Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(14th January, 2025)* By *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: What Should You Do with the Fire? Scripture: Acts 2:1-4 (NKJV) "[1] When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. [3] Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." *Message:* As the previous year came to a close and we stepped into the new one, it is common to see many individuals and groups engaging in retreats aimed at catching fresh fire for the year ahead. This is admirable. However, if the purpose of a thing is not understood, abuse or underutilization becomes inevitable. Divine fire from heaven is a precious resource designed to fulfill eternal purposes. Because of its significance, heaven releases it with great care, as wastage is unacceptable in the heavenly realm. Therefore, one of the key ways to position yourself to receive this fire is to understand how heaven expects it to be utilized. You must resolve to use God’s fire to expand His kingdom, not for selfish or carnal purposes. Consider this: the fire received on the Day of Pentecost empowered ordinary fishermen and tax collectors to expand God’s kingdom, turning the world upside down in their time. When heaven entrusts someone with its fire, it places them in a unique position to attract supernatural resources—spiritual gifts and specialized anointings—that enable them to make a transformative impact for Christ. Prayers: Father, in the Name of Jesus, invest fresh fire in me for the advancement of Your kingdom. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(13th January, 2025)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Never Give Complacency a Chance This Year Deuteronomy 32:11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings. *Message* By now, you should understand that between the moment you receive a vision from God and its manifestation, there will be numerous uncertainties and challenges that may tempt you to quit. Even if others give up, passion will keep you moving forward. When you are genuinely passionate about your dreams and visions, no price tag will deter you. However, complacency can be a significant threat to passion. A mother eagle instinctively knows that she cannot wait for her young to leave the nest and learn to fly on their own because they won't. The comfort and ease of their daily provisions in the nest discourage them from stepping out. To prepare them for life, the mother eagle pushes them out of their comfort zone. While this may seem harsh, it is an essential step to teach them to fly and fulfill their destinies. To become all that God has destined you to be this year, you must consistently take steps beyond your comfort zone. Once you have mastered your strength zone, carry it with you as you confront unfamiliar territories. Do not fear stepping into new challenges. Remember, complacency kills passion and reduces potential to mediocrity. Prayers Have you abandoned a dream due to a lack of passion? Ask the Lord for strength and renewal to revive it. Further Reading Nehemiah 2:5 And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.”

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(12th January, 2025)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Achieving Greatness In 2025 "And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today, and be careful to observe them" Deuteronomy 28:13 *Message* GOD is a Great God, at all sides and in all ways. He not only does great things, but He thinks great thoughts, and He has great plans for every single one of His children, including you. In His great plans for us, it has been settled that our latter shall be greater than our previous and current realities (Job 8:7; Haggai 2:9). Since God's greatest desire for you is to be great in His sight, You should not settle for less in all of your endeavors. You should not shortchange God's dealings with you for humans' applause and recognition. No contrary offer from humans can be compared with the bliss of being attested by God Himself as you flourish in His perfect Will for your life (Matthew 3:17). The Will of God your Creator is that you should be the head and always at the top of your game - in your industry, in your calling/assignment, in your career, etc. Hence, you must never embrace mediocrity and complacency at all. It is important to always remember that it is GOD who makes people great with ease (without having to burn yourself out). You will agree with me that there are several so-called successful people out there today who attained their heights at the expense of other important things - sacrificing their family, health, etc. But when God is the one placing you in the position of the Greats, you are bound to enjoy bliss all around you, and won't have to experience sorrow from other important things neglected. This can be your experience this year if you walk with the LORD in spirit and truth. God bless you in Jesus Name. Prayer Dear Lord, I hold on to Your great promises of greatness for my life, and I'm always alive to my dominion reality. Further Reading Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(11th January 2025)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Maximize The Supernatural This Year Scripture: "Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world." – Galatians 4:3 *Message* It is catastrophic to refuse to grow. When a child refuses to grow, they not only hurt their parents but also expose themselves to constant health dangers. This is why the mother eagle ensures her eaglets are pressured into evolving quickly from a baby lifestyle to a mature one. A baby eagle, if it remains in its immature state, not only fails to maximize its potential but also risks being preyed upon. As a child of God, it brings God great delight to see you grow. However, you hurt Him when you refuse to leave the level of spiritual babyhood. Ultimately, spiritual growth is for your benefit. A baby believer will struggle to become all that God has destined them to be. This truth is something you must keep in mind throughout this year. Now, consider this: the world operates with corrupted systems (both physical and spiritual), principles (both physical and spiritual), and structures (both physical and spiritual). You cannot fulfill your destiny if you are confined solely to the world's restrictive and corrupt atmosphere. To rise above this, you must rely on the resources of the supernatural realm, even while living on earth, to gain an advantage over the limitations of the earthly realm. Take, for instance, a Christian who remains spiritually immature and continues to operate under the restrictive boundaries of the corrupt world. Such a person will often encounter unnecessary struggles in areas that should otherwise come easily to them. However, when we grow into maturity in Christ, we reach a stature where we can effortlessly operate from the supernatural realm, bypassing these earthly struggles. God's will for us is that the supernatural becomes natural to us. This is only possible when we fully surrender ourselves to the Lord and allow Him to take control of every aspect of our lives. Surrender everything to Jesus—hold nothing back. Prayers LORD, help me embrace the lifestyle of the supernatural. Further Reading "Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection." – Hebrews 6:1 (NKJV)

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(10th January, 2025)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: What If My 2025 Didn't Turn Out Well? Scripture: "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." Joshua 1:8 *Message* The average person has a deep fear of failure and despises the thought of failing. There are several reasons for this. First, failure was never part of humanity's original design. We were created to operate in the class of the Divine, destined for dominion and excellence. It was only after the Fall in the Garden of Eden that failure became a part of human experience, as sin re-engineered our DNA and weakened our inherent strength (Isaiah 14:12). Additionally, society often views failure with disdain, whether openly or subtly. Failure tends to attract negativity and condemnation, resulting in feelings of misery and inadequacy. However, as a child of God, you can have complete confidence that failure is not your portion in 2025. God's will for your life is never misery or defeat. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the One who knows the end from the beginning (Revelation 1:8; 22:13). In Christ Jesus, your life is a glorious journey, destined to move from one level of glory to another. Since you are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), the challenges of your environment or the state of the economy cannot hinder your flourishing. You are like a tree planted by rivers of water, bearing fruit in its season. Your leaf will not wither, and whatever you do will prosper (Psalms 1:3). Prayers In the name of Jesus, I declare that failure has no place in my life. I am empowered to transform the destinies of those around me whom society has labeled as failures. Further Reading: "And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today, and are careful to observe them." Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(9th January 2025)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Soar Past Your Hindrances Scripture: "Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world." — Galatians 4:3 *Message:* There is a lifestyle that keeps people in bondage under the elements of the world. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many across different parts of the world. Such a life is helplessly constrained by the world's limited systems and structures, making it impossible to explore beyond the surface. Can you imagine an eagle, bound in chains and confined to a cage? Such a bird would grow miserable with each passing day. Despite its innate ability and energy to soar through the skies, it remains helplessly restricted by the chains and the cage. Similarly, every human created by God possesses the innate potential to rise above the earth's flawed systems and structures. Yet, many remain bound by these "elements of the world." If you are determined to enter your promised land this year, you must take this truth to heart. In many parts of the world, economic policies are deliberately designed to hinder the average person from experiencing true prosperity. For many, despite their inner drive to fulfill a divine purpose, they find themselves limited by society's imperfect economic systems. As a result, many die without realizing their God-given dreams. In addition, there are those hindered by curses, spells, diseases, or bodily ailments. Countless forces in this world, empowered by darkness, work to prevent people from maximizing their full potential and soaring beyond the limitations of this material existence. Therefore, this year, you must walk in step with the Lord and live in the reality of perpetual freedom—free from any form of bondage imposed by the elements of the world system. Prayers: In the name of Jesus, I become all that the Lord has destined me to be this year. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(8th January 2025)* By: *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Being Strong in Your Body *Scripture:* Mark 6:31 "And He said to them, 'Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.' For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat." *Message* Let us begin with 1 Thessalonians 5:23, which states: "And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." It is clear that God cares about the total well-being of our entire being—spirit, soul, and body (listed here in the correct order of priority). The body, the visible and external part of us, is made from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7). While the body ranks last in importance compared to the spirit and soul, we must not undermine its significance. We have a responsibility to take good care of it. Your body is what gives you the right to function in the earthly realm, despite being a spirit-being. Remember that many spirits yearn for a body to manifest their realities on earth. In today’s fast-paced world, many people are so busy that they neglect their health and well-being, sacrificing them for the sake of productivity or