So she caught him and kissed him; With an impudent face she said to him: (Proverbs 7:13)

The seductress "caught him and kissed him" revealed two things. First, the seductress was trying to create an impression of "I care for you", and secondly, to get him quickly aroused sexually. Many folks walk into sexual sin with their own legs because those the devil is using have created an impression that they genuinely love and care for them.

The second perspective, why the seductress "caught him and kissed him" is to quickly get him aroused. If you check where the narrative started in verse 5, you will discover that the seductress has done 2 major things - sprinkled lust into the atmosphere from the realm of the spirit and adorned a sexually provocative appearance. However, there hasn't been a physical contact before now, and the seductress knows the necessity of both getting and keeping their potential victims sexually aroused if they are to get them to the edge.

The seductress will do all it takes to get you sexually aroused, then keep you aroused, as this is when they can comfortably negotiate with you into doing what they have planned. So, a lady who wants to lure a guy into sexual immorality will have prepared the atmosphere before inviting him to her room, then will be on skimpy wear, and will ensure there are physical touches. The aim is to get him aroused, and keep him aroused (through her actions and inactions, through words, etc), as it increases the chances of getting him to sleep with her.

A guy who desires to lure a lady into sexual immorality will prepare the room well before inviting her (his lusts and intentions would have infested the atmosphere of the room with lust), then he makes her watch a sensual movie (some even intentionally put on soft porn movies), and may even secretly add some aphrodisiac into the drink he offered her. The aim is to get her aroused, then keep her aroused (through his actions and inactions, through words, etc), as that's when he can most likely achieve his intentions.

What's the big fuse about getting and keeping their potential victims sexually aroused? When the average healthy human is aroused, the part of their mind that is reasonable will most likely shut down, and all that's going on inside them is an endless release of hormones and chemicals that aim for biological procreation and affect their behavior and beliefs. Their mind becomes myopic, fixating on the acquisition of immediate pleasures, totally forgetting the long-term implications. In an arousal state, for the average person, it is difficult to control their impulses and reactions. So the seductress knows what they are doing when trying to get you aroused and keep you aroused. If you see a person who directly or subtly does things that get you aroused, you will be wise to distance yourself from them.

The concluding part of the verse says, "With an impudent face she said to him:". The meaning of the word impudent is: Not showing due respect; bold-faced; Lacking modesty or shame. So, this seductress boldly breaks established protocols without fear of anything, and this is done shamelessly. For instance, in their own ancient society, it is the man who ought to approach the woman for anything intimate. But here, the case was reversed.

This has revealed another characteristic of the manifestation of the spirit of the seductress - reversals. So, for instance, rather than the usual protocols of males trying to convince a female for intimate activities, you begin to see males trying to seduce fellow males. Instead of the usual case of ladies trying to seduce males, you see ladies trying to seduce fellow ladies. Rather than the usual case of an adult making attempts to molest an underage, you see an underage under the influence of the spirit of the seductress intentionally seducing the adult. Reversals.

TOPIC: 4 Things Ruining Many Young People (Part 1)

"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (II Timothy 2:22 NKJV)

*Message*

The Bible already exposed the evil mission of the devil, the archenemy of mankind:”….the thief comes not but to steal, and to kill and to destroy…” (John 10:10). Today, the evil agenda of the devil is vehemently directed towards young people around the world.

Hence, many youths are bedeviled with evil and all of its expressions. The devil is interested in you as a young person, because of your strength and potential (you can wreak serious havoc to his kingdom if you will align with God). So, the devil tries to distract you with many wrong things to ruin you before you can ruin his agenda.

There are so many things the enemy is utilizing to bring youths today into ruin and destruction. But let me put them under these 4 major categories:


1. Materialism

The craze and lust for physical material things keep pushing many young folks into self-destruction. This is finding expression via gambling, prostitution, stealing, ritualism, scamming, etc. They want to flaunt the latest phones and gadgets, flashy cars, clothes, and so on.

Contentment is no longer in the dictionary of many, and this is dangerous. Hence, they are ready to do just anything to acquire material stuff to show off and impress and feel among.

"Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." (I Timothy 6:6-7)‬‬


2. Immorality

Many young people are slaves to sex, masturbation, pornography, and so on. Their strength is wasted on the evil pleasures of immorality, and they keep entangling themselves deeper into terrible addictions. It’s so bad.

"Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (I Corinthians 6:18)

TOPIC: Your Strength As A Young Person

"I have written to you, young men (young people), because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one" 1 John 2:14

*Message*

In the above verse, the Apostle John, by the Holy Spirit, was able to identify three things that should contribute to our identity as young people (as healthy young people).


First, he mentioned the strength of young people. Of course, a healthy young person is physically stronger than the elderly one. However, since the Apostle John, at the point of writing this, was in the realm of the Spirit which is above this material world of ours, his expressions weren't limited to simply the things we know in our own realm here. Hence, when he was talking about being strong, he wasn't limiting himself to mere physical strength.

Apostle John was trying to draw our attention to the fact that it is the destiny of every young person to have divine strength and stamina. One major expression of divine strength is the capacity to stay in the presence of God continually. Simply put, as a young person, you have the inherent potential and ability to have a pleasant relationship with God right from the days of your youth - notwithstanding the hindrances and distractions prevalent today.

How is this possible? The second statement gave us the key: "... because the word of God abides in you". You see, the Word of GOD is all you need to establish a right relationship with God your Maker, and it is what will sustain you in Him, even in this dark world.

And I'm pleased to announce to you that Jesus Christ is the Word of GOD. Jesus must dwell in you if you would maximize your potential as a "strong" youth. Hence, it is your destiny to embrace Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour and have an intimate relationship with Him.

Additionally, Jesus Christ has made Himself so accessible through the written word of God (the Scripture). Hence, ensure you constantly saturate yourself with scriptures, and your spirit and soul will always be empowered.

Finally, this verse reveals that every young person has the potential to overcome the evil one. How? Through the Word of GOD! You are not meant to be a slave to the devil and anything else negative - sickness, poverty, failure, sin, hell, and so on. But this can only be possible when you have a righteous relationship with God in Christ Jesus, where you become empowered by the Holy Spirit.

*As a young person, your greatest focus should be the LORD JESUS. It's your destiny to have a righteous relationship with God that is eternal in nature through Jesus Christ. This is what empowers you to have dominion over creation. GOD bless you in Jesus Name. Amen.*

*Message*

As wisdom is the principal thing, then we should give great priority to seeking and getting wisdom, particularly as people who want to live a successful and fulfilled life. Indeed, Wisdom is an integral determinant when it comes to true success.

Whilst we live in a generation and society that prioritizes immediate material gratification above the things that really matter and at the expense of wisdom, wisdom demands that you, dear reader, should opt for the noble path. This is good for you, since a life lived without wisdom will always have terrible repercussions.


As far as the chase for wisdom is concerned, wisdom demands that you seek Wisdom Himself, the LORD Who is all-wise. He is the True Source of Eternal Wisdom. And what we learn from Him gets us empowered to live a fulfilled eternal life.

Truly, we can learn and hear a lot from Him through the scriptures (which are His Words). God's word ignites you for a purposeful life and existence (Jeremiah 1), and you will discover that your primary purpose and aim is to ensure an intimate righteous relationship with God that is eternal in nature, through Jesus Christ. This is what empowers you to have dominion over creation. And which makes you a true success both here on earth and in eternity.

The results and fruits that emanate from your adventures will reveal the strength of the wisdom you operate with.

*Wisdom demands that you make up your mind to not hold back yourself from serving GOD in the manner He desires, and you should keep remembering that God is taking notes on what you do in secret and public - for a day will come when we will give an account of ourselves.*

Dear believer, as you interact with society in these times, always remember these three things, and they will keep you empowered for the advantages of divinity:

1. Biblical Principles Should Be Given Greater Priority Above All Other Opinions

The truth is, if we can live our lives in complete obedience to what God is saying and has said in His Scripture of Truth, our individual lives and collective societies will experience true peace and prosperity.

You will keep doing yourself a lot of good if you can keep meditating on the words of the Bible and live your life in accordance with biblical principles.

2. That Jesus Is More Than Sufficient

If you don't know anybody else around you as leverage for help but you know Jesus, it is more than enough. You don't need to have connections before you excel - if you know Jesus Christ, you won't be small.

Hence, it is wisdom to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and ensure you keep growing in your walk with the Lord.

3. Always Sustain The Consciousness That The Holy Spirit Is A Real Helper

The Holy Spirit has expertise in helping you become all God has destined you to be.

If you maintain this consciousness, you will start seeing Him help you in ways you haven't seen before, and He becomes real to you than before. The Holy Spirit enjoys helping us. Always give Him opportunities to help you.

