Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(25th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Faith And Hope Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. *Message* Faith is one of the most cardinal things that must be constantly understood and practiced if a believer will fulfill destiny by becoming all that God has destined them to be. Faith is not an emotion but a purposeful decision to stand on God's word. Hence, our lives must always be saturated with God's word. Take note of this scripture: *"Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope." Psalms 119:49* Faith is not necessary when there's no hope. Hope built upon (or presented by) God's word puts in place the goal - then faith is the bridge that helps you get to it. There is a big difference between wishful thinking and God's promises via His word. Hope that was sponsored by God's promises will become a reality with the right measure of faith When you master the keys of the kingdom, you become invincible and victorious. The Bible says: For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." (I John 5:4). *Finally, we know that Jesus our perfect High Priest is currently making intercessions for us (Hebrews 7:25). And we know that a good chunk of His prayers for us revolves around us being strong in faith. "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail..." Luke 22:32* *Prayers* Dear LORD, increase my faith. *Further Reading* Hebrews 4:2 NKJV For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(24th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: When All Is Said And Done II John 1:6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. *Message* We were created in the very same image and likeness of God, and it's our destiny to always pursue becoming like God. Take note of the fact that the very essence and nature of the LORD is love. Hence, the most visible way of becoming like Him is by loving others. Like I enjoy saying, in spite of the fact that God is all-powerful (amongst other supernatural abilities), He is more comfortable with love, and He loves being approached as a Love Being. *Touching the matter of love, Paul made some powerful remarks: "And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing." (I Corinthians 13:3).* Always remember that love cannot be learned in isolation, but you grow in love as you practice love intentionally with people around you - the nasty folks, the imperfect and annoying ones, etc. Whilst you have the liberty to decide the things you want your life to revolve around, Jesus summarised what matters most this way: "Love God and love people". The point of life is learning to love God and people. *Always give priority to the things that help you grow in love with the Lord, and always give yourself to enhancing good relationships with people beyond things. Relationships, not things, are what really matters in life. When all is said and done, you will discover that relationships are what life is all about.* *Prayers* Dear LORD, help me give myself to loving You and others. *Further Reading* I Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(23rd September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Complacency Kills Passion Deuteronomy 32:11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings, *Message* By now, you should be aware that between the time you receive your vision from God and its manifestations, there are going to be a whole lot of uncertainties and challenges that will want to make you quit. Even if others should quit, passion will keep you going. When you are really passionate about your dreams and visions, the price tag won't stop you. Now, you should also be aware that complacency could kill passion. A mother Eagle is aware of the fact that she mustn't wait for her young to get out of the nest and fly on their own initiative - because they won't do so due to the ease at which they get their stuff daily in their comfort zone. So, what the mother Eagle does is push them out of their comfort zone! It may seem as if the mother is acting wickedly, but she is only helping them learn to fly and fulfill their own destiny too. *To become all that God has destined you to be, you must always take steps out of your comfort zone. When you have mastered your strength zone, you should always carry your strength zone with you and won't be scared of confronting unfamiliar zones outside your comfort zone. Complacency kills passion and it reduces a person to average.* *Prayers* Is there a dream you've abandoned for lack of passion? Ask the LORD for strength that revives. *Further Reading* Nehemiah 2:5 [5] And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.” *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(22nd September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Self-esteem Empowerment Luke 1:28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” *Message* Before Mary could be offered the assignment of rendering her womb as the vehicle that would transport the KING of kings from Heaven to earth, there was a system put in place to ensure her self-esteem would first be jacked up to a superb level of divinity, done by granting her the revelation of her identity in eternity: “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” It was only after this had been achieved that the angel informed her: "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David." (Vs 31-32). Mary's next response was, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” and not, "Who am I to be entrusted with such great responsibility?". The reason is simple, the encounter had first opened her up to a revelation of her identity in eternity, and it has empowered her self-esteem to carry her head high even amid the reproach it will bring (since people will think she has been sleeping around when not married). *In God's wisdom, before commissioning you into your assignment, He first grants you a revelation of your glorious identity in eternity. This is beneficial in several ways, including how it is a self-esteem empowerment scheme to ensure you keep carrying your shoulders high even when faced with reproach while carrying out the assignment.