I will be heading to the bank tomorrow for explanations

Kindly quote amount you invested and the supposed upfront interest you got as well.

My mind is telling me you did not do your calculation properly.

I do the mutual fund type, and yes you need a domiciliary account as that is where your interest will be sent. Minimum is 1,000 USD dollars then a subsequent 500 USD minimum anytime you like.

You can choose between Stanbic, FBN quest or United Capital. They will put you through. Just visit their site, email or call them.

Note Stanbic calls theirs the Dollar fund. Forgotten what Fbn calls theirs. But just talk to them they will understand what you want.

Also I read sonehwere that, Stanbic charges 20% of the profit (interest rate)... Its this true?

Good info you have here. I have dom account with Stanbic. How is the dollar fund interest rate calculated. Do you have idea of the maximum investment amount one can do.

I want to venture into this kind of investment, any little info you can give to assist will be appreciated.

but I can still buy from secondary market? Right.

Yes sure. You can always buy from Secondary market.
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Internetboy: 3:22am On Nov 29, 2018
Is it better to reinvest the upfront interest rate, use it to buy dollar or use the upfront interest as daily expenses because you must spend money daily.

Which is more economically wise.

First bank gave me a about 14% for 364-day tenure last week. I am sure that next week primary market auction would be higher or the same. Use First bank

Did you get 14% rate with FB on Secondary or primary rate?

Please respond to this, its important.

I thought so too, May God bless your words

Please can you state where we can be monitoring the crude oil prices. Do you normally update urself on random news, or you check a particular site(s)? (for crude prices)

On the stable economy you quoted with reasons, I pray so because I'm lockup for 364 days in next primary auction.

What was Gtbank or StanbicIBTC last primary rate for 91,182 and 364 tenors .

Next TB primary auction is 29/11/2018. I want to lock up 15mill for 364, targeting 14% rate which is around 2,100,000.00 Naira.

Tbill is really a sweet investment when you have idle cash .

Please Gtbank and stanbic which one gives better rates in Primary market .

I have used FBN , their rates are not so good.
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Internetboy: 10:05am On Nov 16, 2018
My TB matured yesterday 15th November., 2018. I want to lock it up for 364days. Should I wait for next bidding on Primary market or should I find a good rate in Secondary market little above @14%

I also have tbills that is maturing Sunday in my i-invest app. Congrats. Let's keep growing our money.

How does the i-invest app works, good to know you are using it. I have read about it, I am aware they do not pay upfront interest rate.

Please let me know how I can configure one and maximum amount one can invest via the app

Some one on this forum said TB is addictive, honestly it seems so.

I want to lock up 12m for 364 days no matter the rate I will take it, is better than living funds idle in the bank account . If I get 13% fine, that's around 1,560,000 naira.

If we understand that men are in sizes; there will be no difference in whether or not one invests a particular amount. This is especially because the interest is a percentage of the sum invested.

The fellow who invests his treasured N100k for 364 days and gets N13,100.00 interest for instance should treasure the interest like the mogul who invested N10m for the same period and gets N1.31m... rate is same.

I got the logic ✌. Pure truth.

The way I see this, the contributor makes payment every month for 3 or 5 years (depending on the investment plan chosen) without getting anything in return. The bank then begins paying the receivable sum (which has interest already factored in) to the recipient from the 4th or 6th year (of course, depending on the investment plan chosen).
The Doubble Lump Sum plan is different in only one area - total contribution is made one time instead of monthly. Still payout will only begin in the 6th year.

I cannot bear to send money somewhere and not get anything in return within a year, talk more of 3 or 5 years.

Sterling Bank sent me notification on this particular investment. I must say that people that structured the investment are not quite intelligent.

I have personally evaluated it, total nonsense.

Election is around the corner, many investors will pause to invest further during this upcoming election period, due to fear of the unknown. Meanwhile, as demand decreases rate increases. The risk takers & strong minded individuals will make good money this time around.

Expect rates to increase during ending of November and December.

I could mention lot of factors that would necessitate interest rate increment by the CBN.

My TB will mature on 11th November or thereabout. I am projecting to lodge my funds for 364/days on an interest rate of 14.5%-15.5%.

Jay95:

Wow, Thanks Alot for this.... But, are we assuming that auction for a WHOLE YEAR is 13% or that's how it is actually?

The 13% mentioned by @jay95 is based on assumptions, the interest rate fluctuates and can be less or more than the assumed 13% as quoted . The interest rate is solely regulated by CBN in conjunction with the FG of Nigeria.

Hope this helps.

Some of these so called celebrities would just be talking trash & lubbish to feel relevant. No one sprayed more than 200k in that scene.

So if I attend a friends wedding and spray more than 200k to show love, you then mean I do not do legit business.

Forget this people.

Check your account balance. You might not receive alert. I used 1st bank too and noticed they paid on Friday when I got alert for a different transaction.

After your input, I noticed that they credited me without sending alert message.

Thank you, your comment helped me.

I plan to invest in TB day. I operate accounts with GTBANK ,FIRST BANK AND STANBIC BANK . Pls which BANK is better to use in general . It's the primary bidding over for the week ? If yes , should I invest in secondary market immediately or wait till next bidding for primary market option ?

Someone said primary market rate is far better than secondary market rate . What's the difference between the two markets .