success. However, even Jesus, with His divine mission and busy schedule, demonstrated the importance of rest. He told His disciples: "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while." This is the same Jesus who acknowledged the urgency of His assignment when He said: "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work." (John 9:4) Jesus modeled wisdom in maintaining a balance between work and rest. Despite His relentless commitment to His mission, Jesus prioritized rest, which enabled Him to accomplish so much in just three and a half years. He never experienced burnout or health issues—not only because of supernatural provision but also because He honored the principles of bodily rest. As we advance in life, we often encounter greater responsibilities that demand more time and energy. To handle these demands wisely, you must establish systems in your life that prevent constant exhaustion—whether from people, your career, or your calling. Work hard, but rest hard too. Schedule regular times for rest, recreation, and quality sleep. Prayers LORD, grant me the wisdom and discipline to know when and how to rest. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(7th January 2025)* By: Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Strength Comes Before Possession *Scripture:* Deuteronomy 11:8 (NKJV): “Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess.” *Message:* It's not enough to know that this year has opened the door to destiny possession—it’s not even enough to desire to move forward speedily. From our anchor scripture today, it is evident that strength is required to achieve destiny. Notice the progression: "be strong" leads to "and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess.” This highlights that it takes strength to walk into your inheritance and become all that God has destined you to be. In 1 John 2:14, the Apostle John, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, writes: "I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one." This strength John speaks of is not limited to mere physical ability. Instead, it refers to divine strength and spiritual stamina needed to fulfill destiny. One key expression of divine strength is the ability to remain in God’s presence continually. As a believer filled with the Holy Spirit, you possess the potential to cultivate a deep and meaningful relationship with God. Despite the distractions and challenges of today’s world, you are divinely equipped to overcome and possess your inheritance. The scripture further says, "because the word of God abides in you." The Word of God is the foundation for building and sustaining a right relationship with your Maker. It equips you to navigate a dark world filled with forces seeking to hinder your destiny. Jesus Christ, the living Word of God, must dwell richly within you for you to maximize your potential as a strong Christian. He has made Himself accessible through the Scriptures. Therefore, immerse yourself daily in the Word of God, and your spirit and soul will remain empowered. Prayer: I sustain the strength made available by the Holy Spirit for the actualization of my destiny. Further Reading: Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV): “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(6th January 2025)* By: Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Deal With Procrastination (2) Scripture: Ecclesiastes 9:10 "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." *Message:* When you examine Scripture, you will notice how various individuals avoided their responsibilities and faced unpleasant consequences as a result. This year, make up your mind not to let procrastination rob you of your spiritual inheritance and promised land! You have a role to play in your divine partnership with the LORD to step into a realm of greatness this year. Remember, God will not perform your role for you! If there is something you need to do and you fail to do it, it is not God's fault if you remain mediocre. If you keep procrastinating on tasks that should be accomplished, opportunities will continue to pass you by, and the end result will be undesirable. The Word of God encourages us to labor honestly and diligently, both for our benefit and for the good of others—always being conscious of time. Ecclesiastes 11:4 says: "Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." There will always be countless excuses to delay doing what needs to be done, but ultimately, you are only depriving yourself of the harvest. Rise up and work! Prayer: In the name of Jesus, I refuse to let procrastination hinder me from entering my promised land this year. Further Reading: Hebrews 12:11 "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(5th January 2025)* By: *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Deal With Procrastination (1) Scripture: Deuteronomy 11:8 (NKJV): "Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess." *Message:* There has been a consistent emphasis on the necessity of recognizing and utilizing the unique opportunities of this season to rise from one level to much greater heights. However, one major obstacle hindering many from fulfilling their God-given destinies is procrastination. Procrastination is the habit of delaying or postponing tasks or decisions, often resulting in feelings of guilt, stress, and decreased productivity. It is a common challenge that affects people regardless of their intelligence, motivation, or intentions. This habit can lead to poor time management, causing wasted time on non-essential activities. It can also cause individuals to miss out on opportunities, including career advancement, education, or personal growth. As you step into the new year, remember that in the spiritual realm, great and massive doors have been opened to you as a child of God. However, you must resolve to be proactive and diligent in addressing procrastination, so it does not rob you of the inheritance God has prepared for you. Prayer: In the name of Jesus, I refuse to let procrastination hinder me from entering my promised land this year. Further Reading: Luke 12:40 (NLT): "You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected."

Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(4th January, 2024)* By *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Your Time Is Now! (2) Scripture: "You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come." — Psalms 102:13 (NKJV) *Message:* As humans, we are uniquely made in the image and likeness of God, placing us in a higher realm than animals. It is, therefore, displeasing to God when animals excel in certain sensitive matters, such as recognizing and maximizing the significance of time, while we fail to do so. For instance, Jeremiah 8:7 states: "Even the stork in the heavens knows her appointed times; and the turtle, the crane, and the swallow observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of the Lord." Sadly, humanity's fallen nature has caused many to live in a manner akin to animals—ignorant of divine timing and purpose. Yet, as sons and daughters of God, redeemed through faith in Christ Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to live far above this level. God expects us to demonstrate wisdom and understanding, surpassing those whose spirits remain unregenerated. In I Chronicles 12:32, it is written: "Of the sons of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command." Even in the Old Testament, the sons of Issachar, though not born-again believers as we are today, tapped into a realm of wisdom where they could discern the times and act accordingly. As a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you. God expects you to recognize and seize the opportunities brought by this new year. By understanding and aligning with the realities of this season, you can access deeper dimensions of favor and fulfill God’s purpose for your life. This awareness will empower you to thrive and walk in the fullness of His plans for your destiny. Prayer: Lord, I declare that this is my time to step into deeper realms of favor as I walk in the purpose attached to my destiny. Amen. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(3rd January, 2024)* By *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Your Time Is Now! Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven." *Message* Your time is now! You must be sensitive to the movements in the spiritual realm so you don't miss the wide-open door for your destiny's advancement. Proper positioning is essential to maximize this season of your life. You don't need to wait for a spectacular sign to rouse yourself and seize your moment! Remember, time is short, and to experience true fulfillment at the end of our lives, we must accomplish what needs to be done now. Jesus said, "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work" (John 9:4 NKJV). Jesus understood His time and embraced its realities with urgency. He recognized that His wilderness season had passed. With heaven's attestation already secured, He knew there could be no further delays in fulfilling His destiny. Remember, the night is coming for all of us. With each passing year, our lifespan diminishes, bringing us closer to the rapture when all things will end. This is your time. Choose to use it wisely, building a structure that ensures not a second is wasted. Prayer Lord, I receive wisdom to make proper use of my time and season. Amen. Wisdom for Destiny Daily Devotional *(2nd January, 2024)* By Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Possess What's Rightly Yours Deuteronomy 11:8 (NKJV): “Therefore you shall keep every commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land which you cross over to possess.” *Message* This is the year to triumphantly walk into your land of destiny and possess all that God has prepared for you from eternity. As you cross into this new season, remember that it’s no longer business as usual. You are entering with grace to claim what has been patiently awaiting your arrival. You are no longer distracted from what truly matters, particularly the things pertaining to your destiny. You will no longer major in the minor but rise to become all God has destined you to be—for this is your time and season! What promises have you received from heaven in times past? The time is now ripe to claim them! Be ready to possess every single one. This is God's appointed time for you to begin experiencing the realities of your promised inheritance. No more delays! Time is short, and you must accomplish what needs to be done. With each passing year, our lifespan diminishes, and we draw closer to the rapture, when all things will come to an end. This year, decide to use time wisely and avoid wasting even a moment. When the Lord, through Moses, instructed His people to "go in and possess the land," the aim was to stir them to complete their conquest fully and enjoy the benefits of the land. The land was a part of their destiny, promised long ago. Living outside of it would have meant settling for smallness. This year, you too must complete your conquest and possess your possessions. Prayer In the name of Jesus, this is the year I possess my promised land and enjoy the full benefits of the inheritance God has prepared for me. Further Reading Matthew 25:29 (NKJV): ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.’

