TOPIC: The Light Was Good

Genesis 1:4 ‬
And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.


*Message*

God didn't have to scoop so low to tackle darkness headlong - He simply spoke light into existence, and the problem of darkness was settled. Then scripture notes that God saw the light He has brought into existence by the Word, and upon closer inspection, the light was good. In other words, the light was genuine, in that, it was potent enough to drive away darkness. Good light is light potent enough to chase darkness out of a space.

*As Christians, we know that "the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;" (Isaiah 60:2). And incredibly, just as it was at the beginning, God isn't interested in focusing on the darkness, but His strategy is thus: "But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you." This was made possible by the provisions of eternal life (through faith in Christ Jesus), for the life He offers is the light of men (John 1:4).*

Nevertheless, for many Christians, God can't attest that your light is "good" yet because it hasn't been serving the purpose of light at all. When darkness still reigns supreme around you, while you are a carrier of light, the fact remains that your light is not yet "good" in God's perspective. Hence, you've got to make your light good by rising up to shine the light grafted upon the eternal life you received by faith in Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 60:1‬

*Message*

When God was going to chase darkness away in Genesis chapter 1, He didn't need to spend a sweat - He only spoke the Word. "Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light." (Genesis 1:3). That Word, God the Son, was also described thus in John 1:4 - "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." As a Christian, that life (eternal life) has been stamped into your spirit, and you must maximize the God-kind of life you've received to shine the light in a dark world.

Matthew 5:14 - “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

John 1:5 - And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

*God is very much aware of the evil works of darkness in our current world, and He is displeased seeing His creation suffering under the hard pangs of the devil. But since God now has you around, He still doesn't want to spend a sweat - He is speaking a word "My child, arise and shine, and darkness will flee."*

*Message*

Jesus gave us the fortitude to oust darkness by shining the divine Holy Ghost breathed light authoritatively. At Calvary, Jesus disgraced and defeated Evil, and turned the word 'evil' into 'Live'. In John 1:4, the scriptures say: "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men."

*When you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, you become a new unique breed that has a nature that's above Evil, and the light of Christ in you illuminates your entire being (mind, thoughts, conscience, habits, characters, etc) making it easy to walk in the narrow path of holiness and righteousness that is devoid of evil, and that makes you immune from any evil work of darkness around you.*

Imagine how beautiful our world would be if every one of us decided to accept Jesus Christ and embrace His loving directives. If you have embraced Jesus Christ and accepted his death, suffering, resurrection, and ascension, please preach Him to the world. Remember, the more people accept Him truly, the less evil the world will witness. By preaching the gospel, you keep spreading divine light that chases darkness far away.

TOPIC: Unseating Darkness (2)

I John 3:8 ‬
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

*Message*

Lucifer was chased from Heaven and was thrown into the world (Revelations chapter 14) after becoming Darkness (he could no longer find a place in God's realm of light), prompting an Angel to pitifully lament how ugly the fate of the world would thereafter be: ".... woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath...." (Revelation 14:12).

Darkness became rooted in this part of the divide when it found its way into the nature of humanity after our first parents (Adam and Eve) disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3). The result was that the good nature of humanity became perverted, and darkness began to thrive as evil became part of us.

Evil is not a 21st-century thing. Evil didn't start in the 5th century, nor in the 10th, nor in the 4th - but it has always been here with us after those ugly incidents, millions of years ago. Evil had been on earth while the earth was still very young. Consider the scripture that said:

"Unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous." 1 John 3:12

*God isn't pleased with the terrible consequences of the works of darkness being suffered by humans. Hence, He, even from the onset, offered a superb solution to disgrace the evil works of darkness. "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." (I John 3:. In Christ Jesus, you are God's son, and you should arise to destroy the works of darkness too.*

TOPIC: Unseating Darkness

Genesis 1:2‬
[2] The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

*Message*

Obviously, darkness is vehemently palpable in our world, sponsoring a lot of suffering and chaos worldwide. Each hour, an evil occurrence is likely to have happened somewhere, and it seems dark works of the devil have remained glued to our environment. But what brought about darkness in the first place?

