Sanwo-Olu has abandoned governance for Tinubu’s campaign -Adegboruwa

Legal practitioner, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has said Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has abandoned his official duties.

He noted that since the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu joined the race, Sanwo-Olu has abandoned governance.

In a statement on Saturday, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) said the Lagos helmsman now acts as Tinubu’s “unofficial campaign manager, media strategist and personal anchorman”.

LOL, same Obi grin , I thought his people said PDP is now an evil party. Corruption is bad when it doesn't favour them, they were praising Buhari, when they thought he will pick Jonathan or Ameachi, LOL, Buhari is now lifeless

Obi will not win this election, but he will try to win after Atiku or Tinubu, then he would be 70 years old, let's see if his people will support old man presidency.

Just say you hate Yorubas, and would rather go with hausas, same with yorubas, Obi is over 60, he is not a youth, you can't compare Obi achievements with that of Tinubu in Lagos.

Stop saying Tinubu's achievement in Lagos when u don't really know shit

Johnycastro18:
Nigeria problem right from the unset have always been religion and tribalism, i can assure you guys that most northerners that I know and have met have never really like atikwu that much, most donot even see him as a devout dedicated Muslim,

the last election which he manage to do well ( even though he loss) was as a result of people's anger towards buharis government and the will of the people to try and force APC out of power.

fortunately with buhari now out of power, alot of this northerners even though they would love to vote another northerner to take over, atikwu is not really there preffered option, A kwankwaso wining the PDP ticket would have recieve a wider support from the northerners than atikwu.

Most of the northerners who I have talk to and relate with and are supporting atikwu are doing that base on religious or tribal sentiment, unlike buhari that was naturally loved by the north you can see the difference in support for this two.

My advice to this group of people though, is that politics don't always have to be always about sentiments and tribalism, you guys know atikwu is not the best for this country, drop sentiments aside and vote for that man which we all know have the capacity to change Nigeria, and peter obi is a man with that capacity.

I am a northerner myself, and I know if we choose to vote based on tribalism we are not doing ourselfs any good, buhari presidency is a typical example of how someone from your own region can betray and disappoint you.

God bless u for this submission...U've won my heart
Politics / Re: Between A Muslim-Muslim Ticket and A Return Of Presidency to North by Interesting2023: 12:45pm On Jun 10, 2022
PassingShot:
I have read a lot of people saying "no to Muslim-Muslim ticket" even before Asiwaju emerged. Now that he has emerged as the standard bearer of APC with Atiku as the major challenge to him, I wonder why a Muslim-Muslim ticket of Tinubu presidency is not better than a return of the presidency to north possibly for another eight years after 8 years of PMB.

Like or loathe APC, it has demonstrated being a truly progressive party by standing with a return of the presidency to the South even after Atiku had emerged as PDP's candidate. PDP damned everything common sense by making Atiku emerge with possibility of keeping the presidency in the north and a lot of people seem not to care because PDP is doing what they need to do to win the election without considering fairness and equity.

I am strongly convinced that when the time comes, majority of voters will side with an APC' Muslim-Muslim ticket which returns presidency to the south and reject a Muslim-Christian ticket which keeps the presidency to the north for another eight years to make it 16 straight years of Northern dominance.

Just give up on your 2015/2019 thinking. Does it have to be only those two u shud vote for. U these people are not thinking well at all and it only shows u've not suffered enough

shigishege:
You know I'm just wondering, about the 5% south east votes that has been further divided by APGA, APC, PDP, and LP?? Because most of Eastern governors and leaders won't work for Obi in 2023. Most of them have already swear thier loyalty with Tinubu. See how everything went down during this primaries, even thier politician brothers are very tired and lost hope about Nigeria politics now. They have now resulted in supporting major contenders. VP is not even sure for them anymore.

Obi is on his own on this his journey.nhe will surely walk alone. Umahi, okorocha, uzodinma will work for APC. Egwanyi will work for PDP. Soludo will work for APGA. Who will work for Labour Party??

These your submission will only work if it is going to be business as usual where the so called leader u made mention that won't work for Peter Obi shared money among their followers thinking they've bought them already and these voters now turned to vote whomever they want. Then itz all gonna be waste of money

No matter the person he picked. Atiku is dead on arrival.

Tinubu is our next president, the APC northern governors has his back 100% and they will delivered for him there.

If you doubt me just re- watch how this primary election pan out they are the one insisting on southern presidency, and if you think they are not serious with it, you must be joking.

Tinubu doesn't go for what he is not sure he will win or get, that's why he has no elective position since 2007, Tinubu will go all out and crush Atiku, you will be surprised that he will beat Atiku in most northern state especially the k's state.

Tinubu is a master strategist.

It will only reveal how gullible some voters are if the same mistake of 2015 was repeated at next year's election. Theses are the same set of people that packaged us a failure in 2015 and they still want to re-package another one come next year. If that man that speaks about his past record of bringing Enron, the first private PPP that generated electricity in Nigeria and Econet which metamorphosed to Airtel today and yet you said he said Jargons. Peter Obi took the best decision by pulling out from the dollarized primaries of the PDP. Nigerians will be voting for an individual that has integrity and clean past this time around, we are tired of APC and PDP.
2023 election will be a very interesting one as it won't be the traditional 2horse race as it may get up to 4 or 5 this time around.
Peter Obi's chances will depend on how well he play his cards. I see him as a favored candidate, he has majority of the youth population queuing behind him.

Which yoots are u referring to? Is it those that are looking for any possible means to japa and don't give a shit about the election, abi those that will just rant on social media platforms and go to sleep, abi those wey neva get PVC or even think of getting...

Obi would have been a better choice...Peter Obi made a big political miscalculation, he shouldn't have come pit yet for the presidency, he ought to have supported the Atiku candidacy, help him win with his SE votes...this will surely align him for the presidency in rhe next 8years which would have definitely been the South turn again, by then he would have had a massive Northern support...With this mistake Obi will forever be at the fringes of power...I love the man, but he didn't choose his fight rightly...