* *Prayers* Press for fresher encounters with the LORD, for fresher revelations of how He sees and regards you. *Further Reading* Luke 1:38 [38] Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(21st September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Trust Him Psalms 119:1 NKJV Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! *Message* A reasonable parent won't place their kid near a cliff's edge and watch them play as they want. Rather, they will ensure there is a solid fence that can restrict the kids from jumping into danger. The fence may hinder the children from fulfilling certain harmful desires as they crave more freedom, but it also enables them to play freely without fear. This is the same thing with God as He utilizes His Word. God is a very responsible Father, and He won't simply place and abandon His children in a nasty world and society without building a fence that should guide our inclinations and keep us safe from the dangerous systems and lifestyles birthed by the sinful nature of mankind. *Definitely, it gets to a time where some kids start wondering curiously what's on the other side of the fence. If such a child doesn't know or trust the one who built the fence, they will climb over and hurl deep down. So, we've got to know God, the fence builder, and trust Him. He created the fence via His word, not to keep us in bondage, but to empower us for liberty.* *In all your dealings with God, always remember Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."* *Prayers* LORD, help me to wholly know and trust that You always have my best interests at heart. *Further Reading* Psalms 119:6 Then I would not be ashamed, When I look into all Your commandments. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(20th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Idolatry "Jesus said to him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment" Matthew 22: 37, 38 *Message* God is the only truly transcendent Being, which means, while He is both the unknown and unknowable, yet, He continually seeks to reveal Himself to His creation. The LORD is the incomprehensible Creator who exists outside of space and time and is therefore unknowable and unsearchable. However, He has still made it possible for us to know a lot about Him, particularly via the Scripture of Truth. And when you examine Scripture, you will see a lot about the personality of God. You will easily find out that He is a God who can do without mankind on the strength of His Omnipotence (an expression of being All-powerful revolves around His self-sufficiency). However, He chose to love mankind without restraint, and this includes His willingness to attach emotions to His dealings with us. Hence, you discover that He is a jealous God who doesn't want to share you with anything else outside of Him. So, from Scripture, we see a prototype with the offspring of Abraham and Isaac, after claiming them for Himself from all the peoples of the earth (Genesis 17). Whilst there is nothing too special about the Israelites in themselves, He humbled Himself to embrace them to Himself and became fully engrossed in His commitment to them. He instructed thus: "You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me" (Exodus 20:5). Even today, you discover that there are usually things in the lives of many that keep competing with God's love. Such things are actually idols. Anything as important as God to you, anything you place ahead and above God, is an idol. Hence, if you have a genuine revelation about the love of God, then you must keep guarding your affections to ensure nothing outside of Him will compete for His love inside of you. Prayers LORD, cut off anything outside of You competing with You in my life. Further Reading Malachi 3:6 NKJV “For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(19th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: If Nothing Is Worth Dying For, Nothing Is Worth Living For I John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. *Message* If nothing is worth dying for, nothing is worth living for. Jesus made us realize the truth that the only way to live abundantly is to first die to self-interest and then offer yourself totally to God as well as anyone around you in need of what the LORD has blessed you with. *As a child of God, you are empowered to have a high and healthy self-esteem - but you mustn't be selfish and self-centered. When you are only obsessed with yourself, you end up losing the meaning of life. Life is sweet and tasty when you love and serve God, and you're empowered based on that to love and serve your neighbors.* Without a commitment to the well-being of others, our individual lives are prone to being barren and bitter. Without an adequate commitment to the well-being of those God has strategically placed around you, our individual lives are prone to lack meaning and purpose. Indeed, if nothing is worth dying for, then nothing is worth living for. *Prayers* Today, I choose to ride upon my love towards God to care for the well-being of those God has placed around me. I offer myself to those around me in need of what God has given me. *Further Reading* Mark 12:30-31 [30] And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(17th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Life Is In Seasons Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: *Message* Of a truth, life is lived in seasons. The earlier you sincerely realize this and make it a continual part of your life, the better for you. Anyone who doesn't understand this truth will be constantly frustrated. There are seasons for sowing, and there are seasons of painful waiting, as well as seasons for reaping. Many times, when people find themselves at junctions where things aren't just going how they would have loved, it's normal to feel irritated and agitated. When a person has been trusting God for certain things and realities, but it's not just coming up as expected, they can get really frustrated and worn out. But it is soothing to realize that the miracle is coming, not just when you wanted it, but at God's best time, which is the right season. *While you should keep taking appropriate steps and leaps of faith during your waiting seasons, all must be done from a place of rest, knowing fully well that the seasons of harvests and manifestations are on the way (maybe closer than you think), and the right season is the best time to get what belongs to you.