In the Book of Genesis, when God created all things, it is glaring that He never desires the universe to experience anything that resembles evil. Actually, evil came on the strength of darkness, when Lucifer, the beautifully-created archangel, chose to rebel against God (read Isaiah 14:12-23). From the very moment he contemplated such rebellious thought, he was transformed into Darkness. He became the devil - evil personified, which explained why he was continually referred to as the 'evil one' in various parts of scriptures (Matthew 5:37, Matthew 6:13, Matthew 13:38, Luke 11:4, John 17:15, Ephesians 6:16, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, 1 John 2:13, 1 John 5:18).

*But you see, God didn't have to negotiate or contend with darkness, He simply commanded light to come to the scene. "Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light." (Genesis 1:3 NKJV). Once the light comes, darkness will always flee - you are the light of the world!*

TOPIC: Opportunity And Opposition

I Corinthians 16:9 ‬
For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

*Message*

In I Corinthians 16:9, Apostle Paul noted: "For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." This points to something - opportunity and opposition. Opportunities and oppositions go together like bread and butter, and you must be strong enough to handle what awaits you on the other side after entering the door of an opportunity.

*If you check the archives of history, down to our own contemporary time, you will keep seeing how life doesn't simply hand people success on a platter of gold. Rather, successful people usually contend with adversities, then overcome their adversities, and will thus have the fortitude to outlast the opposition to remain in a successful state.*

Don't feel odd when opposition starts coming after entering a door of opportunity - that is the standard thing. When the adversities become more intense, you should get more excited, knowing you are closer to enjoying greater doors of opportunities that will help empower you towards destiny fulfillment. To outlast oppositions, make sure you keep having unwavering faith in God, and keep contending for His favor.

TOPIC: Suffering Rejection

John 1:11
"He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him."

*Message*

Rejection is often associated with failure - and it sorely hurts. But you must not let rejection stop you, because a "no" today can mean a "not now" that can eventually become a "yes" tomorrow. A person only becomes a failure when they decide to see failure as the end - that shouldn't be you.

*Even our Lord Jesus, the most splendid Man ever, also experienced rejection at different times (millions of people worldwide are still willingly rejecting Him even today despite the sacrificial work He did for them). ‭John 1:11 reveals - "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him." That hurts! But He never quit! If He had quit at verse 11, He would have missed out on verse 12: "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name"*

He experienced rejection somewhere, He simply went to others who were able to ascertain His value and accepted Him graciously. Don't feel like a failure because you suffered rejection somewhere. You should always remember that several people somewhere actually need what you have, as what you have is crucial for their success. When you encounter rejection, the wisest thing to do is to quickly shake it off and move on to the next thing. As long as you refuse to quit, success is closer than you think. Amen.

TOPIC: Your Destiny Is In The Hands Of God

*Message*

There will always be diverse voices that feel entitled to having a say over your destiny, and they will always say what they feel like saying. There are mischievous folks who will claim you can't amount to anything in life, but that's just their opinion. You must start believing what God is saying about you over what everyone else seems to be saying.

*Perhaps, you reading this right now may have suffered from a terrible childhood or failed marriage. But see what God's word is telling you: "forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead." (Philippians 3:13). No one has what it takes to speak things which are not as though they are over your life - only God has the power to speak into existence His will for your life.*

Don't afford any human the fortitude to have the power to determine your destiny, because no human created you in the first place. You were created by God and He has great plans for your life. All you have to do is to line up your will with God's Will and you will be empowered to accomplish what normally is humanly impossible.

