Now the bible has become an object of mockery and blasphemy to this man. It is finished. |
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has lamented the effect of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities on students and tertiary education in the country.https://punchng-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/punchng.com/indefinite-strike-peter-obi-laments-varsity-closure/?amp_js_v=a6&_gsa=1&&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM%3D#aoh=16619899840880&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Fpunchng.com%2Findefinite-strike-peter-obi-laments-varsity-closure%2F

Better late than never |
About time... |
So what was the issue? Please. |
Dear FG, you should have given up on propaganda by now having seen clearly that it's not working on ASUU. But as an inept set of people, you are still using this technique, shame on you for playing politics with students future. |
Fake news |
This government is very insincere and wicked to it's citizen. So the plight of students means nothing to them so long as they are not affected. How have you kept your promises without paying ASUU people their entitlements. I'm beginning to think that FG had no intention of settling the dispute with ASUU this year. Ngige was only dribbling them, sending them on a wild goose chase. If I'm ASUU, by next year, I won't shift grounds on any of my demands and they must be fulfilled to the later. Even the said revitalization money should not be reduced by any value. Since FG wants to leverage on the coming Christmas celebrations to see whether ASUU would bend. Very wicked and selfish government that doesn't give a damn about educating her citizens. |
That money is too much for a "90% scholarship" and online for that matter. Pls ignore the agents above and invest in a real public or private University. Don't waste your time and money for online classes |
Trying to reap where you did not sow is sin. The so called SSANU should know this. |
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/11/no-agreement-yet-to-suspend-strike-%e2%80%95-ASUU/ I said it! This govt likes propaganda and our press people are very lazy. I still don't understand why Punch rush to publish a fake news just to be the first to say something about the aftermath of ASUU's meeting with FG. The other lazy media outlets simply copied the nonesense without verification. Dear Nigerian students, until you take to the streets about this strike, FG will continue to be dribbling ASUU and frustrating your future because they care less about education in this country. Very sad |
This news is incomplete, I don't understand the rush to publish an incomplete news by Punch. ASUU only agreed to call-off the strike after FG complies/implements their demands within the time frame they gave FG. This kind of lazy journalism is very disappointing |
...and the so called CONUA members are also at home due to ASUU strike ![]() The hustle is real. Every tom dick and Harry wants a bite from the national cake, hmmm! |

N 16,000 kickbacks to AGF on any body enrolled on IPPIS. That's billions for the AGF without breaking any sweat. ![]() And one wonders why he would rather die than forgoing ASUU members registering on IPPIS. The corruption in this govt is on the Apex levels. I'm so disappointed ![]() |
"But ASUU insisted that the government has not met its demands , noting that the resolution of the eight- month strike was not in sight." Students need to intensify their plans for the protests to make this friday's meeting with FG fruitful. Else FG will be dribbling ASUU again and we know what that means. I-N-C-O-N-C-L-U-S-I-V-E |
But FG can provide hardwares and hard currencies to the tune of 380 Billion for Boko Haram ![]() FG doesn't have any interest in the education of her citizens. This is very very very bad. One day monkey go go market but no fit return. Continue being wicked to your own citizens |
Very insincere and corrupt government. Bereft of any modicum of ideas. God will judge this wicked FG. |
“When they are still discussing with you, they will go to town and tell people what has not been done. Their intention is to paint ASUU as the aggressor." Very insincere government. ![]() No wonder ASUU is behaving the way they are. FG can never be trusted. Very disappointing |
OP add this link to your submission if you want it to get to front page. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/11/strike-we-are-yet-to-agree-anything-with-government-%E2%80%95-ASUU/amp/ |
Here, government would say " is just 15 that was killed, I thought it was 100, no wahala". Failed country ![]() |
FG is not ready to resolve this strike matter at all. Imagine Ngige saying that revitalization of public University cannot be included in the budget . I'm so disappointed. But rehabilitation of Boko Haram can be included to the tune of over 350 Billion naira?Dear Nigerian students, you can see that this govt will never take you serious until you rise up and take laws into your hand. The ball is in your court now. Continuous delay is over dangerous. |
Will come to an end when you are not doing anything towards that direction. Keep dribbling. I hope the student unions would take things up with you people since that is the only language FG understands. |
Not a problem, these ones have already accepted to be in IPPIS so their position now is irrelevant. They should be left in IPPIS and ASUU on UTAS. This lingering strike must be called off by all means. |
Long overdued, |
Finally! Better late than never. Good one NANS if you guys would follow through with this. |
Things like this makes me think if ASUU's UTAS was designed even in Zimbabwe, Nigerian Govt would not have hesitated to purchase it for billions of naira and subsequently approve for usage without any 'integrity test'. This country is lost. Pathetic! ![]() |
Even the minister of state confirmed the deficiencies of IPPIS. I think FG should give the UTAS a chance. |
Very irritating one sided junk report. They didn't have to run around for over 3 trillion for invisible palliatives. Rubbish. |
Attention seekers. *Spits* |
NANS has been compromised just like NLC. They might not carry out any protest or serious action to drive home their demands from FG. This might just be for the galary. I'm so disappointed in NANS leadership for allowing this strike lingers till now. |