* *You may feel frustrated with the pace of your progress, but God is never in a hurry. What happens when a sower tries harvesting their plants before the season of harvest? They get everything ruined! Imagine plucking unripe mangoes, it's all a mess, right? So, as much as you so much crave a change in your fortune, God won't want the process to be ruined by your desires but will allow the gentle operations of seasons.* Don't be in haste. Wait for your season. It will definitely come! *Prayers* Father in the name of Jesus, help me remain patient and set for my season of harvest. *Further Reading* James 1:4 NKJV But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(16th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Touch Him Mark 5:28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” *Message* In the book of Mark, we saw a woman with a terrible issue of blood flow that has been on for 12 years. She has spent all her money on the condition and has made the doctors rich - but they still couldn't help her get well. The problem is one that prevented her from living a quality life in several ways. As a wife, her husband couldn't touch her sexually - for 12 years. The condition made it impossible for her to give birth, denying her the joy of motherhood. She couldn't even practice her religion as she was prohibited from entering the temple. As a matter of fact, anything she touched was considered unclean. However, she thought within herself, "If I can just touch Jesus", and that ignited her journey into the miraculous. But take note of the fact that before she could get to Jesus, she had to first deal with a crowd hindering her from getting to the LORD. The crowds would have given her different opinions that should have discouraged her - but her faith just won't make her stop. *When faced with tough issues and you find yourself in a bad condition, don't embrace misery, but aim to touch Jesus. You can always press through the hindrances and discouragement and touch the One who can introduce you to the miraculous, again and again.* *Prayers* Today, take any problem in your heart to God's presence and expect a touch from the LORD. *Further Reading* Mark 5:34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Good morning. Another reminder that Jesus loves you ❤️ |
The Dirty Tricks Of The Seductress (Proverbs 7:5-27) Proverbs 7:5-27 contains the story of the seductress and her ignorant prey, exposing her tactics and tricks for the wise to consider. Now, it should be noted that the seductress here is not gender-based, but a system/posture that can be assumed by a member of any of the genders (both male and female), with the intent of bringing ignorant folks into a deadly pit via sexual pleasures. So, while reading the operations of the seductress in this chapter, keep in mind that a male can also be under the influence of the spirit of the seductress, and the prey can also be a female. And having made these clarifications, let's get started: "That they may keep you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words." My Comment: So, wise Solomon had been admonishing the importance of holding on to God's word, as it will keep one from the immoral seductress who "flatters with words". The same thing was highlighted in Proverbs 2:16 - "...the seductress who flatters with her words." The strength of the seductress is heavily hinged upon their words, and their mouths are a strong weapon, even stronger than their sexual organs. "For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil; [4] But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword." (Proverbs 5:3-4) Words are powerful and spiritual, and the seductress knows how to use words in darkness. Since the seductress operates with the spirit of lust, with their words, they saturate the atmosphere with lust. Lust flies around in the air and folks who don't have the spiritual energy to soar above this frequency become infested with lust. This is why when you get to certain places, lust is very strong in the atmosphere, and you will always see the fruits of immorality littered all over the place. The spirit of lust still distills sounds all around the nations of the world. These are sensual vibrations that come through various means and channels (movies, music, books, social media, etc) meant to plant the seed of lust in the hearts of people from the realm of the spirit. The goal is to first seduce your heart before anything else. "...with her smooth words meant to seduce your heart." (TPT). Wise people thus invest a lot in whatever is pure that guards their hearts from being corrupted and seduced by lust. Human seductresses operating with the spirit of lust don't attempt to lure people into sexual sins without first casting the spells of lust into the air from the realm of the spirit. When that is done, they are most likely to successfully get a prey in the physical realm. You should understand that these folks have targets given to them from their kingdom of darkness which must be met - on a daily basis, weekly, monthly, annually, etc. Imagine someone instructed to bring 20 persons into sexual immorality each week, an average of 3 each day. Such a person will always be eager and have a sense of urgency around their potential victims because they know the grave repercussions that await if they fail to meet the target they were given (the devil their master is very cruel). Hence, on a normal level, their sense of urgency and eagerness around their potential victims should send a message that something is not right here. However, the unfortunate truth is that any part of their victims that should accommodate reasonable thoughts or perceive something foul is already infested with lust via their spells from the spirit realm. The bullets of lust shot with their sensual vibrations from the kingdom of darkness will mix with the arousal of their prospective victims (the arousal of their sexual organs), and only divine intervention can prevent those ones from falling into their sexual traps at that point.