If you take Paracetamol for headache, in a few minutes the pain goes away.

But with prayers, the patient is only relying on hope and wishful thinking. It
gets worse knowing that “miracles” are neither repeatable nor guaranteed.

If prayers are as powerful as they claim, the same people who brought Christianity
will be offering easy pathway to citizenship to African pastors instead of doctors and nurses.

In this eye-opening video, I visit a real UK building site, carry heavy blocks, mix cement, and chat with bricklayers to find out what they ACTUALLY earn in just 8 hours!
General labourer (feeding blocks): £150/day ≈ ₦290,000–₦300,000+ (at current rates!)
Beginner bricklayer: £200/day ≈ ₦380,000+ Naira!
Compare that to typical Nigerian bricklayer pay (₦5,000–₦20,000/day) — the difference is massive! Is japa worth it? 💭 (Remember: UK has taxes, high bills & living costs — but the raw earnings are wild!)
This is raw, on-site truth — no cap! 🔥

It is the society. The way Africa is structured, religion is so entertwined with sales, marketing, motivational speeches that the only remarkable difference is the name Jesus used by Christianity. Unscrupulous minds realized this a long time ago and are using it for maximum benefits. It is a matter of semantics. Religion and cult are interchangeable. Members behave alike and see others as competitors, enemies, rivals.

HealthRe: Sorry, We Don’t Have That Drug: A Common Pharmacy’s Mantra by InvertedHammer: 8:12pm On Jan 10
Onetechnews:
If you ask anyone why they stopped buying drugs from the pharmacy in their area, the answer is almost always one thing:

“They don’t have the drug.”

That sentence alone has chased more customers away than high prices ever did.

Honestly, this phrase is common in almost every pharmacy. Sometimes they don’t even say it out loud, you can already see it in their face before they speak. And deep down, you start asking yourself: why did they even open a pharmacy if they’ll always be saying they don’t have the drug?

Now imagine this.

You just closed from work after a very stressful day. You’re on medication, and you get home only to realize the drug has finished. Instantly, frustration starts kicking in. You begin blaming yourself, why didn’t I check this drug in the morning before leaving the house?

Then suddenly, you remember there’s this pharmacy you always pass on your way to work. You’re not even sure they’ll have your drug, but judging by how big the pharmacy is, they should have it… right?

So you go there.

To your greatest surprise, well, not really surprise, they don’t have the drug. At this point, you’re already used to hearing that answer, so you try to be calm. Maybe the drug isn’t that common. Maybe it’s a special prescription. Fair enough.

But then you ask a simple question:

“Do you have Panadol or paracetamol?”

And they reply, very confidently, “It’s finished.”

That’s when anger enters fully.

Paracetamol?
Of all drugs?
Is Finished?

You just stand there thinking, what exactly is on these shelves? At first, you were being considerate. You told yourself, okay, maybe the first drug isn’t common. But paracetamol? That’s like the bread of a pharmacy. That’s the drug people buy without even thinking.

So which kind of pharmacy is this?

At that moment, something changes. You already know you’re not coming back. Not because of one drug, but because of the pattern. Today it’s your drug. Tomorrow it will be another one. Next time, they’ll tell you to “check back next week.”

And let’s be honest, most of these pharmacies don’t even say, “Sorry, we don’t have it.” They just say it casually, like it’s normal. No alternatives. No explanation. No effort to help you find it elsewhere. Or when you ask if there is another place where you can get the drug, they might not answer.

That’s how customers are lost.

Have you ever walked into a pharmacy with hope, only to hear those four words: “We don’t have that drug”? If you have, then you already understand this pain. Share your experience
/

The way Nigeria is structured, there are some medications you should have readily available at home in case of emergency. If you don't, you are gambling with your life. Analgesics, bandaids, 91% alcohol, even antibiotics (even though prone to abuse), etc should be in your medicine cabinet at home.

From everything she's saying, it seems there's someone working in the hospital feeding them with inside information which may or may not be correct.

The child's death could be due to negligence on the part of the hospital, he could also still have died if it was in the US. Only an autopsy can save that anaesthesiologist now.

A trip to any Nigerian hospital is a close shave with death. Nigerians believe more in "packaging" than professionalism. Beautiful edifices alone do not make a good hospital. Nigeria happened to her and her family. Propofol shouldn't be administered to anyone not on mechanical ventilation. If and when used, it is prior to immediate intubation preparatory for artificial ventilation.

Like I always point out, there is a reason why there are more than 20 mortuaries along the highway from Okigwe - Port-Harcourt. Death seems more profitable than saving lives.

The only stumbling block to Tinubu’s re-election is Trump.
Maduro bought the legislatures and judiciary in Venezuela but
Trump overrode all that shenanigans in one smooth move.

That moment Akpabio lamented that Trump is watching them
in the Senate is remarkable and significant. It is good to know
that there exists a man that can strike fears in the heart of
Nigerian politicians and make them behave accordingly.

What decades of prayers and fasting couldn’t do for hapless Nigerians in distress
was achieved by Trump by mere Presidential proclamation while our President is
struggling with insubordination by recalcitrant police officers who escort VIPs.
Interesting!

PoliticsRe: Why Nigerians Seeking Trump’s Protection Should Rethink – Lai Olurode by InvertedHammer: 12:52pm On Jan 05

The big hole in the argument is that the Nigerian masses are not feeling any positive impact from the
Natural resources. Inflation is hitting hard and the only thing they know about their natural resources
is the billions of dollars they read on news outlets that have been embezzled or looted without any
repercussions.

Nigerians are not asking a lot. Driving through that dual carriage way from Awka to Ekwulobia at night,
does anyone care how much was looted in that project? No! The joy in that road is enough to cover
any shortcomings of the government. But the sad reality is that many government officials in Nigeria
fail to deliver. In other words, pre and post invasion by foreign powers make no difference and no one
feels threatened except the looters and their enablers exemplified by this ex-INEC chairman.

Dogalmighty17:
Anthony Joshua finally entered Road Safety Hilux. He saw first hand how Nigeria doesn't have ambulance for emergencies.

The only reason why Joshua survived is that the front of the vehicle he was in had absorbed the force of the impact and most of it plus his friends had been crushed under the truck leaving no more room for the remaining parts of the car to be compressed in otherwise Joshua would have been history today.

Toxicology reports if conducted, will show that they all had alcohol in their system. Otherwise, why was Joshua bare chested in a car with A/C?

Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is bad. Passengers are advised to get a dedicated, sober and responsible driver for a reason. So why is sobriety test needed on AJ and the passengers?

Why are they shedding crocodile tears? Is it today that FRSC look the other way while truck/trailers with no rear lights or warning lights of any kind ply the roads. Some have one headlight, missing rear/brake lights and too bad in a shape to be on the roads at night. They park randomly at night with no warning lights. No! FRSC is more interested in expired tires and fire extinguishers in private and small commercial vehicles.
