Guy... U be learner? Most girls do this sturf u just mentioned above every time not that they dont like you but because you probably came out too strong with your emotuon and she got confused, trying see how much of her bullcrap u can take, how much u care abt her(obviously u av proved her ryt dat u dnt by not callin cus she didnt call u)Sorry, to disappoint you, we are dating already. What I mean is that now that we are dating, she changed. I could agree with the part where you said she want test me. Again, I have NEVER failed such test! Not boasting. And I am the frequent caller or even trying to play hard to get so she dont look easy... U re on a chase, u should be proud to be d Hunter, so quit waiting for her to chase you cos she wont, just go for wat u want...sorry we are dating already |
mencade5: tradelynpadi mi! |
MrCork: ....ok..so babe didn't call u for a month and u r 50 yers 0ld? ...and what do u want from us?!nope! It's something I have noticed recently. |
sexyseun: Keep the spark if you really love her, Women are like babies, they need to be pampered, No matter how many times your baby poos or wee-wee on his/her body, u wont beat him/her up but you just still clean the mess. I understand and that is why I am doing it. But I really don't like a situation where she feels I should be the one doing most of the work, like I need her and she doesn't need me. I haven't told her yet about what I see and my displeasure, just don't want to act like I complain too much or being too demanding or pushy. It's called a relationship for a reason . I am pretty sure that if I don't call her in a day, she wont bother either to check on me. What if I start treating the whole affair like she is currently doing and what do you think would be the outcome of her dispositions and my resultant action? I am human too and desire certain things. I could only adhere to your advice if she at least at least spend some time with me, even as little as 30 minutes, daily. But all the same, I will consider what you have said and will implement it temporarily. Trust me, I have been in this before and when I noticed that the ex wasn't responsive, it will shock you to know that I who used to call often started rescinding, stayed as much as 1 month,2 months, 3 months... and no calls from me, until we eventually broke up due to her misdemeanor. I am very much in control of my emotions and senses when it comes to things like this; I know how to turn on and off the emotions. When it's on, you can get a lot of attention, calls, sms etc from me and when it's off you would begin to wonder what happened. This is why relationship don't last, people don't take it serious or they feel they shouldn't and that things will take shape. Manner don't fall from sky. You plough the soil, you plant, you add fertalizer and you practically norture it till harvest time... and then you proudly say this is the work of my hand. I also notice less communication, as in she does not tell me certain things, carelessly. But I get what you say now: You mean I should mould her right as there are not perfect person, right? I will but under certain conditions. We just started but I seeing same patterns as previously experienced in the past and that's why I created this thread, maybe I am a bit paranoid, I can't tell. |
temigracie: ...When you meet the right person, she ll give you the 50-50 approach...really? |
At The Beginning of the relationship, they express their love and would want to chat you up often... but when dude start showing how much he is crazy about her, she stops all the acts. She does not respond on time to his chat, even when he send romantic text, she just act like she never received any or show that she loved the sms, feeling indifferent. I just feel sorry for this babe because she would not believe I won't bother to call her for a month! I love her so much, but I am very much in control of my emotions and senses. I personally like the 50-50 approach but when it seem like it's a one sided thingy, it turn the hell off out of me. ![]() |
mikeywise: This was what i told u the last time ;well, have moved on but she came back. She isn't getting a dime. |
chidyhels: As for the option. If you are a good guy choose option 1, i use to choose that when i was good. Pls dont join the bad us.babe, forget o. If there are were two persons whom you feel you should offend. Person A is Gentle and rarely talk much. He is as harmless as a fly...cos so it seems to the outside world. Person B is a noise maker. He seem to get angry easily. I will tell you to offend person B. Why? Go find out! |
Teespice: Do what you want to do. As it is your mind is all made up.Lol. Well, if anyone bears the fang or Venom, I don't think it will be a bad idea, especially if its a case of the culprit being paid back in his own coin and not an innocent being. And eye for an eye, tit for tat they call it. |
Justosaus: Just tell her u don't have, even before she says how much or wat she needs it for.I think I will prefer to tell her I have but I wont give her. So that she should also know some people got a heart of stone just like her. |
chidyhels: I hope after this your epistle you will send me the money cos me need the money pass themlmao... How you dey better person? |
braine: I think 1 is good for her. But I'm sure you won't wantu do that.I am sure the ex before her never thought I could refuse to help even though I knew she cried of being hungry. But I still refused... I can be an extreme direct of OPPOSITE of the nice person they see when the need arises. If you have watched Prison Break, you should know how Scofield operates. Handsome innocent looking face but very manipulative when the need arises. I don't throw punch first. Whoever does she should expect double or thripple |
