Here is how the story started. I'm good friends with one woman that lives close to me and she has an enemy that also lives close by. It seems this her enemy is really envious of her.
I still greet her enemy whenever i see her. Recently, i started sending her enemy's younger daughter on an errand to help me charge my phone and bring it back during evening time. I pay her monthly for the job. Her daughter started the job, was doing it well intially but the problem is she returns the phone very late at night. Sometimes even around 8pm, i warned her several times to stop bringing my phone back late at night and latest by 5pm she should return it. I talked to her night is not safe for anyone especially girls.
She never listened, continued bringing my phone back late at night. Her mother wasn't really happy she was working for me.
She normally comes to beg me for money or foodstuffs and i give to her. I observed she lies a lot but kept watching her closely..
She came one morning with a huge wound at her back, i asked her what happened. She told me she was carrying hot water and bike hit her and the water fell and poured on her back. I felt sorry for her, even gave her some money.
Today i don't know who went to tell her mother that i was gossiping with my friend (her rival) that her daughter is eating my money. The mother came yelling at me that i should stop sending her daughter on an errand and she want nothing to do with me and it was because of me she poured hot water on her daughter's back and i was shocked to find out that was what really happened because this is not what the daughter told me.
I asked the daughter to say the truth and she said she came back one night with my phone and her mother got angry and started flogging her and poured hot water on her back. I knew it was because of how late she goes to bring it back that got her mother so angry and i warned severally to stop going out so late.
Now everyone blames me for what happened to her and i feel so terrible seeing the wound on her back..
Really don't know why honesty is a big problem for some people.
We should be learning to control our temper. I know her mother feels remorse now for what she did to her daughter. No wonder i read some news some wives stab their husband to death during fight or arguement.