I've known since childhood that God so loved the world, and love made Him give us His only begotten Son Jesus to die for our sins. Nevertheless, as you age and consider things from a deeper height, you begin to realize that God's Love in Christ Jesus is much deeper than we think we know.

God, despite being Omnipotent and can do without us, is still chasing us about, trying to bring us to Himself so we can become sons and daughters of His, and live a blessed life. Jesus died for us when we didn't deserve it. And while many people in the world today are running away from having an intimate relationship with Him, His Love keeps chasing them so they won't be destroyed.

Indeed, for a lifetime, we will have to keep learning and exploring the mystery of the Love of Christ.

Even the adornment of mankind to have dominion and rulership as kings and priests can be explored from the lenses of God's deep love. Humans were created by the Creator to have dominion over creation.

And even after we lost what it takes to fulfill destiny after Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, Jesus Christ came to restore all we lost. Now, we are empowered again by the Holy Ghost to have dominion and exercise rulership.

Hence, it is an aberration to be a slave to sin, sickness, poverty, satan, hellfire, and other negative things. The way to have true dominion is to ensure an intimate righteous relationship with God, which is what empowers us to rule as kings and priests. "And (Jesus Christ) have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth" Revelation 5:10. This is your destiny - but it can only be a reality via an intimate walk with the LORD.

You are wonderfully and fearfully made by GOD. When GOD finished creating you, He looked at you and smiled, happy that He made you well. He has deposited inside you certain abilities that you can naturally exhibit. These are your talents, meant to help you accomplish your destiny and purpose without issues (Exodus 31:1-11)

The Holy Spirit will help you discover your own talents, and give you the wisdom to utilize them for His Glory (Judges 6:12).

Also, when we give ourselves to God in Holiness and Righteousness, He blesses us with supernatural abilities, known as spiritual gifts. In 1 Corinthians 12, we could see some of these gifts. These gifts will be utilized by God to make you a vessel (irrespective of your age), to comfort the Church, edify her, and exhort her.

Personally, expressing these gifts will ensure you go deeper in the things of God, nurture a deeper relationship with God, and be more fervent in the things of the Spirit.

So you see, you will always be advantaged when you decide to give your life to JESUS and serve GOD in spirit and in truth. Irrespective of your age, start walking intimately with God your Creator now!

*Turn your back to the vain culture of the day and be ready to please the LORD by being the odd one of the pack. The LORD will always honor you in return, both here on earth and in eternity.*

One of the best things that can happen to any young person is to receive the Life of God as a young chap and make the decision to walk intimately with Jesus Christ from the days of your youth.

When you get old and taking stock of your life, you will forever be proud of yourself for deciding to serve God right from your youthful days.

Jesus said: "I am to the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6). When you as a young chap submit yourself genuinely to Jesus, serving Him in spirit and in truth, He will translate you from darkness (a state of hopelessness and helplessness) into His Kingdom of Life and Light.

When you choose to walk with Jesus, He gives you His Holy Spirit, Who helps you live in line with His Will and precepts. The Holy Spirit is a big Asset that will transform your life forever. This is my experience!

The Holy Spirit will do a lot of things in and for you. One, your self-esteem will be on a splendid level. Your self-esteem is your self-worth, the way you truly see and regard yourself. It is important to have proper self-esteem, particularly when one is still growing. Unfortunately, many young people have very low self-esteem, and they are easily influenced by bad peers because they always crave acceptance.

But the Holy Spirit helps in realizing one's proper worth, and your self-esteem will be healthy. For me, while I grew up in an environment filled with immoral and wrong things, even as a young teenager at that time, I confidently enjoyed being the odd one living right, since I esteemed myself very highly, courtesy of the Holy Spirit.

TOPIC: How God Transformed John Newton ‭

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

*Message*

John Newton (1725-1801) was a strong atheist and blasphemer. As a young man, he was a bully, usually angry and wild. When he turned 18, he was forced into the Navy. He was notorious for always breaking the rules and was often publicly flogged for desertion. Before becoming a slave trader, he was greatly despised and feared by his crewmates.

When he was 23, his ship one day encountered a terrible storm, and it almost sank off the coast of Donegal. While the ship was filled with water and there appeared no more hope, Newton cried out to God for help. On March 1748, God rescued him, and he began a new life.

John Newton started praying and reading the Bible. He eventually became a prominent light in the campaign to abolish the slave trade.