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(14th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Feast Deuteronomy 8:3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. *Message* Experts say people only keep doing what rewards them. Hence, when reading the bible becomes unrewarding, it becomes easy to quit. If you still have a healthy conscience, you will likely feel guilty but become spiritually weak and tired. But you must always remember that your soul can't thrive without God's word. But you may say, "I know so and so persons who don't read God's word, but they are doing fine and happy". Then I will answer you, "They aren't living the best version of themselves". I will also correct you by saying, "Anyone who seems happy outside of God is only a great actor". *The Bible says, "So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 8:3).* *When we don't enjoy feasting on God's word, we begin to shrink bit by bit and it becomes impossible to become all that God has destined us to be.* "But I don't have time to always read the bible". How much time do you spend with your phone each day? Hours, right? If you find social media rewarding and not God's word, your soul needs great help. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(13th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Teach Us To Number Our Days Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. *Message* It is very beneficial to give greater priority to wisdom and spend the rest of your life with a very strong consciousness of eternity. This known earth is not your permanent residence, and after a definite number of days have been completed (which only God knows), either by death or the rapture, you will be transported away from this known world, and return to a palpable space of eternity. One will either spend their eternity in heaven, which is characterized by God's intimate Presence, or the lake of fire, which is a system of punishment for those who rebelled against God. The scripture of truth admonished us to learn to number our days with the end goal of gaining a heart of wisdom (or start living life on the frequency of divine wisdom). In other words, in our daily activities, we will always choose to remember that at the end of each day, we are getting closer to returning back to the space of eternity where God commissioned us from before we were born into this world. *Wisdom will then tutor and compel us to always make the right choices each day to enable us to fulfill God's purpose for us on earth, while at the same time investing heavily in our eternity (the quality of your existence in eternity will be heavily dependent on your choices on earth). Wisdom will tutor us to live each day pleasing God through faith in Christ Jesus and maintaining a solid intimate relationship with Him.* *Prayers* Teach me dear LORD, to number my days. *Further Reading* Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. *Message* Jesus gave us the fortitude to oust darkness by shining the divine Holy Ghost breathed light authoritatively. At Calvary, Jesus disgraced and defeated Evil, and turned the word 'evil' into 'Live'. In John 1:4, the scriptures say: "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." *When you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, you become a new unique breed that has a nature that's above Evil, and the light of Christ in you illuminates your entire being (mind, thoughts, conscience, habits, characters, etc) making it easy to walk in the narrow path of holiness and righteousness that is devoid of evil, and that makes you immune from any evil work of darkness around you.* Imagine how beautiful our world would be if every one of us decided to accept Jesus Christ and embrace His loving directives. If you have embraced Jesus Christ and accepted his death, suffering, resurrection, and ascension, please preach Him to the world. Remember, the more people accept Him truly, the less evil the world will witness. By preaching the gospel, you keep spreading divine light that chases darkness far away. *Prayers* In Christ Jesus, I am God's son, and I arise to shine as God's light in a dark world *Further Reading* I John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(11th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: *Lessons From Ruth And Naomi (5)* Galatians 3:13 NKJV [13] Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), *Message* From the story of Ruth and Naomi, we discover there is no situation so dark that the light of God’s presence and His arm of provision cannot be redeemed. God made use of the man Boaz to redeem Ruth and Naomi from their unpleasant past via the instrumentality of the marriage institution. The marriage institution is one of God's most superb strategies to equip mankind with a taste of divinity that enhances our quality of life on earth. Jesus married us, His church, empowering us with the arm of divinity to become all God has destined us to be. 1 Peter 1:18-19 informs us - “you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ.” Ephesians 5:25-27 - “Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish” Ruth and