angelo82: Yeah I mean FGN Bond and they have 3,5,7 and 10 years series of Bond and the rates are good too but even at that before you can get involve in any Bond you must wait until after 2015 election to see how stable the government is…..You don't have to fear because money to pay the bond is always included in the budget and backed by law….Its good to be very careful when you are going to invest your money,so you need to scrutinize everything very well. Can you believe that I was offered 12.5% by Investment One but I don't feel good with it and I went for 10% with a bank that I am very familiar with….So risk is a serious factor to consider in anything but FGN Bond is secure but the political factor is the problem for investors right now….Why where you not feeling good about the investment one offer? Was it just gut feeling or do they have some sort of bad record? Need to know cos I do most of my transactions with them. Thanks |
Good day For those that have children or you have trained a child, how did you manage to potty train the child? Is there a technique u need to follow to ensure that your child learns quickly Potty training Techniques? Share your experiences! |
Adinije: if u haven't deposited ur money and it got stloen, it's ur loss but if u have just deposited and the bank got robbed immediately then it's the bank's loss.Well thank God for technology. In the daays of yore, when your teller was very important, if you do not have the teller. am sure u would not get any money. |
MissYuzedo: Who is fooling him/her. I have been battling with facial hair ever since I turned 19. Though its very small I just don't like it. My friend told me she knows a cream for it but I don't know the name.I think it has more to do with your hormonal structure than any other thing. Try waxing it off. |
eluquenson: GTbank & their wahala, I can only have savings acct with them, that's all.OVERRATED Did I just read that? Please this bank is not overated @ all. They do have their faults and wahala but they, like zenith, FBN, etc are peers and doing as fine as they could. Even though most of them milk us through different charges but GTB is not overatted.
They are not hoarding it. Most people do not like to move around with the so-called lesser bills because of their low purchasing power and near worthlessness. Who would like to stuff his pocket and wallet with N5 notes? What people buy things with is what they will be given to them back as balance.
Regardless of their low purchasing power, I believe if it was not being hoarded, the lower notes would naturally find their way to the hands of those that need them. It must be in preparation of the new paper notes being planned for next year(lower notes : N20 and N50 and N10). |
This thought came to my mind just now. With the number of churches we have nowadays, I do not know if Pastors (or Imam) pay any tithe on their salaries given to them by their respective religious bodies. Anyone with the knowledge should Furnish us please. |

Now this is a touchy topic. Is there a limit to the amount of sex an individual should on a weekly or daily basis? Would it be right to have it in an unlimited way or maybe 7 times a week. I think one should enjoy it with ones partner as much as you want. |
suleiman16: President Jonathan Is OurYou cannot equate 13hours with 27 years. Jonathan is a good man but he needs to be firmer with taking prompt decisions. I wish him Goodluck. |
@all, just to contribute to this. We had this problem as well and been trying for years. We took various natural supplements - eating well, asala, bananas and other fruits. Dh also took some hormonal injections for about a year. And we prayed! We shared this problem with our immediate family members and pastor and close friends. To God be the glory, we got pregnant in a cycle we least expected - only had sex once. For me, I would recommend the problem is shared, natural remedies and medical assistance set in motion and above all trust God for His promises on child delivery. Also remember there are spiritual undertones in most physical issues so please deal that as well. Dh and I went for deliverance at MFM to be sure that side is clear.
Please what is the meaning of DH? |
kadman: You think it's easy to be hot? You think the fitness regime, beauty regime, weaves and wigs are FREE Really! Harsh! The guy might not be broke, just bitter. |
ogugua88: My mother and I had this discussion just yesterday. I showed her a picture of a guy that was trying to get close to my sister and I. Her response? "Some guys don't date within their caliber." I was telling her, if I were a man, I'd evaluate myself inside and out and toast accordingly, for the girl I want should have no reason to reject me. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the guys who bash Naija women in this section are the lacking guys going for Kim Ks.In as much as I agree that men should PROBABLY date within their circle, I don't think it is wrong to aim high in this life @ all. Its we humans that created class amongst ourselves and I personally do not see anything wrong with a guy asking a lady out even if they are not in the same class. Its the guys' prerogative to ASK and it's the ladys' choice to agree or disagree. Have you ever wondered that there are the Kim K's out there that just want a regular guy in thier lives and leave out all the drama. I would personally like guys to date across class cos it's a trait that they can aim high in life to achieve in all they set out to. You have a right to say NO so it's definitely not by force. You can't blame a guy for trying. |
I actually went to a higher institution but looking back I really don't think it is a necessity to survive in the real world. Imagine spending the next 6 to 8 years as an apprentice (Dats d range of years most ppl spend in sch n service) in a welding, capentry, Fish farm etc. And you become ur own boss at the end of this training. When u compare sm1 from NYSC with ppl like this, the guy on the street has more knowledge about the field and to a large extent has more money(though they might not look it). What are your tots? |
@OP, you must also understand that DSTV has close competitors, StarTimes being one of the greatest. The net effect is that though the subscriber base may actually be in the millions, the active and paying subscribers may actually be in the range of a few thousand. Liken it to this: MTN has got the largest subscriber base in the country presently. However, many folks hardly recharge their MTN lines due to their extremely harsh tariffs. Instead, using a dual SIM phone, the MTN is used to only answer calls. Got the gist?
True! These guys call me to renew every month end and I asked one of the callers in April this year and he said they have over 4m subscribers. Granted not all would be active, give 50percent. @ 3000 plus other add ons. Well I hope Nigeria would have more companies like Dangote. |
I believe in having a lasting Nigeria business that grows year on year. Watching DSTV operate in Nigeria, I was just thinking: How much exactly does this Company make on a monthly basis. From research it has 4 million subscribers. Base all on the 3000N package and that is 12 billion naira per month and over 140 billion naira annually!! ![]() With this amount, they can pay for rights and also Make a tidy profit. Do you think they make that much? |

Did I just read that? Please this bank is not overated @ all. They do have their faults and wahala but they, like zenith, FBN, etc are peers and doing as fine as they could.