*God still helps us to succeed if we are willing to partner with His graciousness. Make sure you are busy with something meaningful, and He will show up to pour His oil of favor on the works of your hands to blossom and flourish in an unprecedented manner. If what you are currently doing is not yielding good profits as desired, He will show you a better way.*

It is wisdom to obey all of His instructions, even if they seem illogical. He has great plans for you, well beyond all you can think or imagine. He will show up in your life and do the things only He can do. That's the God we serve for you!

*Message*

In our ever-busy contemporary world, a lot of folks are so busy that they find no time to take good care of themselves, all at the expense of their health and longevity. But even Jesus, who had a greater assignment and was much busier, told His disciples: “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” This was the same Jesus who expressed the urgency of His assignment when He said "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work." (John 9:4)‬

*He showed us wisdom in ensuring a proper balance between work and rest. The ever-busy Jesus knew the importance of rest, and it explained why He was able to do so much in the space of 3 and a half years. Jesus never suffered burnout or any health-related issues, not only because of the provisions of the supernatural but also because He didn't break the protocols of bodily rest.*

As we move higher in life, it is expected that we have greater responsibilities that desire to demand greater time and energy. You will be wise to put structures in your life that will help ensure you won't be constantly drained by people, your career, your calling, etc. Work very hard, but relax very hard too. Always schedule a quality time to rest, play, and have good sleep.

TOPIC: Operate From Your Real Home

‭John 14:11


Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

*Message*

God is your Source and is thus your destined true Home. Even Jesus, God the Son, left a great pattern for the rest of us when He was about His earthly ministry. While relating with society, He was doing all things from the standpoint of "I am in the Father, and the Father in Me." (John 14:11). His very first recorded sermon started with "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me..." (Luke 4:18).

*He is God who operated from God, and it explains why He was able to achieve 100 percent success in all that pertains to destiny. He was always full of the Holy Spirit, led by the Spirit, and doing His stuff in the power of the Spirit. His submission to the Father and acceptance of the Holy Ghost empowerment has shown how we must be always connected to Heaven every single moment of life on this side of the divide.*

It was Jesus's habit to go worship and pray in private. He receives constant guidance from Heaven to know what to do next. For instance, it was after coming back from a time of prayer that He announced that it was time to go to another city (Mark 1:35-38). In another instance, after prayers, He received light as touching the selection of His Apostles. Make sure you don't take crucial steps without getting enlightenment from your true Home - God

Some time ago, I saw a post that asked men to choose from a variety of qualities and features they would consider in their selection of a lady to wife. Almost all the men ignored qualities like "decency", "homely", "respectful and submissive", etc, and were prioritizing stuff like "banging body", "big buttocks", "large breasts", etc. And yet again, it revealed the reason for the high rate of bad and failed marriages being recorded in a woke generation.

You see, when you decide to approach a divinely-crafted institution like marriage as driven by carnal human lust, you should be ready to "enjoy" enough headaches and heartaches. Marriage is God's idea, and if you will enjoy it, then you MUST do it God's way.

God's way is His attempt to utilize the marriage institution as one of His strategies to empower you to be all He has destined you to be from eternity. Hence, He wants to be involved in your choice of a partner (you allow Him to connect you to someone who has the configuration to be an adequate helper for your destiny fulfillment).

When you are obsessed with marrying based on physical considerations, you will most likely lose out on the appropriate person God has strategically placed around you who has what it really takes to be your helper for destiny, as the person might not tick the boxes being sponsored by your carnal desires. When you then marry someone else solely based on physical considerations (their height, body type, complexion, etc) they might not have what it takes to be a suitable helper for you, and you will likely suffer dearly for it.

Actually, as an imperfect human, you don't know what you want and what's best for you - only God knows the type of woman that will really guarantee you marital bliss. After marrying the perfect Will of God for you, the bliss you will enjoy will dwarf anything physical your flesh lusts for. When you see failed and bad marriages today, where the guy simply married the woman based on her body type, it was because reality soon set in, and they discovered marriage is well beyond your carnal cravings.