Naomi struggled and grieved for a while when death reared its ugly head in their direction. But God utilized the marriage institution to change their fortune again. Let's not forget that before this happened, the duo remained loyal to each other, facing their circumstances with boldness and wise and courageous actions. Your loyalty to Jesus, your Bridegroom, will ensure a quality existence that spans across eternity. *Prayers* Thank You LORD for the blessing of the marriage institution. *Further Reading* Ruth 4:14 Blessed is the LORD who has not left you without a redeemer today” *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(10th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Lessons From Ruth And Naomi (4) Ruth 4:14 Blessed is the LORD who has not left you without a redeemer today” *Message* From the story of Ruth and Naomi, we can also uniquely learn about redemption. Scattered across the different pages of the book of Ruth is the testament to the truth that there is absolutely no situation that cannot be redeemed for God’s glory as well as our good. The duo, Ruth and Naomi, passed through tough and unpleasant circumstances quite alright, and yet, their story is also full of redemption, with God proving His goodness again and again. So, you see the man Boaz who gladly fulfills his responsibility to redeem Ruth and Naomi as a kinsman-redeemer, an action that empowered the duo toward a better life that placed them in the privileged cadre of society. This became obvious to all, as they declared: “‘Blessed is the LORD who has not left you without a redeemer today” (Ruth 4:14). It is important to know that Boaz’s redemption of Ruth and Naomi is one of the Old Testament acts that foreshadow the redemption that Jesus accomplishes on behalf of His people in His era of grace. As we decide to align with the LORD, He redeemed us from self, sin, satan, death, and whatever negative stuff you can think of. *Prayers* Thank You LORD for redemption. *Further Reading* Galatians 3:13 NKJV [13] Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(9th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: *Lessons From Ruth And Naomi (3)* James 2:26 [26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. *Message* Ruth and Naomi displayed a great deal of faith in God by trusting vehemently in His arm of provision. However, this never stopped them from acting boldly too. The duo came together and made a plan that involved Ruth proposing marriage to Boaz (Ruth 3:1-18). For some folks, their issue is not a lack of faith in the LORD, but their lack of boldness in carrying out the necessary divinely-crafted steps that will ensure progress on their journey of destiny. Be bold! Take bold steps today! The duo's bold steps helped ensure all the characters in their story witnessed a sweet ending. We should not ignore how God utilized the wisdom of Naomi in partnership with the courage of Ruth to ensure the progress of His agenda. Remember, Ruth became drafted into the tree of the lineage of Jesus Christ. Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(8th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Lessons From Ruth And Naomi (2) Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV [9] “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; *Message* The book of Ruth is a revelator of the truth of God's faithfulness, the fact that He can always be trusted amid the toughest circumstances. We easily see His arm of provision stretched to provide what Ruth and Naomi needed at exactly the right time. Ruth was obviously supernaturally led to begin gleaning in the fields of Boaz, a relative of her late husband, unknown to her. Always ensure you watch out for God's supernatural works in the midst of uncertainties and tight situations. You will always find His great arm working behind the scenes for your good. When Naomi discovered this, she expressed her delight at the loyal love of God, declaring that His “‘kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!’” Dear reader, things might be currently happening very fast around you right now, so much so that you have started getting overwhelmed. In the midst of it all, however, search out for God's kindness toward you, and you will always discover that He has been ensuring all things work together for your good. *Prayers* Help me Dear LORD to always see Your arm of kindness at all times. *Further Reading* Psalms 103:8 [8] The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM* |

Good morning folks. Another reminder that Jesus loves you ❤️ |
by Sunday Akanni Moshood In Genesis chapter 39, we see Joseph settling in a foreign land as a slave. But one thing was sure, he never allowed his external unpleasant circumstances to erase the visions of the great future God had shown him before this time. Joseph’s ordeal was probably worse than what you have gone through. But you see, the LORD never abandoned him. If God allowed him to be a slave, then he would be a successful man, even as a slave. It doesn't matter how hard things are for you currently, God is still eager to help you actualize the great visions and dreams He has placed in your heart. Joseph developed a positive attitude of "All things work together for my good", and amid his toughness (remember, he was in a strange land with a strange culture and language), his exceptional performances still stood him out. But this is when the enemy intensified his attempts to make the young man fall into sexual temptation, so his bright future could be battered. And the agent of sexual temptation to be utilized is the wife of his master - [6] So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, [7] and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, “Come to bed with me!” (Genesis 39:6-7 NIV) Your positive mindset and exceptional performances in the great things you do, will attract agents of sexual temptation to you, whose aim is to make you fall into sin, so you give the devil