The court also found Kabiru Sokoto guilty of planning to bomb the Police Headquarters in Sokoto State. Sokoto was a member of the Shura council of Islamist sect Boko Haram according to his personal testimony during the trial. http://www.infonubia.com/2013/12/christmas-day-bomber-kabiru-sokoto.html |

Michael Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, the two men who murdered 25-year-old British soldier Lee Rigby in May have been found guilty of hacking the soldier to death. The Guardian reports that the two men were convicted after a trial at the Old Bailey in central London, which heard that the soldier was almost beheaded in the attack. The jury took just over 90 minutes to reach its verdicts. Both men were found not guilty of the attempted murder of a police officer. Relatives of Rigby cried as the verdicts were given. Mr Justice Sweeney, who ordered that the decisions be heard in silence, said he would pass sentence after a key appeal court ruling on the use of whole life terms in January. Adebolajo looked at the press and kissed his Qur’an as he was taken to the court cells. Adebolajo, from Romford, Essex, and Adebowale, from Greenwich, south London, claimed they were soldiers of Allah and their violence was a reprisal against western foreign policy, which had led to the deaths of Muslims. At the time of the attack, Rigby was attached to the regimental recruiting team and was on his way back to barracks in Woolwich from a shift working at the Tower of London. Previously he had served a tour of duty in Helmand, Afghanistan, fighting Islamist militants. After Rigby was attacked in the street, Adebolajo was filmed on the mobile phones of passersby, justifying the murder as a strike against the west, in language echoing the propaganda of violent jihad. http://www.infonubia.com/2013/12/woolwich-murder-trial-michael-adebolajo.html |

Abu Mikey:Abi now |
MAYOWAAK: Obasanjo is an uncultured fellow.Using such intemperate and vituperative words, however the level of provocation portrays lack of self-controlHe was probably too mad at Vanguard that he lost his cool. |
skydeep: Silly politiciansReally silly. Politics is now about slandering. The person who can find the most dirt on another, wins! |
Pinky111: They are trying to white wash themselves. Iyabo actualy wrote that letter. I dare iyabo to sue vanguard now or forever remain dumb!I would have expected some kind of lawsuit threat against vanguard if indeed she didn't write it. But there's no mention of such. |
prymesolution: I just ran out of popcorn...This is shaping out to be another Indian movie.Go get some more...hurry! |
iyabo obasanjo did the letter is too detailed to be a fogery only iyabo obasanjo would know such details and inner workings of the obasanjo family no amount of denial can change that the cat is out of the bag!
I'm beginning to believe it. She's also been silent on the matter. |
It's really beginning to look like Senator Iyabo Obasanjo really wrote the open letter to her dad. Vanguard Newspaper reported that the former president Olusegun Obasanjo was furious (rightfully so. I would have don the same) when reporters from the Media house tried reaching him over the phone. The phone conversation that was abruptly cut went like this: Vanguard: Sir, we tried reaching you all through yesterday, to no avail, over the letter written by your daughter, Iyabo, to you. Chief Obasanjo: You are a bloody idiot, you have published the paper and you are now looking for me, you are an idiot, don’t call me again. When Iyabo finishes you in court…. (hangs up). In another development, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, former governor of Ogun State confirmed meeting with Senator Iyabo Obasanjo in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she expressed exactly the same sentiments about her father as contained in her letter. It's been over 24 hours since news of the letter broke and Iyabo Obasanjo is yet to publicly deny writing any such letter. Maybe she's planning a 'robust' reply. In all this mess, the real issue at hand is the missing $49.8 Billion turned $12 Billion realized from the sales of crude oil between January 2012 and July 2013 and expected to be remitted to the federation account by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. The open letter is an unnecessary distraction from exposing the thieves who stole all that money. I'm afraid, we may not find out who they are. In any case, this story is fast becoming an Indian movie....a never ending one. Hope you haven't ran out of popcorn. Like they say in Nigerian movies, THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING...... http://www.infonubia.com/2013/12/youre-bloody-idiots-obasanjo-to-vanguard.html |

Elliotwiz1: it must have been because of the angle from which the bullet struck his skull. The angle must have been so small that the bullet may have just slided across his skull. Maybe before the bullet got to him, it must have bounced of several surfaces and lost it's speed...these two factors may have caused it.....me think°Thank you Sir! you must have Aced your physics class! You explanation makes a lot of sense. |
FOOL FINDER: I think he has a thick skull. That's what D'banj would call "Ori yato s'ori" meaning head pass head. |