When I see unmarried guys who ditch a lady who will definitely guarantee them a happy marriage and life just because she doesn't have some physical stuff they crave (big buttocks, breasts, tall, etc), I just pity them for their folly! After marrying the wrong woman because of physical stuff and she starts exuding headaches and problems, even that her "banging body" that made you marry her will begin to irritate you.

In this same world, you see men who, for instance, say "My kind of woman is the chubby ones" or "I like them petite", and a few weeks after marrying her (or after they started having sex as dating couples), you see him craving for another woman that has an exact opposite body type. This shows that as a fallen creature, you don't really know what you want. The type of woman your carnal desires lust after (which you think is what you like) was actually influenced by your environment (if you had grown up somewhere else where the average woman has the exact opposite body type, that's what you would have grew to "like" )

So, marry a woman based on God's leading. God connects us with a partner who has the configurations to help us become all He has destined us to be, and we should not allow carnality to push us to reject His gift. If you marry a woman simply based on physical considerations, what then happens if something unexpected should occur to her that affects that physical feature you were lusting after?

TOPIC: God's Love Versus People's Love

I John 3:16 ‬

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

*Message*

A lot of Christians are making the mistake of dealing with God based on the ideologies and thoughts formed via interactions with fellow humans. You see, it is true that imperfection resides with mankind (a lot of humans aren't displaying the best behavior there is due to the consequences of the Fall), but much more, God is above us all. Hence, one of the things you must ensure is not to confuse God's love with people's love.

It is true that the love of people increases with performance and decreases with mistakes - but that's not so with God's love. It is wrong to think that God's love for you would be stronger if your faith was stronger. It is wrong to think that God's love would be deeper if your actions were better.

*God's love is unwavering, and He loves you just the way you are. However, God's love won't allow Him to leave you the way you are, but He will always reach out to ensure you keep becoming a better version of yourself. His love will ensure He takes you to His fountain of living waters where you are purged of all filth (greed, immorality, bitterness, etc), which won't always be pleasant. The end goal is that you become like Jesus, the best of yourself.*

*Message*

Jesus's cute heart was always peaceful, and it's a good thing to imitate too. In Luke 8, there was a nasty situation that brought His team close to destruction in the middle of the sea. Jesus's disciples were so afraid, so much so that seemingly strong men started shouting for fear of the storm. Guess what Jesus was doing? Sleeping through the storm! Jesus wasn't one whose heart would suffer a breakdown attack due to a piece of seemingly bad news. Imitate this too. Let your heart remain peaceful even if you hear or see something nasty and very unpleasant.

*In Luke 22, when some fierce-looking soldiers came hunting for Him in the cover of darkness, the situation was potent enough to get anyone scared, but not Jesus. His heart remained calm and peaceful. Even when Peter drew his sword to fight, Jesus was still calmly healing His enemy (doing ministry in the midst of a big issue that's going to get you killed!). When your enemies are attacking, just remain calm. Even in such precarious circumstances, the LORD will open a window to still do good and get Him glorified.*

When one of His most trusted friends, Peter, denied Him, not once but thrice (in the space of minutes), what happened to His heart? Was His heart broken and shattered that He won't trust anyone again? Never, His heart remained peaceful! Did He harboured grudges against Peter in His heart? His sacred heart will never go such a route! If trusted allies betrayed you, don't get heartbroken. Remain peaceful, and all will be for your own good.

TOPIC: Jesus's Cute Heart

I Peter 1:19 ‬

*Message*

Jesus has a cute pure heart, and as His disciples, we must pant after becoming like Him. In Luke 8, it was revealed that He was cared for by women. Despite the great love the women had for Him, He was never accused of lustful thoughts.

*" and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities—Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons, [3] and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance." (Luke 8:2-3).*

There was a time when a woman was anointing Him and using her hair to wipe His feet. But it wasn't an issue whatsoever, for His heart was pure and He only acted purely. How are we sure of this? First, Apostle Peter who walked with Him for several years admitted that He was "as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

Another of His closest disciples, John the Beloved, confirmed that "...in Him there is no sin" (I John 3:5).