He is best known as the author of the hymn:
"Amazing Grace"
Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now I'm found,
Was blind, but now I see....."

So delightful...

Beloved, please don't despise anyone. The dirtiest sinner you see today can also become a pure child of God tomorrow. GOD is not giving up on any of His prodigal children still lost in the wild.

Every atheist and hard unbeliever simply needs an encounter with God. Beyond giving them sermons and preaching to them, many stubborn atheists and unbelievers needs an encounter with God that will bring them into God's Kingdom. The LORD Himself must lovingly introduce Himself to them as He did Paul. Hence, we must keep interceding for them.

If you are currently an atheist or unbeliever, if you will open your heart, Jesus will come and visit you this week. And your life will never remain the same when you submit to the Lordship of Christ.

As Christians, we must place great value on evangelism and all that concerns soul-winning. Many sinners out there will be saved by Jesus Christ when we arise to partner with the Holy Ghost to minister the gospel (which has an inherent capacity to break the hardest heart and is indeed the power of GOD unto salvation)

TOPIC: What Is God Telling You Right Now?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

*Message*

Many people are usually eager to have access to divine information about themselves, and they try to be attentive to know what God has for them.

Perhaps, you have been wondering what God is saying about you and your current state. Of course, you are not alone! In fact, so many have been wondering what the mind of GOD is concerning the world in such a time as this.

You should know that GOD, being a loving Father who has our best interest at heart, is always speaking to us, as His voice is what we really need to live a life filled with pleasantness and blessings.

The problem is, many people don't pay attention to what God is saying, as the world is filled with several distractions put in place by the mischievous devil. Nevertheless, it is not difficult to know what God is saying as we have access to His Word (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:19), and we have the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16).

What God is telling you right now is that He wants you to know and remember that He loves you so much. He graciously made you well, preserved you to be alive till this day, and He even took a painful step to die for your sins.

"For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

What GOD is telling you right now is that you should nurture an intimate relationship with HIM, as this is what will empower you to live a life filled with blessings and glory and dominion. This is possible through faith in Jesus Christ.

GOD is telling you that very soon, He will come back to take the Saints home to heaven, and you must always be ready for Him when He calls. And if you are sure you aren't living consistently with His perfect Will for you, He is saying you should simply call upon His name and ask Him for mercy, and His love will compel Him to draw you into His blissful embrace.

TOPIC: Let's Welcome The Day Of Separation

"Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into the vessels, but threw the bad away." Matthew 13:47-48

*Message*

Jesus preached the Kingdom while about His ministry on earth. The Message of the Kingdom is a message of Empowerment that brings dignity, hope, and meaning to all humanity. Hence, we genuinely start living and enjoying life after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and submitting to the Government of God's Kingdom

The book of Matthew, which is the first in the New Testament, is mainly about the King and His Kingdom. There, we can find some of Jesus' parables. Of course, the parables were spoken by JESUS to empower the citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. They are not mere stories for entertainment.

Matthew 13:47-50 contains the parable of the dragnet, and the major aim is to make you realize or remember that there will eventually be a day of separation. This consciousness should propel you to take and make the right decisions before the day comes.

Jesus will come back soon, in fact, sooner than we expected. The Rapture will represent a day of separation. While true believers will fly to the skies to meet Jesus, unbelievers (and fake Christians) will be left here to pass through the anguish of the antichrist. It will be a brutal period for those that will miss the rapture...

And of course, if Jesus should tarried, every one of us will leave this world one by one. When that happens, our actions and inactions here on earth will determine our eternal fate.

Wisdom demands then that you live right before the day comes. You live in line with God's Will and forsake anything holding you back from serving God in spirit and in truth.

If there's still any sinful thing you do, please run to Jesus and ask for mercy and help.

If you are yet to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, this is another opportunity for you. If you have deviated from the path of life and have backslide, you should make things right again with the LORD.

Anywhere you are, just ask for the mercy of God. Tell Jesus, "LORD, have mercy on me and come into my life".

TOPIC: Selfless Love

*Message*

Genuine love is also characterized by selflessness, and in the exploration of true love, you must arrive at a state that is devoid of selfishness if you will maximize the beauty of love. You shouldn't live for yourself alone but should strive as much as possible to make it a duty to show love to others around you.

We learn love from God, who is Love. Now, you see GOD isn't self-centered. He loves others (unconditionally), and He always has our best interests at heart. This is one of the core things that fuels His pure beauty. And as His unique creatures, we must be like Him even in this regard.

