To satisfy ourselves i think there is a phone number on that mobil's letter of acceptance to comandclem let the doubters call that line to verify if the letter is from mobil. though the exact amount is not included. Comandclem told mobil that they are no more collecting $2 p/b but $10 p/b and the calculation is for 20yrs and is based on 22 oct 1999 mobil's publication of b/d crude oil production in nigeria.
"Call the number on the document"
that is the exact phrase which fraudsters now use to commit fraud. They know the document is fake, they know the number is planted and will be answered by a Comandclem dunce who had been trained to speak like a Mobil boss.
Only stark illiterates will fall for that half brained yarn.

@ invisible, see new this but might have thought that comandclem wouldn't be able financially to pursue his course in court and the case will die just like that. But i think its insurance that will step in to pay this money. Comandclem is a non political, religious and non tribal company that u will think its another way obj and co is using to scam, but lets keep our fingers crossed
you dont understand yet, there is no case anywhere. Comandclem has this whole thing figured out. His image or tribal opinions matter for nothing in this case. Its fraud we are talking about and most times, the cleaner they seem, the more crooked they turn out to be. This is Nigeria.

Hi guys in the house, prof. clement uwemedimo/ comandclem is not a scammer. The fed. min. of commerce and industry knows him, the presidency since obj's tenure in 1999 knows him, now this payment will pass through the CBN, his offices are spread accross the 36 states of the federation and fct. How then is he a scammer. this man school in the US and Germany as an agronomist. Visit this site: www.africareview.com/king clement uwemedimo.
This is the type of comments that make me laugh, that a popular person cannot steal just because obj, (another rogue) knows him?
I have said this before, anybody who lose money to scammers does so because he believes things too quickly. See the level we have sunk to?

Comandclem used total barrels on CRUDE, CONDENSATE, NATURAL LQ GAS, and GAS produced

See attached document
All the products are still part of the company and forms the statistics which gave market capitalization of 329b dollars. From what texaspette posted, there is no way Mobil could pay 236b dollars without selling 70% of everything it owns in Nigeria and overseas, including

rigs
oil fields
tankers
oil wells
tank farms
research labs
admin blocks
cars

He cannot be the accuser and the Judge at the same time.
The real case against those bank MDs was not that they did what was wrong but that they got too rich. Sanusi was using his own money to chase women while his mates were buying up Nigeria. The highest thing he should have done was to ask them to pay up their loan like every other person. Bad belle politics.

I got an SMS yesterday claiming i had won 150000 naira in the 'La Casera promo'. Do i need to go to EFCC before i know this is fake?
You hear someone say they agreed to collect $239 billion as payment for using PAINT! Do you need to go to EFCC before you know this is fake?

The snippet of news i pasted from the Nation was dated early this year. At that time, the case had already been progressed to the Supreme Court. And Commandclem's lawyer was asking for around $3 billion. When have you heard that someone agreed to pay almost 100 times what the claimant was asking for?

Mobil will not comment on this issue since the case is in court. And it's no skin off their butt if people are gullible and foolish enough to believe this fairy tale. Why don't YOU go to the Supreme Court and confirm if the case is truly there before asking people to go to Mobil to ask questions about a crystal clear scam?

While you're at it, why don't you ask yourself why Mobil's stock price still remains stable, why no reputable newspaper has carried this.
Also ask yourself how Commandclem can be claiming that their 'invention' is the only thing that allows production of crude oil offshore, while it's on record that Deep offshore drilling and production has been moving along since the 1950s at the earliest?
God bless you, even this morning, I got a text message on my phone that I have won N10m from MTN for a promo which I dont know about. If I go ahead and pay them the 50 thousand naira they are asking me to pay, should I expect EFCC or MTN to come on air and announce that its fake. Some things dont need much investigation to unravel.

1. I got to know about comandclem in 2008. I dont know when they started collecting REGISTRATION FEES(not deposits as in wonderbanks). They made it crystal clear to people that part of money would be used to finance the legal cases and other administrative activities. Whoever registered knew the case might be in favour of Comandclem or otherwise. So nobody could claim he was swindled back then. However, after the Judgment of December 9, 2009, Comandclem started assuring whoever registers of some benefits as soon as Mobil pays.

2. The case in court was not about $239 billion. It was about Mobil reneging on paying comanclem $2 per barrel since 1980. Mobil denied ever having such with Comanclem. The court ruled that comandclem could not provide proofs, hence could not be paid. However, since Comandclem got
the patent right in August 1999, whoever uses the invention is obliged to Comandclem. Comandclem reserves the right to the invention. This culminated in another negotiation with Mobil. The $239 is the new agreed amount from the negotiation.

3. mobil said the money would be paid in 4 installments, with the first payment coming in, before the end of the year.

My point is this-  The court ruled in favour of Comandclem as the owner of the invention by way of patent right. This means whoever uses the product from 1999 till date owes Comandclem royalties. Comandclem is saying Mobil has agreed to pay $239 billion and they back this up with a supposed letter from Mobil. The onus is on Mobil to disclaim or confirm the letter. If Mobil kept silent on this matter, then these are the probabilities:

1. The document is authentic but Mobil intends to disclaim it later when they refuse to pay which will provoke another round of litigation against them, all to buy time and frustrate CNL

2. The document is authentic and Mobil will pay
I must commend you for your countenance in this issues. I like your answers.
1. You got to know about comandclem in 08, but my boy had already paid them since 2004/2005 and has heard nothing since then.
2. This one you have made clear, the court proved that comandclem have no rights to claim anything from Mobil, how come mobil will enter another agreement to pay comandclem anything?