*In your dealings with members of the opposite gender, make sure you imbibe a pure heart as Jesus, and give no space for lust of whatever measure.*

TOPIC: Reaping The Dividends Of Networking (Part 2)

‭I Samuel 17:57

[57] Then, as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand.


*Message*

When Samuel anointed David as king (1 Samuel 16), it was stamped in the spiritual realm, but it wouldn't materialize in the physical world should he have sat comfortably without taking certain strategic necessary steps. The throne seems far away from his reach - his family wasn't prominent nor connected to the high class in society, plus the current king had sons already set to succeed him for generations.

If David must be a king, he must network with the right people who can play different roles (directly or indirectly) in making this a reality. David was smart to start reaching out. He went to the battlefield in the next chapter, he networked with some of the soldiers who informed him of the opportunity on ground, and from one man to the other until he eventually got the audience of King Saul.

*The soldiers David talked with don't have what it takes to directly help David become king quite alright, but they have information that could eventually get him to stand before the king who needed what he had at that point. The seemingly inconsequential person you know may have information that could connect you to the right person who truly needs what you carry. From Saul, David could connect with Jonathan, who also played a sensitive role in David's ascension to the throne. In all things, David was strategic about networking and relationships, and it paid off greatly.*

*Message*

There are different kinds of people in your life as things stand now. There are those who are already aware that you have something they need, and there are other people in your life who are not aware that you have something they need. Hence, you must be intentional about relationships and make it easy for people to see that you have something they really need.

Now, it has been said that every person is only four people away from the person they need. To bring this home, if you have certain things you believe should have made you successful, but it seems as if nothing is happening, it's simply because you have yet to meet the right person. Nevertheless, the right person is closer to you than you think - they are only four persons away!

*If you know Person A, who knows Person B, who knows Person C, who knows the right person you need to get to, you will reap the dividends of networking. Let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you, and you will get to your destiny. When you meet the right person eventually, you will discover success isn't really difficult. It starts with reaching out.*

*Message*

The best way to live is to pattern your life after Jesus, and you should start now. Study Jesus from the scripture and by the Spirit and begin to think and act like Him. His priorities should govern your actions, and His passions should drive your decisions. Your behavior should be affected by His love, and you will definitely become a transformed person (everyone around will notice that you are not the same person they used to know).

*You sure will become like an angel living amongst humans. Your family and colleagues will see something new, and the difference will be very glaring. Thinking and acting like Jesus will influence how you treat the helpless people around you, as you will stop treating them the way you normally do before. When you live life this way, you will radiate unquantifiable joy that will become an endearing sweet fragrance.*

Jesus prayed grace towards His enemies - when you begin to think and act like Him, your enemies also will receive more grace and mercy. Your health and general well-being will be positively affected. Jesus lived a sweet life devoid of worries, and it was impossible to be sick that way. Living like Jesus will bury mood swings, hot temper, lack of sleep, etc. This is a sweet way to live life.

*Message*

The giants of faith we read of in the Bible (and even those we see around us today) are also humans like us who experienced issues they detest, and they also have questions like "Why?". Apostle Paul, a giant in the faith, was also one of those who didn't hesitate to ask God "Why?" It's okay to ask God questions. It's unhealthy to keep acting like all is fine when it's not.

So, Paul was experiencing some unpleasant stuff that he believed a devoted man like himself should be free from, and he kept asking the Lord why this just wouldn't go away. "Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me." (II Corinthians 12:. But the LORD responded: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

The Lord's answer ensured he started seeing these issues in a positive light thereafter - *"Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."*

*You should imitate this man. If there is any unpleasant stuff that seems to remain glued to you despite your prayers and acts of faith, just ask the Lord why, and His response will take away the frustrations and discouragement you have been experiencing. In all, it will be glaring that the Lord is making all things work together for your good.*

*Message*

The problem with many is an ignorance problem. When a person truly knows God's plan for them, it becomes easy to not permit things that are contrary to what God is doing. When situations aren't sweet and desirable, they won't be quick to get discouraged, frustrated or overwhelmed.