a chance to stop you from becoming all God has destined you to be. Mind you, the carriers of sexual temptation to be employed by the enemy are always close by and not far away - just like in the case of Joseph. However, although Joseph was in a faraway land where he could do whatever he wanted, and in the midst of the tempting atmosphere (a beautiful naked woman offering you a better life if you can sleep with her), the fear of God becomes his guide, and the fear of God in his heart proved stronger than the sexual cravings of his flesh. [9] No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:9 NIV). The fear of God educated him on God's Will for sexual pleasure: Sexual pleasures must only be shared by a married man and his female wife in the safe confines of their marriage union, with no other party involved. Now, gaze closely at the next verse - "And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her." (10). First, agents of sexual temptation will never back down, but keep trying to lure you - even if they must wait for 50 years! But you see what Joseph did - "...he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her." Joseph kept employing the "avoidance technique". He wasn't just saying "I have the fear of God" and continued being careless around this embodiment of sexual temptation (he would have fallen into her bed of immorality!). Rather, he kept being cautious of her and avoiding close interactions. Nevertheless, I told you, you could have been avoiding agents of sexual temptation all your life, but at some point, it's possible to miscalculate and get outsmarted by an entity of sexual temptation [11] One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside. [12] She caught him by his cloak and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house." (11-12) On a certain day, the sexual temptation outsmarted his avoidance technique and came so close by. But you see what he did? He had to employ the fleeing technique. Here was a beautiful naked woman close by. You don't negotiate or pray here - the immediate thing to do is to FLEE. Joseph was 17 years old when he was sold into slavery (Genesis 37:2). He was 30 when Pharaoh promoted him (Genesis 41:46). He was in prison for two years before his promotion (Genesis 41:1). So, Joseph was in Potiphar’s house for 11 years. It means this woman was trying unsuccessfully to lure him for 11 good years! When you have the fear of God, and you are diligently employing the "avoidance and fleeing" technique, you will always please God in purity and he will sure promote and bless you with the blessings only He can bless a person with.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(7th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Lessons From Ruth And Naomi (1) Ruth 1:16-17 NKJV [16] But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. [17] Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me.” *Message* The book of Ruth revealed the story of a man named Elimelech, his wife Naomi, and their two sons. They moved to Moab from their home country and then encountered tragedy. Elimelech and both her sons died, leaving Naomi alone with her two Moabite daughters-in-law--Orpah and Ruth. However, Naomi decided to return to Judah, and both daughters-in-law followed her at first before Orpah eventually turned back while Ruth continued with her. After trying in vain to persuade Ruth to stay put in Moab, the duo eventually arrived in Bethlehem. One of the prominent lessons from the story of Ruth and Naomi is loyalty. It takes a deep sense of loyalty for a young woman like Ruth who may not have stepped out of Moab at any point in time, to willingly decide to depart from her comfort zone just to be with her mother-in-law, Naomi, back to Judah (an old woman who seems to have nothing to offer). After returning to Judah, Ruth and Naomi continued to show loyal love to each other, operating as a graceful team. Ruth gleaned in Boaz’s field so as to get enough food for them both, and Naomi gave Ruth advice for proposing marriage to Boaz. Eventually, Ruth gave birth to Obed with Boaz, and as expected, Naomi took care of him so dearly that “the neighbor women gave him a name, saying, ‘A son has been born to Naomi!’”. It became obvious to everyone, as they told Naomi that Ruth “loves you and is better to you than seven sons.” Loyalty is golden. Be loyal in the relationships God has blessed you with. *Prayers* Help me Lord to be loyal in my relationships. *Further Reading* Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity” *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(6th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Friendship Thrives In Love John 15:15 [15] No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. *Message* Jesus places great value on friendship and He loves His friends for real. He quite literally loved His friends in a sophisticated way when He gave up His life to save us! When you take time to study the Gospels, you will easily touch His love for His own. One of the expressions of the love of a friend revolves around how true friendship helps you find strength in God. 1 Samuel 23:16 - “And Saul’s son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God” This is a loving testimony of friendship. If you can't find this quality in your current friendships, then something is wrong. Before entering into a real friendship relationship, make sure you have the quality that helps the other person find strength in God, and vice versa. David and Jonathan’s friendship was inspiring, but Jesus is an even greater friend! He keeps helping His friends enjoy the dividends of divinity, even till this day! In conclusion, make sure you choose friends who help you find strength in God, and also be someone who helps others find strength in God! It is true that love pushes us to better places. Indeed, true friendship will push you to God. *Prayers* Bless the LORD for the beautiful gift of friendship.