The truth is, our world would be a better place if everyone could love others genuinely. You become a better person (as well as a better Christian) as you love others genuinely. By so doing, you make yourself available to ensure the well-being of folks God has strategically placed around your space, and you are willing to make necessary sacrifices to do them good.

Sacrifice is a language of true love. It is a channel through which any other form of sacrifice must be routed for potency and effectiveness. Paul made a very powerful statement: "And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing." (I Corinthians 13:3). Just imagine that! It doesn't matter the gravity of the sacrificial act, if it's not carried out from a standpoint of genuine love that genuinely seeks the welfare of the beneficiaries, it is just a big waste.‬‬

*Message*

Zion is God's special habitation, a glorious spiritual realm He enjoys sweet communion with His children. “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, Dwelling in Zion My holy mountain." (Joel‬ ‭3:17). Hence, since God is a King of joy and perfection, nothing imperfect and ugly is permitted around His habitation.

As a believer, you are now the habitation of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:22) and can be rightly regarded as a spiritual Zion. Since you host the King of Glory, nothing unpleasant is permitted to thrive around you.

Perhaps there is something going on in your life right now that is making you sad. Maybe there is a seed of sorrow the enemy has planted in your life (in your family, your home, business, etc), you shouldn't helplessly fold your arms and accept a reality that is not ordained for you.

Heaven, God's administrative headquarters, is devoid of ugliness. You also, being God's Temple here on earth, must insist on a reality adorned with bliss and beauty at all sides.

GOD is not glorified in sorrow but in joy and pleasantness. He is always ready to make you a source of Joy too.

*Message*

Since God created us in His image and likeness, the quality of our lives here on earth can be measured on the scale of how much we've conformed to Him. God is huge, and He is also the Spirit of Joy, as joy means a lot to Him.

Joy is an oxygen in the realm of God. God loves joy, and His ministers offer Him what He deserves with joy. When Isaiah encountered the LORD in the sixth chapter of his book, the atmosphere drips with palpable joy:

"And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” (vs 3).

Here on earth, God wants us to be always joyful too. In Luke chapter two, the angels who visited the shepherds keeping watch of their flocks in the field to announce the birth of Jesus, brought a joy-party to the earth realm. Amazingly, the human shepherds were not used to this sort of joy-party, which was the norm in Heaven.

The Holy Spirit is the Source of Joy, and He joyfully enjoys seeing us rejoicing irrespective of the texture of society. There is never a sad moment in the Presence of God in Heaven, and God wants us to always glow here on earth too.

Many can't relate yet to the reality of true joy, and it explains why they are not living the way God ordained them to. As you sustain an intimate knowledge of the Spirit of Joy (the Holy Spirit) to live a lifestyle of daily joy, your well-being won't be constrained by what is happening around you again.

Erotic spirits are like every other type of spirits when it comes to versatility in movements. An average spirit travels by the speed of light, but can't be everywhere, at all places, at the same time (only God has the configuration for being Omnipresent). So, the seductress, who is a slave to erotic spirits that power lust, is always forced to always be on the move, being found in different locations with the hope of seeing to the fall of different people belonging to different categories and statues.

So, there are potential victims they won't find "outside", but will come across them "in the open square". There are people whose paths won't cross with theirs due to their day-to-day routine, but it will on social media. Then, when you see these seductresses "lurking at every corner", they are not only attending different events with the aim of crossing the paths of different categories of victims, but you also see them patronizing different social media platforms (they know there are folks who are not on Instagram, but are on Facebook, etc).

Why is the seductress so restless? It's because the devil and his demons are restless. The devil and his cohorts are aware that their days are very short before being eternally damned in the lake of fire.

Hence, we were warned: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (‭I Peter 5 vs 8 ).

So the aim is to ruin as many people as possible as an act of revenge before their time here on earth is up. It is thus expected that they push the humans they have enslaved to work for them beyond normal even at the expense of their health. For instance, several prostitutes had to have sex with many men each day in spite of harming their bodies. But the devil doesn't care if your body gets damaged. Once you are no longer useful to him, he discards you like thrash and moves to someone else.


With God, you will always stand and emerge victorious in Jesus Name.

*Message*

Success is relative, but we have a measure of similarity as far as certain natural desired expectations are concerned, either individually or as a society. In other words, while the definition of success differs from person to person, and from society to society, we all aim towards certain specific results in life and destiny.