Listen, it doesn't matter how much of a faith or prayer person you are, there are certain things you can't really pray or speak away. Your faith therefore should hinge on God's word, such as in Jeremiah 29:11 and Romans 8:28. You must believe at all times that God is in the control room working all things for your good because He has good thoughts towards you at all times.

*God permits certain things we don't find cool because He wants to use those things to produce in us the nature of Jesus. But when we know (i.e. it becomes a truth we really believe) that all things have been conditioned to work together for our good, we will always rejoice in the face of seemingly tough situations. I want you to look at whatever tough issues you've been experiencing, and speak to it: "I know you are working together for my good".*

One of the core factors that determines your success in life is being connected with the right people. However, many times, you are the one who must step out there to meet those who will help you succeed, as they won't always come to you while sitting majestically at a spot. We must know that success doesn't usually knock on people's doors - you must go out and find it to claim it.

*See even Jesus. When He came down here, He didn't simply sit somewhere but was going around, towns and villages, marketplaces, and religious centers, doing what He has been empowered by God to do. You've got to go to where the right people are and give expression to what God has blessed you with, so you can create connections that will lead to your success.*

If there's anything whatsoever holding you back from reaching out to others and detaching from your comfort zone, you must declare a state of emergency over it (hey, we are talking about you living a successful life here). Your dreams and visions must be stronger than your fears if you want to succeed in life, and it's very important to not forget this.

TOPIC: Creating Structures To Hear God In A Busy World

Matthew 7:7 ‬
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

*Message*

In an ever-busy world where we have so many things to do (both legitimate ones and the unnecessary baggage we ignorantly cleave), we must be intentional and purposeful if we indeed want to keep hearing from God. You must be led to create viable and potent structures that will ensure you are always connected with the heart of the Divine over your life and all that concerns you.

You will need a regular time and place and make sure you are consistent with it. Spirits are attracted to consistency, as it is a loud voice that sends some powerful messages to the realm of the spirit about the stature of the person involved. Some prefer mornings, while some evenings - only ensure you get a conducive time and place and be disciplined enough to be consistent.

At your chosen time and place, take time to offer the incense of thanksgiving and praise to the Lord, adoring Him for who He is, and giving Him thanks for what He has done for you. Then take time to lift your voice in prayers and express your heart in sincerity and truth. Afterward, spend more time reading the Bible, and be patient with each verse you encounter.

*One thing is sure. Before leaving, your spirit would have received downloads of God's Will for you, as He is a Father who enjoys speaking to His children. How long should you stay with God? The time you spend with God should last long enough for you to say what is in your heart, and for God to say what is in His heart.*

Having discovered all of these, a day should not go by without hearing something new from the LORD your God and Source.

Grant me the wisdom and discipline, dear Lord, to create spiritual living altars that enable me to know Your Will per time.

Colossians 3:13‬

*Message*

Jesus is no fan of sin (sin stinks) but He is always willing to forgive us whenever we sin and repented genuinely. In John 13 when He was washing His disciples' feet, it's a demonstration of love that displays His commitment to them in spite of their imperfections. He is aware of our imperfections, and He has made provisions to right our wrongs even before we could think of doing something wrong.

We are called to imitate Jesus. Like the LORD, we must also be willing to forgive others when wronged, even before they carried it out. Relationship flourishes when the innocent are merciful. Since the mercy of Jesus precedes the imperfections and errors of His disciples, our mercy must precede the errors of others too. When their mistakes get to the scene, our mercy and forgiveness are already right ahead.

