergencies like accidents happen. So many lives would have been saved.

The government is not caring with respect to emergencies so also are the staff put in place. Why should hospitals be short staffed? Very crazy!

They are simply clueless about moving the health sector forward. This is also sad

I pray that any one of us or members of our families will not fall into the hands of this clueless people IJN

God bless you all and our dear nation Nigeria

You're welcome but official update is not an option for you if you have rooted the phone except that you Unroot it before the upgrade.

Meanwhile, to boot the phone to recovery, folow this steps;
1- Switch off the phone.
2- Press and hold down both the Volume-up and Power buttons together until the phone comes up.

The screen that comes up is your recovery. From there, you will see;
Data Wipe/ Factory Reset
Wipe Cache etc

Simply select Wipe Cache and confirm it. Reboot your phone when it's completed.
That should correct it.
An eye opener, I am really impressed with this information.

I have tried it but unfortunately the error message keeps popping up.

Thank you very much once again.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I deeply appreciate.

I met this girl when I was a teacher in a private school five years ago. She was a teacher as well. She was a hell of beauty. We both had feelings for each other but there wasn't anything serious. We lost contact when I left the school to pursue business. Five years later, in 2015, we met again. This time, we got really acquainted to each other. We were rolling!

The Test:
I purposely gave her number and details to my friend who is a real player. He scooped her and she fell. She was money conscious as she demanded Samsung galaxy and some money from my friend. He never gave her any of those things. Just by promising her marriage she willingly opened her legs for him. All these while, I was updated by my friend. She never knew I knew about her escapades.

If you were in my shoes what would you do?

As for me I see her as worthless and only use her to quench konji.

Send your kids to him. Let them be the one to say daddy we are hungry. Don't borrow anything again on his behalf. Some men are very heartless. I don't agree with the school of thought that says women should suffer with a man. that is how you will suffer and suffer when money comes he will leave you and run away. If there is no food give them water to drink until their father comes back they will not die.
I agree with this submission.
Op, this is a very serious issue and must tackled with wisdom.
Here are a few things I will advice.
1. Don't complain to him any longer.
2. Take some air and carefully think of a way u will never be dependent on him with d resources available to u.U can start considering starting a small business once u have a little breathing space.
3. Don't borrow any money any longer even to feed ur children. And if he is hell bent on caring less for his kids. U may consider taking them elsewhere like to ur mum's place for proper upkeep.
4.Continue to show him respect, no nagging, no tongue lashing.Accord him his dues as ur husband.
5. Don't discuss this issue with his family people. Let him be as he knows fully well what he is doing.
6. You need ur life, therefore don't put urself under any form of stress.Whatever issue that u can not tackle, don't fret God will take care of them.

Hello Bruv, I had this ebook that I wrote, I am the Author, I did a lot of research and references and it was good from my ends and the reviewer's ends, but I haven't made money from it, I placed it on Kindle books, but no sales I am just left it there because it's the least of my worries now, but if I know a way to make money thru it I wouldn't mind because I poured my heart and spent time and resources in compiling it,

The name is SEX IS GOOD WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAYS.
I believe it has a catchy title, if u have an advice to give me am open to it. Thanks
Here is the link to it

I really commend ur effort in writing a book and putting it out for sale.
Firstly, to me the title is not catchy enough. It seems to me more of a religious thing and many people will think likewise.A few Christians may show interest anyway.
A title like Sex is Good. Here is d sweetest part of it. Will get more attention. D sweetest part is what d bible say about sex.

Secondly, The title needs to be corrected. What the Bible Say is correct.

Thirdly, u don't list ur book on Amazon and sit.Advertise it on Amazon, have people read ur book and let them write a review for your book on Amazon
Also look for other mediums to make some noise for ur book eg through Facebook
It should do well if u drive the marketing well