One thing we should always remember is that God, our Creator, is delightfully inclined toward helping us succeed in our endeavors. A good proof of this truth is that you find littered across the Scripture, light that guarantees success. One of them is Joshua‬ ‭1:8 -

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

You can also see Deuteronomy 28:13 where the LORD Himself promised to make His children the head and not the tail. It was established that for this to become a reality, you must "heed the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today, and be careful to observe them"

Success is pleasing God by doing His Will for your life. What the enemy does is to try as much as possible to influence your flesh to go contrary to the Will of God, and make you comfortable with results obtained outside of God's Will for you. The enemy wants you to live a substandard lifestyle because he has been subjected to an inferior lifestyle many years ago, and that's what he can relate to.

If the devil fails in preventing you from going against God's Will, you are victorious indeed.

*Message*

While there are several things to give your full attention and affection to, you will do yourself a lot of good for all of eternity if you invest your attention and affection in growing in love for God. Your day is productive if you are sure you took intentional steps towards growing in love with HIM, and you actually got closer to your Loving Creator.

We can barely do something eternally significant without the help of the Holy Spirit, and this is no exception. A lot of folks are trying to love God via the zeal of the flesh, but they keep getting exhausted and worn out, for obvious reasons. This is why many from different pages of history invented religion, trying to make use of religion to exhibit love to God - but they keep getting Him irritated instead.

There is a Way God wants to be loved. The first thing is to embrace His own Love - Jesus Christ, and the divine blessing of the Holy Spirit guides you on God's pathway of Love.

*Loving God and growing in love for Him is fulfilling. There is a very unique nourishment meant for the human soul that can only be obtained from sweet fellowship with the LORD in love. Before the end of today, be sure that you've grown some inches in your love walk with Jesus.*

TOPIC: Fruits Ahead Of Gifts

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22, 23

*Message*

The Christian faith can be an unending cycle of bliss and adventure. This is easily made possible via the availability of divine tokens embedded in the Life we received upon surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus. So, we receive the Holy Spirit and can give manifestations to His supernatural gifts:

"for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, [10] to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. [11] But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills." ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12:8‭-‬11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

However, as beautiful as these spectacular abilities and experiences are, just a few verses later, the Holy Spirit, through Apostle Paul, would take our attention towards the direction of "a more excellent way" (Vs 31) characterized by love and good characters.

The point is simple. Spiritual gifts are powerful, but the fruits of the Spirit should be given greater priority and importance, as they are more valuable than gifts.

As Christians, we are to be like Jesus Christ who excelled in character and love. One easy way to bring this into realization is by living a lifestyle that exhibits the fruits of the Spirit.

This is one of the major trademarks of a genuine child of God. When the fruits keep finding expression in you, you please God the more and get closer to Him.

TOPIC: Wisdom To Choose The Right Companions

*Message*


It's a good thing to enjoy being loved, being showered with love, and admired by others. A healthy human is meant to associate with others and have companions of different classes that they can do life and destiny with. Even Jesus had His closest companions (Luke 6:12-16; Matthew 17:1) who loved Him vehemently and would eventually die for the sake of His vision.

However, if we should be realistic, then we will agree that not everyone coming around us actually has good intentions towards us. Out of every twelve, there is usually at least one Judas Iscariot who is hanging around you for mischievous and selfish reasons. At times, such persons could have evil aims and can cause serious damage if they have the chance.

Judas came from Judea, just like Jesus, and because of this, no one would have expected him to be the one to betray Him. But hey, that's humans for you. The human mind is very deep. The average human is a great actor who can conveniently pretend to be what they are not. Someone can hate you vehemently and for many years, keep acting like your best friend and successfully pretend to have your best interest at heart when they are only after your downfall.

Hence, you need God's help when it comes to choosing those you will allow into the circle of your closest companions. You need wisdom in identifying a person beyond what they portray themselves to be, so you won't be ignorantly dealing with an enemy posing as a friend - which is very dangerous.

Prayer

LORD, give me the wisdom I need to see people beyond what they portray themselves to be outwardly.

Today, I want to turn your attention to the operations of prayer, channeling the discourse toward praying for your country. Let me start by encouraging you that prayer still works. I know a lot of people are not happy with how things are going in their respective societies, and it seems all hope is lost because they have given up on their country.

As a matter of fact, some would say, "But we've been praying for our nation for many years now and can't see any positive change whatsoever". In all things, the truth remains that God still answers prayers, and He can do things beyond our own human actions and strategies.