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(1st January 2025)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Appreciating God For The Gift Of A New Year "You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance." Psalms 65:11 NKJV *Message* Start the journey of the new cycle with a heart of gratitude and appreciation to the LORD for the gift of the new year. It is wisdom to saturate the day with praise, raising incense of thanksgiving to water the ground as you proceed triumphantly. It is true that God is worthy to be praised for the gift of 2025, since there are many who were not privileged to see the new year. Indeed, it is by His mercies that we have been able to soar above the waves of 2024 to arrive into a beautiful 2025. While there are numerous things you need the Lord to do for you, it is beautiful to first put in place what the LORD expects from every wise person - an offering of praise and thanksgiving. God is ever good and faithful. He is worthy of our praise, being a gracious King who is benevolent and lovely. As you engage in worship with the offerings of your lips, blessing the Lord with sweet words and sounds, you set yourself up for the numerous blessings He has embedded into different parts of the year. From the beginning to the end, there are numerous goodies God has put in place all through. Different people will sure give different negative projections and bad predictions for the year. Nevertheless, when you start the year sending up praise to the LORD with gratitude, you can be sure of receiving a constant downpour of pleasantness to make you invincible and immovable. *Prayer* Raise incense of praise to the Lord for 2025. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(30th December 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Making An Early Resolve For Holiness In 2025 Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. [16] For Scripture says: “You are to be holy, because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 TPT *Message* The new year is pregnant with a lot of blessings for God's children. However, you must retain a particular posture to be eligible for a handful of these blessings - the posture of saints whose lifestyle is inseparable from holiness. Therefore, as you approach the new year, one of the best things you will do is to make an early resolve to give great priority to holiness in your journey throughout the year. In your resolutions, as you decide to latch upon the ever-constant help of the Holy Spirit (Who is always available and eager to help you live holy in God's perfect Will), you must also brace yourself to be proactive in your duties. Hence, you must firmly decide to avoid all lustful entities and appearances all through the year. You should be prayerfully watchful of those whose lifestyle (dressing, conversations, etc) can get you infested with lust. You should ensure you don't give room for the inordinate cravings of the flesh and should avoid dirty things that erupt lustful desires and thoughts (dirty magazines, books, movies, music, etc). All through the year, you should never be found in places with an immoral atmosphere (clubs, wild parties, and so on) too. Avoid situations that breed lust (such as intimate contact with sensitive parts of members of the opposite gender, and so on). God wants you to be blameless and perfect all through 2025, and you must be faithful to a lifestyle of purity and holiness. You will be easily helped to maintain an intimate relationship with the LORD, with eternity in view. *Prayer* Father, help me to be perfect as You are. *Further Reading* For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you. 2 Corinthians 6:17 TPT

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(28th December 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Living Bread Good For Your Soul For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:33 NKJV *Message* In John chapter 6, Jesus was making some statements that were way above the religious knowledge of the Jews of the day. For instance, in verse 35, "And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.". These folks, whose hearts were set on carnal things, were thus offended at Him. Now, your mind is a compartment of your soul, and it is a very powerful part of you. One of the peculiar things about the mind is that it can't be empty - it must be occupied and filled. Hence, you have two options. On one hand, you can permit the corrupt nature of the flesh and society to fill your soul with all kinds of dirty baggage. On the other hand, you can (and should) plug yourself into a divine economy where you permit the Word of God, the Living Bread to feed your spirit, nourishing your soul in the process with life. God's word can be life to your soul, empowering your mind, thoughts and imagination towards becoming all God has destined you to be. Also, if you want to prevent the dirty baggage from an imperfect world from corrupting and weakening your soul, then you should always fill it with the Word of God. Equip yourself with the Word of God, and you will be empowered to not fulfill the desires of the flesh nor go the paths of the course of this world. It was David who said: "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee" (Psalm 119:11). *Prayer* Ask for grace to always eat the Living Bread of God's word without distractions. *Further Reading* And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(27th December 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: What's Next After