Let me know why your own is such a bargain.

Who wan support splitting sef, the housa needs the ibo man to trade with, the yoruba needs the food from the north.

Leave the ibo man alone with their brothers and they will tear each other to shreds, watch the serial drama in Anambra state, infact, we will be seperating wars in the east within two yrs.

Which ibo man go gree make im brother 'chop' his money? He go gree die with am.

And th yoruba man? That one lazy, only to throw owambe party them sabi. The housas will not see who go sell them goods and who go chop them Nama.

I am not critisizing any tribe please, I am only showing that we need each other to survive.

Most married ppl will readily ask for divorce, untill they see the pain their loneliness will cause them, plus the damage they will create be leaving open homes. Only then will they rethink and go back to their first love.

May we never divorce.

As I am typing now, I looked outside my window to see if the very very mad man on the street corner is still there, he is.

This was my good friend some eight years back, begging me to 'try it' just once, now weed has scattered his head.

More weed smokers will still join him on the streets.

IT IS LEGAL!
HealthRe: Weed Should Be Legalised In Nigeria? by invisible2(m): 10:48pm On Jan 19, 2008
I just asked the president and he says weed will be legalized soon, just get into your bedroom and smoke yourself to death!
Its legal.

The problem with splitting is that it will not stop with three countries carved out of this entity.

After you divide this country into three, the ijaws will want to get their own country to be selling oil to oyinbo, only for them pocket. The calabar ppl will want their own country, afterall they no dey hear the language of the ijaws, Delta state can divide into ten countries with this our thinking. Remember how many languages dey there.

I dont care who rules this country, be he Ibon Yoruba or Hausa, or even from senegal!
All i care for is good roads, water, electricity, security, food abundance and healthcare.

This country must change for the better!

Nigeria will continue to be together for its own good. It makes economic and business sense, ask seun! Do you think he will have as many ppl visiting this site if it were for yorubas only?

But we must stay together, i will soon také three wives, one from hausa, a yoruba and an Ibo.

As someone mentioned earlier, anyone who doesnt want this country to stick together should go and live in Dafour region.

Until the masses decides to celebrate the cancerous lifstyles of the dubiously rich, bad things will never stop.

Our leaders are allowed to rob us blind while we watch helplessly, hailing them all the way. Only to turn around one day and pretend that we dont know how rich they will be. OBJ and his family is corrupt, but can anybody go after them? No.
Yar adua is afraid,
Everybody is afraid. End of sermon.

Supposing this country gets better ,d everything about our ecomomy becomes boomy, where will all these our brothers stay when they come back.
Where are they going to work? Will the country be big enough to contain all these intelligent ppl?

Am thinking of a reversed brain drain!

@all, kausekey is a darling for posting that bid/ offer positions, the most prominent trigger point there is that AFRIBANK is no longer on the offer side, while PHB has disappeared from the bid side.

Note; they will swap places next week, around tuesday.
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by invisible2(m): 5:43pm On Jan 18, 2008

Friend! Be careful of all these banks that keep coming back for more public offers. What have they done with the ones they collected few months ago. I take about likes of UBA, Zenith, FirstBanks. Watchout the banking subsector will soon fall for the insurance subsector. We can all see it on secondary market!
Oh! is that right, thanks for the warning pal.
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by invisible2(m): 4:49pm On Jan 18, 2008
@Faketan, if there is so much demand for a particular stock, the stock will not be available for purchase by stock brokers on the floor of the exchange. It will remain scarce and the price may be going up if it is not on a technical suspension untill it rises so much. Then it will be deemed to be 'too expensive', so brokers will start selling them and it will become very available on the floors.

Normal demand and supply at work there.

Does anybody know what is pushing UAC Properties for three days running? Are we sure a fat payoff is not around the corner? Plus, year end is gone.

There is a difference between what was reported on Nigerian securies site and what I found on the NSE site. For example, Oando lost N3+ on the Nigerian securities site, but lost as much as N5+ on the NSE site.

Abi them rush their own before market closed?
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by invisible2(m): 11:59pm On Jan 17, 2008
Yeee! 200 pages, I better employ a good reader to do that searching for me. It will také like one year to read through.

I see a situation where GTB will release FY results by second week of february, less than a month from now.

They will want to keep up the speed of UBA and Zenith in releasing theirs so early in the year.

This bank will run in a short time, on your marks.

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by invisible2(m): 11:26pm On Jan 17, 2008
@ prince11, if the end year for Afribank is march, then the expectation of a good end year result will make ppl to také early position, just like UBN and FBN.
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by invisible2(m): 11:21pm On Jan 17, 2008
That news about banks unifying their year ending- when will it take effect? Does it mean they will stop giving end year results till december this year? How will AGM schedule look like, when all banks will be trying to hold theirs within Feb, March?

Something confuses me about the insurance sector, why is linkage still selling at a PE of around 7 and losing steam?

I thought it was cheap at that price. The EPS is even higher than that of Wapic at 54 kobon while Wapic stands at 22 kobo.

Am I missing something?
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by invisible2(m): 11:06pm On Jan 17, 2008
@ pumping, easimoni, wanajo, I have question, buying parent companies as against their subsidiaries/ branches, which is better, I am presently torn between buying UACN or UACP or CAP, see the link. Also am considering between AGLeventis NBC, Bete glass.

All sister companies, cant I just buy into UACN and still enjoy profits from UACP and CAP, since the profits will find its way into UACN PAT?

Help me out here guys.