Now, you might live in a country where prayer is not an alien (like in Nigeria where I'm from). However, one of the reasons it appears as if our prayers are ineffective is that we are not praying the right type of prayers.

There are different types of prayer, and for truth, the kind of prayer we should focus on right now in our respective societies is "Prayer of Mercy".

*Many societies around the world have dipped themselves vehemently in unrighteousness and dark corruption. Hence, as believers, priests God has put in place to turn around the tides of nations, we must take a posture of humility and plead for mercy from the LORD.*

Fortunately, the LORD says: *"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14*

TOPIC: Maximising The Supernatural

"Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world" Galatians 4:3

*Message*

It is catastrophic to refuse to grow. If a child refuses to grow, the child is not only hurting his or her parents but is also exposing themselves to constant health dangers. This is one good reason the mother Eagle ensures her eaglets are pressured into quickly evolving from a baby lifestyle to a mature lifestyle as soon as possible. A baby Eagle won't only fail to maximize its potential in that immature state, but is also at risk of being preyed upon.

*As a child of God, God is delightful seeing you grow, and you hurt Him when you refuse to leave a babyhood level. But, you see, it's majorly for your own good to embrace growth. A baby believer will struggle to become all that God has destined them to be.*

Now, see this. The world has its corrupted systems (both physical and spiritual), principles (both physical and spiritual), and structures (both physical and spiritual). A person can't fulfill destiny when they operate solely under the world's restrictive and corrupt atmosphere. You must latch upon the offerings of the supernatural realm while still on earth to have an advantage over the earthly realm.

So, you see a fine Christian who is still a baby in Christ and is still operating under the restrictive boundaries of this corrupt world. Such will keep experiencing some forms of hardship in the things that matter. They will keep struggling for things that should easily be theirs only if they have grown into maturity in Christ, to the stature where they can easily operate from the supernatural realm.

God's Will for us is that the supernatural becomes natural for us. This is made possible as we decide to give ourselves fully to the LORD and allow Him to take control of all aspects of our lives. Give it all to JESUS, and no longer withhold anything.

So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face, And I have found you. (Proverbs 7:15)

The seductress is an expert in rousing self-importance in people by the way of flattering. The seductress wants you to feel very special, very important, very attractive, and very much needed, but it's all a lie. That particular seductress would have repeated the same lines to another prospective victim if he wasn't the one she met. And while the guy was feeling special and flattered, he never knew he was dealing with a deceitful spirit whose aim is to make you lose your guard after stirring you up emotionally to regard yourself beyond what you truly are.

Scripture considers flattery as disingenuous praise or insincere compliments crafted to manipulate or deceive others. It usually comes from self-interest or deceitful intentions, distorting the truth and leading folks astray.

Flattery has the ability to distract individuals from truth and righteousness, and the allure of false praise can lead a person to make unwise decisions and act contrary to their better judgment

"So I came out to meet you, Diligently to seek your face". Another translation: "You’re the very one I’ve looked for, the one I knew I wanted from the moment I saw you. That’s why I’ve come out here tonight, so I could meet a man just like you."

It's all a lie. The seductress only came out to seek any victim that would wander into her traps. With sweet and swelling words, a seductress can make you feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, the most handsome guy ever, the most intelligent person in the universe, the smartest person created by God, etc, all to mischievously induce some intoxicating chemicals of self-importance in you that can draw you towards the path of self-exaltation. At that point, you see yourself as a god, characterized by a mindset of "I can do whatever I want, it's after all my life." This can shut your mind from any reasonable thoughts about the consequence of the action you are about to take (or shut down the voice of the Holy Spirit if you're a Christian).

You see, the devil enjoys using words to make people feel too important and exalted. In that state, he can influence them to do something against existing right protocols. He tried the same thing with Jesus while tempting Him in the wilderness (Matthew 4). By saying "If you are the Son of God", he was trying to mischievously rouse the LORD into a corner of "You know you can do whatever you want to do". Should Jesus have allowed the flattery to enter His head, it would have been easy to make Him do what is wrong.

"Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." (Daniel 11:32).

Flattery is a very powerful tool in the hands of bad folks, and even at the end of the age, the kingdom of darkness will still rely vehemently on it to get many people corrupt. But the above verse made us realize the fact that the way to be fortified is to excavate strength from a deep knowing of God (an intimate relationship with Him).