Christmas? These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Hebrews 11:13 NKJV *Message* There probably won't have been Christmas in the first place if certain individuals didn't willingly partner with the Lord to make it a reality on the earth realm. Look at Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus - she willingly submitted her blessed womb to convey the Lord from the supernatural realm into our physical world. It was a great favor to the chaste Mary, but we should also applaud her strength - a young lady who took such huge responsibility for herself, ignoring others' opinions and ridicule. Of course, Joseph was also a partner in this business, as it wouldn't have been an easy task for Mary if her spiritual and wise husband didn't stand by her with good support. Look at this now. Before Jesus came here for His ministry on earth, there were several other religions being practiced by different people in different parts of the world. But after He ascended back to Heaven, His few disciples worked hard to ensure Christianity spread all over the world like widefire. If they had not partnered with the Holy Spirit to propagate Christ, then you and I won't have known about Him today, and won't have anything to do with Christmas too. So, what's next after Christmas? You must make a resolve to willingly partner with the Lord to birth whatever it is He has appointed for this season in your own day! There are still several promises and prophecies of the LORD hanging around the air, waiting for a willing human to partner with the heavens to make them a reality in our time. *Prayer* Help me, dear Lord, to submit to whatever You want to do with me in my generation. *Further Reading* God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(26th December 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Being Grateful To God For The Blessings Of Christmas And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. I Timothy 3:16 *Message* This beautiful season of Christmas came about on the platform of certain divine actions by the Godhead. John 3:16 beautifully states: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" It's a tough decision to give one's beloved son as a sacrifice for undeserving folks. So, we are eternally grateful to YAHWEH for giving us Jesus, Who is the reason for the beautiful season. Christmas is all about Him. And it is worth noting that Jesus wasn't forced to come down here to offer His life as a sacrifice to reunite mankind back to God - pure love brought Him here. As a human, how would you feel if you were asked to become an ant and start living with ants? This is what it's like for Jesus (the Immortal KING of Eternity) to come down here to live with humans. But guess what? Jesus did this willingly because He loves you and me dearly. *All divine parts of the Godhead were very proactive in making the beautiful story of Christmas a reality, including the Holy Spirit. Don't forget when the Angel Gabriel was discussing with Mary, he told her "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35). So, the Holy Spirit is also one of the Heroes Of Christmas.* Hence, we must be eternally grateful to the LORD for Christmas. *Prayer* Take time to bless the LORD for the salvation of your soul *Further Reading* For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; [10] and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(25th December 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: Never Lose Sight Of The True Purpose Of Christmas For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11 NKJV *Message* Every year, the 25th day of the month of December won't stop being a significant day. It is the celebration of the most popular holiday - Christmas. It is the birth of Jesus Christ. And so, almost everywhere in the world, Christmas is being celebrated. Unfortunately, many don't even know the major reason for the season in the first place. A lot of people are ignorant of the reason Jesus Christ came to the earth in the first place. This is why you see folks "celebrating" Christmas in sinful and harmful ways - wild parties, sexual immorality, alcohol and hard drugs, etc. On the other hand, Christmas to several others simply revolves around Santa and presents, taking the Object of Christmas (Jesus Christ) out of the scenes entirely. But what's the purpose of Christmas? This should be a season to gratefully reflect on the amazing things of God in Christ Jesus. Remember, from the beginning, God originally created the earth to be an extension of Heaven, and He made humans to be perfect creatures to take care of everything He made. He desires (and enjoys) an intimate relationship with humans, entrusting the earth into the hands of mankind. Then came man's disobedience, and the beginning of receiving God's love on a very gracious level. God's love attained a zenith in Christ Jesus, as He decided to come down to offer His Own Life to redeem humans back to Himself. He suffered and died on the cross of Calvary to get us back into His perfect Will. Christmas is a remembrance that in Christ Jesus, we have recovered all that was stolen by the devil, and we now have the authority to wield true dominion over creation - including dominion over sin, death, darkness, hell, poverty, sickness, and anything negative. Merry Christmas! *Prayer* Ask that the LORD utilize this Christmas celebration to introduce Himself to many sinners around the world on a personal level. *Further Reading* Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(24th December 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni TOPIC: We Can't Imagine A World Without Christmas "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 *Message* Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of our LORD JESUS CHRIST the Redeemer and Savior of mankind. Without Jesus coming to the earth, the world will remain in a dark and brutal state. Remember, after Lucifer, who became satan, was condemned to the earth realm following his attempts to rebel against God, it was recorded that: "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep." Genesis 1:2 But it also revealed that: "The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters", which is proof that God didn't ignore the world even in its unworthy state. Hence, God brought a solution to make right the wrong, "Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light." Genesis 1:3 You see what happened there? GOD introduced the Word to make things beautiful again! Now, Jesus is eternally known as the Word of God (John 1), and we can see that He has an expertise in making ugly terrible situations beautiful again. So, after the sin of Adam and Eve (our first human parents in Eden), another ugly situation arose, plunging mankind into gross darkness, filled with all manner of evil and vices. But through Jesus Christ, all things became beautiful again: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 NKJV So, a world without Christmas meant humanity would be forever doomed and would be slaves to sin, death, hell, satan, poverty, sickness, and other negative things. But, Hallelujah! Jesus gave the victory! Are you experiencing some ugly and terrible situations in your life, or someone close to you? Introduce Jesus, He has expertise in turning unpleasant stuff into beautiful experiences! If you are yet to submit to the Lordship of Jesus, this season is the best time to do so. Simply pray: "LORD JESUS, I believe in my heart that You died for me and You raised on the third day for my justification. And so I confess with my mouth that You are my Lord and Savior. From today, I belong to the family of God. Thank You for giving me eternal life." *Prayer* Whatever is unpleasant around you, ask Jesus to make things right again. *Further Reading* For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke19:10

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(23rd December 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Divine Partnership God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. Hebrews 11:40 NKJV *Message* Before you came into the scene as a warrior on God's side, there have been millions of others before you, carrying the banner of God at different dispensations of human history. The saints we read of in the bible saw something glorious that pertains to our own day, through the instrumentality of the Prophetic. However, in God's infinite wisdom, both they and we need one another to enter into the fullness of what God has provided. Hence, the Saints of old, whose spirits are still very much active, are eager to partner with us for our collective destiny fulfilment on this part of God's kingdom. We are talking about the likes of Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, Elijah, Deborah, Joshua, Daniel, John the Baptist, Peter, Paul, John the Beloved, etc. These folks, in their own time, partnered willingly with the Lord to birth various divine possibilities on the earth realm. This is our time, and we too must make a resolve to willingly partner with the Lord to birth whatever it is He has appointed for this season in our own day! One of the provisions He has made available is the possibility of a divine partnership between us and the ancient saints who have gone before us on the path of faith. The Lord would have us succeed with precision and accuracy. Let the Holy Spirit introduce you to ancient saints who are eager to partner with you based on the similarity of their assignment and yours. As they subdued kingdoms and shut the mouths of lions, you will learn ancient strategies that can't be disclosed in any human classroom. *Prayer* Help me, dear Lord, to take advantage of all You've made available to help me fulfil destiny in my generation. *Further Reading* These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(22nd December 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Tough Man Who Persevere Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. James 5:11 *Message* When making attempts to fight believers, one of the core things the devil aims for is to make us doubt God's word and promises. This was the strategy he used in taking our first parents out of God's Will, and it's something the kingdom of darkness have mastered over time. Listen, it doesn't matter what you are currently experiencing, you must decide to never doubt God's word over you. In Jeremiah 29:11, the LORD declared: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." You see, when you are in the midst of an unpleasant circumstance that is not related to the glorious future God has promised, the devil will try to take your gaze away from God's promises of a successful future and make you focus more on the issues of today. The problem is, you will turn the current situation into an idol, and you will gradually begin to doubt what God has said. But you see the man Job, he was a pretty tough man we should learn some things from. He was doing very great, basking in the blessings the Lord had granted him. However, there was a change of season, and he started experiencing hardness. When satan introduced unpleasant occurrences to Job, those things only pushed him closer to God rather than taking him away from his Maker. 