FamilyRe: How Can You Tell A Good Man? by invisible2(m): 9:49pm On Sep 29, 2010
Good men are blunt and direct to the points, they dont mince words and state their likes and dislikes ahead. Some good men are shy and very gentle, not an aggresive, opportunistic lazy types that produce excuses about everything.
CultureRe: What Has Been Your Experience With Juju? by invisible2(m): 9:23pm On Sep 29, 2010
juju will never work, its dead anyway and a guise to extort or confuse people. I will tell you another story about people. My community assked everyone to come back for a compulsery prayer session to purge the land and correct generational curses which have been working against the people, making them poor. (as if they are poorer than everyone else?) to cut a long story short, the men came and held a long prayer, collected money and were looking for juju buried in some compounds ( as if there is any house in the olden days where things were not buried) they even asked people to show them spots to dig.
At the end of the day nothing was found so they started pinting at trees and the trees were cut down because they contained juju. Nobody has gotten richer there ever since. Those that have money are those who make effort and the lazy juju believers are still waiting for a majic wand to 'suddenly' make them rich.
PoliticsRe: Kidnappers Hijack A School Bus Of 15 Pupils In Aba by invisible2(m): 9:06pm On Sep 29, 2010
I hate blame games and will therefore suggest that the people still livivng in Aba organize strong vigilante in every street/area and guard themselves as the situation is getting out of hand.
CultureRe: What Has Been Your Experience With Juju? by invisible2(m): 8:45pm On Sep 29, 2010
@lastpage, I think your whole post is taking this things out of the real question. You only needed to answer that juju is real and give your own version or experience and not bore us with you long epistle which will leave the reader more confused. Juju does not exist, or why is it hidden, shrouded in secrecy (the bible is open to all, so is the quoran)
Dont talk about the freemasons cause you will be committing the same offence twice; accusing a group you dont belong to of acts which you dont know if they practice. Cults are meant to bring like minded people together to pursue their commom agenda which could be selfish, carnal, or illegal and they prefare secrecy to cover their tracks. We know the bible has quotes about magic and powers but its written with the directive of God. Show me the juju 'bible' and give me quotes of magic from the juju books.
My point? Dont confuse the bible and juju.
CultureRe: What Has Been Your Experience With Juju? by invisible2(m): 8:24pm On Sep 29, 2010
100%:
But there was a man named Simon, who had previously practiced magic in the city ,
A man named Simon lived in that city. He amazed the people of Samaria with his ,
in the city, using magic arts, and astonishing the nation of Samaria, , ACTS 8:9

IF U BELIEVE JUJU DOES NOT EXIST YOU ARE AN IGNORAMUS,
This is what you get, insults from ignorant, half educated illiterates who cannot comprehend superior facts. Who says illiteracy is not deadlier than AIDS?
CultureRe: What Has Been Your Experience With Juju? by invisible2(m): 10:25am On Sep 29, 2010
When people watch magicians in naija, its due to juju and not due to mastery like the great Houdini and other circus shows. Magicians eat bottle but not the same one I broke just now with sharp jutted edges. They charm snakes and scorpion and our people attribute this to juju, and not just normal animal taming. Ignorance has been passed down many generations and it have now become established facts, people can fight and kill to defend their dead ancestors beliefs, even before superior logic. A magician claimed to cook rice and tasted same, the cooked rice came out of thin air, yet the same 'food maker' was begging people to buy his cheap drugs. Ironic.
People should just wake up and smell the 'akamu'

Another one is the fallacy that you could shoot someone with a gun or cut someone with a machete and he will not die. I have one sentence for you, well the gun was not shot by me! If i shoot you, you will be very very very dead!
419 started in the olden days, those days native doctors dey chop people mugu, those days they chop your sheep and goats for one simple solution which may never work and you come back with yam and palm oil to appease the gods. Pretty village girls are accused of being witches and mammy water so the family can bring the young girl to the native doctor to live untill the spirits leave the babe. Within this time the girl is kept inside probably drugged and the witch doctor used his male "koboko" to flog the girls privates till weeks while you think she is working on the girl. If the girl gets pregnant, she will remain there and will not go back.
CultureRe: What Has Been Your Experience With Juju? by invisible2(m): 8:51am On Sep 29, 2010
Have lived soooo long in Nigeria and still seen no proof of juju, not one. All i see are third party accounts of spurious claims where a little digging will show the whole story of juju to be that of an ignorant person trying to explain away what he dont understand.

The case of making rain is a good example, people fix festivities in rainy season and since weather forcast is not perfect here, the rain can pour down any moment. The people will find a scapegoat and say its rainmakers that were not settled, my pal settled the rainmaker in his village and still we were drenched to our panties on his fathers burial, guess what, people came up with the story that there are other rainmakers in other villages that were not settled. How many rainmakers can one settle to ensure they stop the rain? Will come back with more examples later.

PropertiesRe: 13 Reasons Why You Should Build Your Own House. by invisible2(m): 5:06am On Sep 28, 2010
Build where you will live now, dont go to your village and build a costly mansion and come back to the city to pay rent. These are the types that harrass the landlord and remind them "Oga, if only person dey carry house travel"
young men of 25+ build houses in the village and then come back and live in the city for the next 50 years, paying rent for 50 years before retiring to the village to live in the now desolate,

outdated mansions.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil because thou art with me. It is in the bible, I don't know how our preacher friend didn't see that quote.

Ibb have tooooooooo many questions to answer, I still feel he cannot answer any of those questions well. From the bottom of our worst presido lists, ibb is only better than Abacha. We cannot reward fraud with another tenure.

FamilyRe: Dependence After Grad: Why are so many young people taking so long to grow up? by invisible2(m): 11:41am On Aug 21, 2010
Most young people want money on a platter nowadays. They don't want to suffer yet they want money. They lack imagination and drive to succeed, rather they want white collar jobs and big cars.

An an Ibo man, I feel we need a man with clean hands. He should not necessarly be Ibo but should work for the whole country. To me, ibb has blown his own chance when he had it, we cannot afford another trial, we don't have the time to test confirmed failures.

Anyone wishing ibb on us does not wish us well, simple. Even if there are no alternatives, even if we are all senseless, daft, dull, lazy, clueless, ignorant, timid, and stupid, we have one thing over ibb, and that is we didn't waste the future of over 100 miilion lives. Let another Nigerian rule.

To deal with Momah Ghaddafi, ibb released a national jet, fueled it and manned it with huge civilians posing as military officers. These men sought audience with Ghaddafi and when they told him they want to overthrow ibb, they needed funding for arms and to stage the coup that will oust ibb. The libyan presido paid, the guys came back to naija and shared the money with ibb.

This is the first official 419 scam recorded in Nigeria. And the scourge has not left us since. Evil genius!

Its better you speak english to them early, they are going to learn it later anyway, so why not start now. They will pick up the local dialect in the school, social settings. I think speaking english early helps them settle into academics and accept the already regular words early. That's why kids now seem more clever than before.

This is a man that took us on a merry-go-round for 8 blessed years and dropped us from where he picked us up after stripping us of all resources. This is a man who caused all the problems we are facing today. He killed the refineries by refusing to bring out money fo the turn around maintenance, killed Nepa by refusing to modernize its operations. He wanted oil money and when he made enough, he stepped aside, maybe he is going broke again and wants to stuff his dirty pockets once more.

Why are we so cursed as a nation?