You must get to that point where your self-worth and importance are defined by God's word alone and what He is saying about you. Treat nice compliments with uttermost wisdom, particularly when coming from people you are not 100 percent sure have your best interests at heart. For your own good, learn always to turn your back on exaggerated compliments. Never allow any compliments of any kind to make you start seeing yourself beyond what and who you are.

By God, ensure you have a healthy self-esteem that is not determined or influenced by external factors. In other words, whether or not people are saying lovely things about you, it doesn't change much about you - you always regard yourself as who God sees you as, and that's what truly matters.

"A man who flatters his neighbor Spreads a net for his feet." (Proverbs 29:5).

TOPIC: *What If My Life Didn't Turn Out Well?*

*Message*


The average human has a phobia of failure and hates to fail. Of course, there are various ways to explain the reason for this. First, originally, failure wasn't embedded in the DNA of humans, as we were destined to operate in the class of the Divine. Humans only started knowing what failure looks like after the Fall in the Garden of Eden; after sin re-engineered the DNA of mankind by quietly weakening our strength (Isaiah 14:12).

Also, we must admit that society finds failure repulsive, either directly or indirectly. Hence, failure attracts all manner of negativity that ensures misery.

The good thing is that you can be 100 percent certain that you will never end up a failure in life, as a child of God. You know it is never in God's Will that you should become miserable, and you can always trust Him who knows the end from the beginning (Revelation 1:8; 22:13).

*In Christ Jesus, yours is a glorious adventure, and your life will soar from glory to glory. Since you are seated with Christ in heaven places (Ephesians 2:6), it doesn't matter what the economy of your region is like, you will keep flourishing "like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruits in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." (Psalms 1:3).*

One of the things you will start doing is to go into society and show love to those folks whom society has labeled a failure. You will exert influence over them and let the glory of God upon you drive them also into God's kingdom. There, they will throw off their prison clothes and put on their destined identity - kings and priests (Revelation 1:6).

Prayers
In the name of Jesus, since it's settled that I won't end up a failure in life, I'm empowered to change the destiny of folks around me whom society has labeled a failure.

GOD is a Great God, at all sides and in all ways. He not only does great things, but He thinks great thoughts, and He has great plans for every single one of His children, including you. In His great plans for us, it has been settled that our latter shall be greater than our previous and current realities (Job 8:7; Haggai 2:9).

Since God's greatest desire for you is to be great in His sight, You should not settle for less in all of your endeavors. You should not shortchange God's dealings with you for humans' applause and recognition. No contrary offer from humans can be compared with the bliss of being attested by God Himself as you flourish in His perfect Will for your life (Matthew 3:17).

The Will of God your Creator is that you should be the head and always at the top of your game - in your industry, in your calling/assignment, in your career, etc. Hence, you must never embrace mediocrity and complacency at all.

It is important to always remember that it is GOD who makes people great with ease (without having to burn yourself out). You will agree with me that there are several so-called successful people out there today who attained their heights at the expense of other important things - sacrificing their family, health, etc. But when God is the one placing you in the position of the Greats, you are bound to enjoy bliss all around you, and won't have to experience sorrow from other important things neglected.

Dear Lord, I hold on to Your great promises of greatness for my life, and I'm always alive to my dominion reality.

*Message*

*Galatians 4:1 is yet another truth that should propel you to embrace maturity as quickly as possible. Before coming to Christ as you surrendered your heart to Him and embraced Him as Lord and Savior, you have been a slave to sin and self and satan. As a born-again Christian, you obtained freedom through the finished works of Christ upon which your faith is built. However, remaining a babe in the faith is akin to settling for another form of slavery, as you won't be able to attain the heights and realities awaiting your destiny in a childish version of yourself.*

After putting your faith in Christ Jesus, you get started off on the level of babyhood in the faith. A baby does what he or she wants without shame, and we ignore their babyish acts because we know they are not yet mature. But then, there are responsibilities you can't entrust into the hands of a baby.

However, after some time, the baby is expected to grow into adulthood and will be punished if he or she still displays a babyish act. Same here with the faith. A baby Christian is expected to grow into maturity after some time and should grow from childhood to sonship.

And the way you identify a mature believer is through their submission to the government of the Holy Spirit.

In other words, such a mature believer only do the things God wants them to do, and not what they feel like doing (unlike a baby Christian who only acts based on their own feelings or interests). This level depicts true liberty that extends to all of eternity.