Justcash:
It is totally not a surprise that Nigerians are somewhat Critical, Pessimistic and antagonistic when it comes to any good news about Nigeria. A result of years of misrule and disappointment.
Funny thing is that if you observe properly, 80% of the people throwing tantrums here are living abroad. Ironically, most of them (Especially the teens here) are dependent on money sent from Nigeria by their folks, who happen to be doing well in Nigeria.
I just observed that Nigerians will wake up one day and discover that Nigeria is actually developing, and it will seem like magic to them. That was exactly how we woke up and saw the telecoms revolution, the change in banking sector and even the growth in the entertainment industry (Movie and music). They always happen like magic.

There is no doubt that the economy is growing. To ensure development in the country, the growth needs to be complemented through the provision of basic and advanced infrastructures. I have seen some steps taken by the government (State and federal) in all the sectors of the country e;g Power, banking, manufacturing, roads, security etc. They need to be expanded and sustained over many years for them to reach everywhere in the country.

Note that it will still take years to ensure a proper provision of these infrastructures e.g GEJ and his team will need to sustain the pace at which they strive to solve the power problem in the country, over a period of years before it can be solved. It cannot be solved overnight. It is the quality and type of leadership in place that can ensure the achievement of those goals. That is why we must not let anti-developmental leaders to ever lead us. If we do, we will be heading back to the abyss, after crawling up with lots of difficulty.
I used to be as optimitic as you, chose to live here in naija instead of moving abroad when I had the chance. Today all I see are evidences that we love to take one step foward and three backwards.
There is more hope for sharks to live on dry land, than for these thieving politicians to save this nation. Enjoy your tuna fish out there in Japan, just remember to bring the bones back home to naija, as some of your hungry neighbors may need it someday for dinner.

@fyneguy, please help me with this questions.

1. When exactly did comandclem start collecting deposits from pantentees, 3, 4 or 7 years ago?

2. Whn did the courts order the 239 billion dollars to be paid to commandclem, immediately, next year or in the next 100 years?

3. When did Mobil agree to pay in the money into comandclem accounts ? Next month, next ten years or whenever they get the money after liquiating assets and selling their company?

Well the bible itself has a couple of things to say about Satan. The first one refers to the current activities of Satan
Be sober, be vigilant for your adversarythe devil,as a roaring lion, walketh about ,seeking whom he may devour.(1Peter5 verse8)
The next one is wholly prophetic and refers to the time when he would indeed be cast into the abyss by an angel-just one angel mind you
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on Satan and bound him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:1,2)
I have never faulted your quotations, just the way it relates to our topic of discussion, in the first quotation, the devil is roaring all over the world and looking for who to devour, how can we prove its juju that brings the satan and not our fellow man, acting out our hatred on each other. Dont tell me the devil allows them to sin, have you ever seen a devil before?

In the second quote, seems like a revealation of things that will happen after you die, I dont think dead men have anything to fear from juju. It wont matter anymore as the only thing the bible say is next is jugement.

They are correct, consider these facts;
More GSM lines as a result of changing lines to migrate to networks with lower charges eg swapping from MTN to GLO and then dropping the two sims to buy Etisalat. I have more than 15 lines lying on my table now.

More education as the public schools are back in the competition (less students failed O levels this year?) forget the 3 months ongoing strike, our lecturers in the east are lazy.

Our economy grew also in the transport sector, more electric trains now ply from Bonny to Kaura Namoda. Even there has been no hold up on lagos-benin road in 2 years due to our good roads.

Manufacturing is growing, we stopped buying fake products from China, All our neeeds are now provided by Innoson.

There has been no power failure for 3 years now.

Comandclem won 239 billion dollars from Mobil and is sharing money like its going out of fashion.

Our pastors have reversed religious colonialism, TB Joshua is bringing Obama to the synagogue to mediate in an oath taking between Netanyahu and Abbas.

Genevieve Nnaji now earns more than Will Smith in her movies.

Our stock maket indices closed at 68,945:61 basis points.

Daar communications has signed an MOU to buy over CNN and BBC.

Chinese govt has asked to buy 400 fighter jets from Nigeria, manufactured in Kano by Chanchangi. (they loved the name)

Wake up from sleep, its morning already, the only way we could score 3rd in the world in any good thing is if you are counting from the bottom of the list!

Report to Nigerian authorities? I laugh in swahili. I will not bore you with what happened the last time I went out to report my car was stolen, paid for their fuel, recharge card and feeding money to look for the car. They have not seen my car since January. Forget that side, we sabi ourself, comandcle sabi too, that he can make them frustrate anyone with any info about the scam. Just give the hungry officials some change from the patentee loot. If am comandclem, the police chief will be chopping N2000 of every patent cash. He can settle his boys from the money.

Am happy you are not playing this with all your money, just remember the poor Joe Simple who will read you and sell his fathers house and throw the cash there. I heard suicide is not funny.

You have been avoiding two of my questions.
1. When did comandclem start recieving patent money from Nigerians, 2,4 or 6 years?
2. What date did the courts give mobil to pay the cash or mobil agree to pay into comandclem accounts, one year, five years or 100 years (whenever they get the cash)?

My point is if Mobil is aware of those documents on Comandclem's website and they refused to disclaim them or take comandclem up on it then it's either comandclem is right or Mobil is a part of the scam.

FYI, mobil is aware of those documents. I know they are. if you dont believe, send copies by fax to Mobil.
You know they are aware, But look at it this way, why would a big corporate giant like Mobil fall into the bait of attacking a fraudulent set up like comandclem? Wasting precious time to join issues with fraudsters could give the crowd the wrong impression that Mobil have a case to answer and is trying to muzzle the mouth of comandclem.

Comandclem understands this logic, and is using the gap to exploit the masses. Say Hi to saipn.