'In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.' (Job 2:10). Job did not doubt the goodness of God, but even took advantage of those difficult times by riding upon their wings to become a more spiritual person. *Prayer* It doesn't matter what today looks like, I choose to believe all of God's promises to me. *Further Reading* By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(21st December 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: The Flight Is Upon Us “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Revelation 22:12 NKJV *Message* In recent times, there have been more consistent reasons to believe that the great flight we have been waiting for, the rapture, is closer than we can imagine. Hence, we should be reminded yet again that we are travelers on earth with a much better home awaiting us ultimately. A healthy believer should always live with the consciousness that Saints have no continuing city here, but there is a much more glorious realm awaiting us. There is a unique nourishment we draw from the continuous realization that our real home is devoid of the imperfections attached to this earth. Hence, every Christian should always set their heart on the Rapture, the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, where He will appear in the skies, to take His own (the Church; His bride) out of the pains and difficult situations occasioned by satan, sin and the world. The Rapture is a divine vehicle that will ultimately transport us into the realms that lead to our real home far beyond the skies. If this reality can be a part of you, it will draw you into the path of righteousness, and you will keep standing on your toes. You are energized to keep shunning the numerous temptations in this world. Never forget that any time from now, in the twinkling of an eye, those who are in Christ (who are living to obey and please Him) will be snatched up, carried off (their bodies shall be changed to immortality) by divine force to meet Him in the skies. *Prayer* Lord, help me to be always ready for the Rapture. *Further Reading* For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(20th December 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: You Are In A Sophisticated Class Entirely Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? II Corinthians 6:14 NKJV *Message* It appears several Christians are yet to realize that they are in a distinct class that is above the civilization of this fallen world. Hence, you still see many, due to lack of identity, getting yoked with the fallen things of the fallen world for validation. *"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6: 14 - 18* You should see something wrong with believers having intimate relationships with unbelievers and those who are living contrary to God's Will. But then, there is an identity problem in the first place, as many Christians don't even know who they are. Why should you seek validation from a fallen world? You should imitate Jesus who pursued God's accreditation, and He never conformed to a wrong worldly standard all through His stay on earth as a Man (John 5:41-47). Indeed, as a child of God, you should love everyone regardless of where they are currently. As a light in a dark world, you are expected to take the light of Christ to folks still languishing in darkness and bring them into the marvelous light too. However, you must not compromise into their corrupt standards and paths for whatever reason. *Prayer* Father, help me to never conform to the godless standards of the world for whatever reason. *Further Reading* My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(19th December 2024)* by Sunday Akanni TOPIC: God Remains Creator For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, Romans 1:20 *Message* Angry people don't want the existence of God for various reasons. But we know there is a great God who has proven to be the Almighty Creator who made everything - seen and unseen, known and unknown. Imagine someone coming to tell you that no one made that dress you are putting on right now, but that it just appeared 'just like that' out of thin air. How can anyone consider the sun, moon, stars, oceans, etc, and then conclude that all just appeared 'just like that', and that no one had made them? *When you put on a lovely dress, it's an attestation to a skillful dressmaker. When we consider the splendid and powerful operations of the natural edifices that existed before we were born, the mountains, great water bodies, sun and moon, etc, they keep testifying to the existence of an intelligent God.* Hence, the Psalmist would say "The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork." (Psalms 19:1). Seeing the numerous splendor of the earth is a great proof of the unsearchable wisdom of God. From the Bible, we've seen that He is a very glorious Spirit, and should He interact with the earth realm in His wholeness, the earth will crumble and flee (Revelation 20:11). Yet, in His great wisdom, He "became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory..." (John 1:14). In His wisdom, since He still held the title of the earth's Creator, He still devised a way to interact with His beloved creatures on earth. Right now, He resides inside of you as a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus. *Prayer* Ask the LORD to, in His mercy, reveal Himself to those still denying His existence. *Further Reading* But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him? II Chronicles 2:6 NKJV
