YourMain: I'm not naive and immature. I just find them boring and submissive and it's not my preference. when you have forked enough dicks, you will know better... I have seen your type before. Enjoy the fun while it last but soon, fun wouldn't be fun anymore. If you met my kind, I would bring you the "smooth operator" in me and give you what you want because you are not worth the good side of me. Sure, you would get the fun, excitement, craze... When i am done, I move on. Girls like you don't have anything to offer other than sex, which makes you even more boring and useless to a guy. |

topsquino: Hi, I need everybody's input in this case:
I outsourced a rewriting project to a freelancer . The price was $30/2200 words and the deadline was 24 hours. After the freelancer submitted the write-up, i noticed that not only was the freelancer's write-up inconsistent; there were so many grammatical errors in the write-up. I pointed out all those mistakes to him, one hour before the deadline but he refused to do so. His complains: that his job was not to make the ideas coherent because i asked him to rewrite an article ( which has some incoherent ideas). I pleaded with him, yet he remained intractable.. Actually, in my project description, i asked him to rewrite the article and to add some little details in order to add more flair to the write-up. This freelancer was giving me so many unprofessional excuses of no power and all that. PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE. I WANT YOU TO ADVISE ME WHETHER I STAND A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING THIS CASE IF I WANT TO DISPUTE IT. The freelancer is just too arrogant. I don't want him to get away with this. Meanwhile, if i am at fault, please do not hesitate inform me. You may have to report to the support team and show them what transpired. Article re-writing shouldn't come with such errors considering the fact that the re-writer would make corrections where necessary. If you still want the job done for you, shoot me a mail and let me have a review so as to embellish your work. collegiatepro at gmail dot com Do let me know when you send the email. |

stagger: Someone challenged me here to show proof if earnings. I posted one. Another one said na lie, nobody can pay a Nigerian that much. I now show a pic of dollars withdrawn from GTB on my way to Sheraton Abuja to change them, they say I am proud.
You do one, dem go talk. You no do, dem go talk. Success attracts jealousy.
You need to take a chill pill bro. Success is a journey, not a one day thing and if you see success, don't be jealous. Simply ask humbly how you can replicate it and it will be shown you. stagger, you are not willing to help with laid down guide. It's very obvious. You have avoided answering questions from what I noticed. You were asked what service do you offer but you avoided that. What skills can one acquire, list them. You also avoided that one as well. Then what are you willing to help here? You are more than this stagger. You have been on Nairaland since I knew you over 3 years ago. Help make this thread valuable... Help lifes bro and show people how you did it! If you avoid this as well then I can only assume you want people to send you PMs so you can charge them high. If that's the case, state it clearly here and I am sure people will take you up for it! |

The truth is it's not quite easy making money via freelancing especially when you identify as a Nigerian. It's hard work like any other job you get IRL. Ben1975: i am feeling the logic you are using. There is a small problem though, many people seem to still automatically assume all domains are .com. If you put .com.ng you may hemorrhage your users to another site just because some are not observant enough to note the .ng at the end.
I was one of the first promoter of the .ng extension until i quickly noticed this sad problem it's about building a brand. Brand is KING! Don't people still visit LindaIkeji..com? Which longer compared to just .com.ng? And now, google has even made it longer by redirecting it to ..com.ng :/ |
Webmasters › Re: 6 Proven Local SEO Steps To Rank #1 In Google Search by ipain: 1:26pm On Sep 14, 2015 |
WebclickNG: Thanks for replying. Actually, I am writing soon on lessons learned from my latest research on top 50 Nigeria Newspapers online - http://kampe.com.ng/blog/top-50-user-engaging-nigerian-newspapers-online/ As you will notice Linda Ikeji rank #9 while it rank #1 in Alexa. You may take a look. So, what matter is not the domain but other vital SEO metrics. Linda has not been covering those ground and others are closing in on her. Just watch lol.. What does Linda Ikeji know? She should enjoy her luck why it last because history will repeat itself and what happened yahoo may befall her. When Google decide to stop the blogger platform she go know how far. Myself will be launching a celebrity blog soon. Yes I am aware that the domain isn't the major thing but seo since Google rewrote her algorithm. Assuming I want to start, how can I do proper SEO based on Nigerian setting? |

WebclickNG: The Nigeria web space is getting competitive by the day especially in cities like Lagos and Abuja. But generally majority are yet to give much attention to local search. Interestingly, Google is refocusing most of their search algorithm on local search. So this is a great opportunity now to rank high when the competition is less.
The full article is here: http://kampe.com.ng/blog/6-proven-local-seo-steps-to-rank-1-in-google-search/ yes, I have noticed that too. Remember that Google recently started redirecting .com to .com.ng? When you check alexa ranking for top 25 most visited sites in Nigeria, linda ikeji was no 9 at lindaikeji.com but right now, she has been removed and that spot is just having .com without lindaikeji. Here is what I want to do. I want to pick up product related keywords on .com.ng. If I put my website on Google places, will I be ranked higher when the keyword is searched? I will optimize my site for the searcj keywords though. |