*Obviously, Jesus's immediate companions never doubted His genuine love (love that is not dependent on what you do or failed to do). In the same vein, as Christians, those around us must have no doubt that we are creatures of love. Remember, because Christ has forgiven us, we should also forgive others when hurt.*

TOPIC: Something Sweet To Ponder On

I Timothy 2:5‬
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

*Message*

Jesus, God the Son, is the only Mediator between God and mankind, and this has exposed, yet again, the great priority the Godhead placed on seemingly insignificant creatures like us. Only humans have this privilege - not other spirits, animals, etc. See the great things the LORD has done just to ensure our salvation!

Jesus paid our debt - all of mankind joined together in our billions would never have the fortitude to pay a part of it. He paid all our debts and willingly became the necessary sacrifice, powered by love. He did all of these and many more because of love, and not because He was cajoled or forced to (neither did He lay down His life for us for selfish ambitions). If you were to be the only sinner on earth, Jesus would still have died for you. Wow!

*If you are yet to receive the gift of salvation Jesus is offering you, today, you should do so. It takes no hard labor on your end - only believe and receive. And I should tell you that it doesn't matter how far you think you've gone in your sins, Jesus would rather drown in your place than fold His hands and watch you drown alone. He will (and has) always make efforts to save you from yourself, from sin, and the cruel satan. Accept the gift Jesus is offering you today.*

In previous posts, I've explained that a correct spouse is a man or woman who has the configurations to help you fulfill destiny and become all God has ordained you to be from eternity past in your marriage institution.

Now, let me tell you that the best place to come across a spouse who will be an adequate helper for your destiny is within the boundaries of God's Will for your life.

Remember, you came from inside God, and He has arranged your eternal destiny before He sent you to earth. Hence, He has already planned how your life will go, including crucial things like the type of spouse that will suit His plan for your life.

You see, when it comes to God's Will for a spouse, it is not necessarily a particular person, but a configuration or feature that can suit your destiny. Then, any member of the opposite gender around that has that configuration or feature, God connects you both.

If that person stubbornly refuses to agree to marry you (or something like death took them away), God simply looks for another person who has that configuration that suits your destiny and connects both of you for marriage.

So, if you want to meet a correct spouse who is consistent with God's Will to be your husband/wife, take note of these two things:

1. Be Where God wants you to be per time:
What church or fellowship does God want you to be at this point of life?

Which office are you supposed to be working currently, in God's Will?

Which meetings, events, platforms, associations, training centers, etc, is your spirit leading you to in this phase of life?

There are chances that you will meet the correct spouse at those places; because God's Will (your future spouse) is closer to you than you think.

2. Occupy Yourself With What He Wants You To Be Busy With

Occupy yourself with the assignments God has given you, and He will take care of the rest.

Adam was occupied with what God had given him to do in the Garden of Eden, and God decided to bring him a wife as part of His blessings.

Jesus said, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33

When you are preoccupied with promoting God's agenda within your sphere, other things, including a correct spouse, will be added.

God is much more interested in you marrying the right person than you are about yourself. Hence, operate from a place of rest, and you won't miss the right person.

*Message*

If you haven't been studying the Bible consistently, you don't really know what you've been missing all this while. You've been missing out on delicious delicacies good for your spirit, soul, and body. One of the beautiful things about the scripture is that you will find the solution for every problem you encounter in life therein.

For many of us, when unexpected stuff comes our way, we are quick to turn to a friend, a counselor, or even our spiritual leaders for help. But there's a limit to the help you can receive from human sources. In fact, when the issues are much more sophisticated than what those people can solve, they direct you back to God. Fortunately, you can always know God's Will by His words. You can always apply biblical principles to live the life of an overcomer.

*You should have a realistic mindset when it comes to God's word. The Bible is not just some abstract words, but divine knowledge you should live by. Your life should revolve around the dictates of the Bible. In 1 Thessalonians 2:13, Paul stated that the "word continues to work in you who believe". The word of God works!*