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(5th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: A True Friend Is True Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity” *Message* Going on with the exemplary friendship that existed between David and Jonathan, we will excavate principles of friendship that make our relationships as beneficial and effective as possible. In a world where numerous fake people are exhibiting fake friendships in society, we must always remember that true friendship is meant to be true at all times. Friendship will always be tested, and this is when its truthful quality will be revealed. You see, Jonathan had multiple reasons to give up on his friendship with David, as his association with David was so stressful for him. In fact, his life was threatened because of his loyalty to David. I Samuel 20:32-33 - "And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said to him, “Why should he be killed? What has he done?” [33] Then Saul cast a spear at him to kill him, by which Jonathan knew that it was determined by his father to kill David." Jonathan remained true to his friend David till he died. And as expected, even after the death of Jonathan, David also remained faithful to his friend, taking care of the descendants of Jonathan, caring for them as if they were his family members. Finally, a true friend loves you as he loves himself. Remember, Jesus tells us to love each other: “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). *Prayers* Bless the LORD for the beautiful gift of friendship. *Further Reading* John 15:15 [15] No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*L

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(4th September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Friendship Is A Gift From God I Samuel 18:3 - Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. *Message* C.S. Lewis wrote: "Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art ... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival. In friendship...we think we have chosen our peers. In reality a few years' difference in the dates of our births, a few more miles between certain houses, the choice of one university instead of another...the accident of a topic being raised or not raised at a first meeting--any of these chances might have kept us apart. But, for a Christian, there are, strictly speaking no chances. A secret master of ceremonies has been at work. Christ, who said to the disciples, ‘Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,’ can truly say to every group of Christian friends, ‘Ye have not chosen one another but I have chosen you for one another.’ The friendship is not a reward for our discriminating and good taste in finding one another out. It is the instrument by which God reveals to each of us the beauties of others.” *God expects us not to take for granted any of the blessings He has graciously bestowed upon us, including the gift of the friends He has given to us at different points of life.* *Prayers* Bless the LORD for the beautiful gift of friendship. *Further Reading* I Samuel 18:1 NKJV Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(3rd September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Social Wealth (5) I Samuel 18:3 - Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. *Message* You see, God can bring you into social wealth (a relationship with the individuals that matters for your destiny fulfillment), but you must maintain a noble posture to keep them. Several people today, though wealthy in some other aspects, are poor when it comes to social prosperity because they allow the people God has brought their way to slip away. The same way material prosperity can be lost is the same social wealth can be lost. The same way a person can go bankrupt materially is also applicable to social wealth. If an individual is careless with their material wealth, they can move into rags. In the same vein, if you are careless with your social prosperity, you can become poor in terms of having quality relationships with those that matter. So, let's go back to David and Jonathan. Jonathan saw what God saw in David, and this helped ensure the continuation of a quality relationship: *“The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). And David was “a man after God’s own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14).