Goldieluks:When did I say that that was my ideal man? The OP said "To all the ladies in the house I like u to enlighten us guys on the basic, intermediate and advanced pampering gestures u expect from your man. Pls include at the beginning your personality type to put your answer into a bright perspective." which I did ![]()
Are you busy? ^^^ Hehehe, I know what I like . I didn't really say it was a must to have every single thing ![]() |
jay bee:lol, not exactly all of that but most would be nice. There are some men with such qualities-its just a matter of me finding them ![]() |
@OP: Ok, here is my response. In terms of personality, I can usually vibe with most guys. There really isn't one type of personality that I like. In terms of my own personality, I would say I'm pretty laid back [idk, I guess you'd have to judge that for yourself]. As for what I expect from a guy: - he should be respectful - he should be compassionate. - he should be reliable. - he shouldn't rely on text messaging as a tool of courtship. - he should have a "way" about him. - he should have moved on from pickup lines to conversation starters. - he should want the party to end at some point [at some point in time, he needs to realize that he has responsibilities and that life isn't always about partying and having a good time.] - he should be worldly. - he should at least know know how to cook one thing really well. - he should have a politically, culturally, and socially aware of things both within the country he resides in, the country of his birth [if he was not born in the country he currently resides in], and the country of others. - he should behave as if his mother raised him correctly--even if she didn't. - he should still be eager to learn, teach, and exchange knowledge. - he should be financially secure and independent. - he should be a gentleman [I love gentlemen - he should be faithful. - he should not be addicted to his work. - he should admit his mistakes. - he should be secure with himself as a man, lover, and any other way possible that a man can be secure about themselves [even if he isn't, I can try and work with that]. - he should be comfortable with me emotionally, sexually, physically, and any other way possible. - he should have a sense of humor with a dash of humility. - I expect him to challenge me in a manner that enables me to become a better person, woman, lover, partner, and human being. By the way, I picked some of the things on this list from and article I read through a while ago. All I did was tweak it to add some of my own personal preferences. |

OAM4J:Being married doesn't mean that the world will be any better? There are millions of married couples all over the world yet the world isn't any better ![]() There are societies where individuals live communally without marrying and still thrive ![]() |
ogugua88:lol, I figured just wanted to point out that Igwe what's his face instigated the whole thing ![]() |
MRbrownJAY Please do not join the ranks of the ignorant generalisers so frequent these days. If two or three people come here and denigrate intelligent women that is not "most" ok? The Nigerian men I know all want their wives to be educated and successful. Granted they may not want their wives to be richer than them but if it happens they don't make any trouble as long as the wife doesn't loose her head.
Just wondering Lord_Reed, what's your take on that whole thing? |
MzDarkSkin:Hmmm, interesting. By the way I have a solution for yoursexual frustration? ![]()
I sure would! I would called her a dumb trick for letting that man bite her mammalias off without douching his arse with hair spray and fire! I would have nicknamed her NUMB mammalias.
![]() |
Did you see how quickly he got back up, though? If you are fighting someone bigger than you and put them down, you'd better finish them. Not let them get back up. If she was smart she should have just run away from the situation rather than even swinging at him. Imagine if this video scene had happened at night. And there was no video camera, and nobody witnessing it. That girl would have been in a lot of trouble once he got back up. . . face broken, ribs broken, and probably a lot worse. . . possibly r.a.ped. She is VERY lucky it didn't go much worse for her.
Yupp, I don't like fighting but I do if I have to defend myself and like I always say I fight to demobilize you. Its terrible that everyone else just stood by ![]() aminalib:So very true. I remember seeing some black girls fight with a white girls and these girls seemed super angry because the white girls, instead of doinf what most white girls did by backing down, they stood their ground and fought back ![]()
That is the most DANGEROUS part of it. If she is running away or backing away, then he won't hit her or mess with her too much. But the punch she threw damaged his pride. Embarrassed him in front of his friends. That is the most dangerous part of it. . . if you damage a man's pride he will do some dangerous-@ss things. That is why I am saying she is lucky it didn't happen at night.
Good point |
That was disgusting on so many levels. Na wa for tomfoolery on both sides. |
I'm watchin' the finale right now ![]() |