* Jonathan was a man of discernment who saw something very deep in David that wouldn't allow him to let go of the young man. Ensure your quality relationships keep seeing good and admirable qualities in you to want to keep you. This means you are also a valuable asset to the quality relationships God has planted around you. *Prayers* I'm led by the Spirit into the right relationships and friendships beneficial to my destiny. *Further Reading* I Samuel 16:7 NKJV [7] But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(2nd September, 2024)* by **Sunday Akanni** TOPIC: Social Wealth (4) I Samuel 18:1 - Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. *Message* Age difference shouldn't be a barrier when it comes to acquiring social wealth (i.e. building strategic connections and relationships that can be synthesized for destiny actualization). Don't forget, Jonathan was already a great man of war when he met a younger David. After David killed Goliath, the duo started an official relationship: I Samuel 18:1 - Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Jonathan would have taken time to study the young David before committing himself so much - which reveals how David excels in the skills of acquiring social wealth. It takes wisdom to conduct oneself in a noble fashion that will bring the necessary commitments from the necessary people. I Samuel 18:3 - Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. You can't have a penchant for exhibiting nasty and ugly character while expecting those that matter to "take you as you are." Don't chase away your destiny helpers with acts of immaturity! If David had been consistently immaturity, the older Jonathan would have ignored him! *Prayers* I'm led by the Spirit into the right relationships and friendships beneficial to my destiny. *Further Reading* I Samuel 18:3 - Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(1st September, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Social Wealth (3) I Samuel 23:16 [16] Then Jonathan, Saul’s son, arose and went to David in the woods and strengthened his hand in God. *Message* When you are skillful in acquiring social wealth, you can cross into whatever boundaries set by society. This has been the case with David and Jonathan - David was a shepherd; and Jonathan was a prince. David was raised in a small town in Bethlehem while Jonathan grew up in the palace. David never had a victim mentality that always blame everything for his circumstances. He might not have had the power to determine his family, but he sure knew his destiny lay in his hands, and he started enhancing his capacity to attract the right people he needed. While Jonathan had his own armor by virtue of privilege, David had a harp and a slingshot, and by being skillful with it, he was able to attract the Prince of Israel! Jonathan grew up in the palace and was trained in the art of war while David on his part was only trained to tend sheep, but he was growing in the things matter that would eventually draw nobility to him. Now, see this, Jonathan was the oldest son of Saul and in line to inherit the throne of Israel. David on his part was the youngest of eight boys and has also been anointed by Samuel to be the next king in place of Jonathan. In spite of all of these, the duo remained great covenant friends that proved productive beyond measure! You should be aware already that social prosperity is integral to destiny fulfillment. Build a strategic friendship with people that matters for destiny fulfillment. *Prayers* I'm led by the Spirit into the right relationships and friendships beneficial to my destiny. *Further Reading* Matthew 4:19-20 [19] Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” [20] They immediately left their nets and followed Him. *N.B: TO GET THIS DIRECTLY ON WHATSAPP, KINDLY SEND "WISDOM FOR DESTINY" TO EITHER 2348185021024 OR SUNDAYAKANNIOFFICIAL@GMAIL.COM*

Wisdom For Destiny Daily Devotional *(31st August, 2024)* by *Sunday Akanni* TOPIC: Social Wealth (2) I Samuel 23:16 [16] Then Jonathan, Saul’s son, arose and went to David in the woods and strengthened his hand in God. *Message* You should be aware already that social prosperity is integral in destiny fulfillment. It's a sort of currency that can be utilized to obtain various other types of prosperity as necessary per time. This was one of the things that helped David vehemently - he was wealthy or prosperous in and with his relationships with people. David build strategic friendship with someone like Jonathan, and he always utilized his relationship for his progress in matters of destiny. Remember, David came from an average family in Israel and he seemed disadvantaged already in society (in fact, even in his family, he was vehemently relegated). However, the young David, though poor materially, was silently accumulating the skills of acquiring social wealth. The very first time he was launched to spotlight in Israel was when he killed Goliath. But you see, he employed his social wealth skill to make certain soldiers agree to take him to the King. If not, he won't have been able to utilise those nameless soldiers to step into a higher realm. This us why, as a believer, you should be led by the LORD into covenant and life-transforming relationships with people you might not even expect to have the fortitude to play a role in your destiny actualization.