Money is what they want, money Iand status I shall digg the ends of the earth for. An ex corp member whom I asked out while serving is also on my neck fro help. Why? She has seen a lot of changes in me compared to last time when we were serving. She has also tried to get close to me. So unfortunate that I lived a life that her so no good in me when we served. But I was more worried at that time thinking of my life after NYSC. So, most times I was like mad man lol. Just yesterday, that one was preaching after I sent her a new picture of my face. She exclaimed: "this one pass enjoyment o" "see your chin" "that's why its not good to look down on someone" there you have it guys... You are a nobody to these daughters of eve if you have no cash in the bank. |
I did it to the ex before her and I can do it again. I collected bank account while she desperately needed the money and for more than 3 days, I didn't send nada. She was forced to call me at point and I told her she should go an meet her parents. Most of these girls think because of one is gentle he can't harm a fly. Thye forget or quite ignorant of the fact that we are all born devils but just learn to manage the devil in us. |
I am always wanting to help people where necessary but I have been taken for granted by this daughters of ever much too often. I am perfect definition of the Nice guy. However, I have also learned to hide that part of me for obvious reasons. It has gotten so bad that I easily give up on girls these days. I could ask a girl out and lost absolute interest in a few days time. Not really/ solely because of my past but I have become too self focus and trying to make a better tomorror for myself, irrespective of the economic hardship in the country. Therefore, I can't afford to waste time on a specie who play hard togethe and still frustrate me thereafter. I am now in control and I will retaliate in order to teach her a a lesson. Sure... I have two options.. 1. take advantage of her and still not give her a dime after the deeds. 2. Tell her point blank that I wont help her. 3. Nairalanders, which of these options is the best for her. Thank you ![]() |
Just last night she re-surfaced again and here is quote : "ipain my love oooooooooo" I said huh? Your love? What happened to your love. She said don't I love her again. I just laughed and said I thought she said it was over do did she forget too soon that she blocked me on whatsapp? I told her that I can't be with someone who sees no crime in me given her demand but sees sex as crime or big deal. She said so if I give her money l, she should give me punny. I just told her that what does she expect because she was acting like she is smarter and that I am no longer her fool. I talked for long and she was jsut reading without saying a word. I reminded her of her crimes and much to my amazement, she didn't say a word. At that point, I knew there was a bone in her throat she is trying to remove. Anyway, I slept off and when I woke up this morning, I saw her reply: "I am in need of money badly and I need you to help me" Well, I am a very compassionate person. |
@Chidyhels come in. A few months ago before nairaland was attacked, I narrated a story about a girl and what she did using another handle. The thread title was : "Why I refuse to Help This Girl". I bet a lot of folks read that. In order to catch of with what she did, see it here: https://www.nairaland.com/1527306/one-those-times-it-necessary#19711979 because of what happened in that link above, my trust for her waned and the constant calls reduced. I practically stop caring about her existence but I played along just make her think I am stupid. Then one day I uploaded a picture of my new laptop with loads of 1 thousand naira notes on the keyboard (on whatsapp) for which she saw and castigated me for using such picture as my DP by saying haven't I seen money before or it seems I am now a yahoo boy Blah blah. I didn't say much. A few days later she messaged me on that errmmm... She has been broke for long. I said really? She said she didn't know how to tell me (I guess guilt from her last crime) and she can't afford her personal effect. Before then, I asked her why doesn't she come to see considering I had been calling her since I left NYSC and she keep posting me around, she said because of sex. I laughed on my end, threw emotions out of the window and gave her good words she never thought would come out of my mouth. The fooled replied and said let's just end everything and that it's over. I told her it has long been over and that the last money she fraudulently collected from me was the last she will ever get. She got angry I blocked me from sending her messages on whatsapp. We didn't talk ever since and I have even deleted her number from my phone... |
cne010: Do I here you say naija girls alone? Don't you see foreign movies? You have to be the man take her on a date and grab the bill happily. You are missing the whole point. It's about not abusing it! ![]() |
Most Naija girls take advantage of things like this and read negative meaning into kind gesture portrade by a guy. One of the rule is never start a relationship by spending on a girl. So, if you are taking naija girl on date for first time, how would you handle in order not to be tagged a maga? |
So, it happened she asked for help with money and I confidently told her I don't have! ![]() |
moststylish: they will pay after ur servicelet me also add that immediate past batch B,C, and A hasn't been paid. |
Hello, I am a Corper serving in ondo but I just returned to duty on 3rd of Jan. On the night of that same day, I had cold and body pains. And was down on bed on the 4th. I was able to eat and I still have appetite to eat and drink water. I did take paracetamol on that day. By 5th, I was okay and was able to move around. The night of same 5th, cold, a slight one came and that was how I slept till next morning. Through out today, I have been on bed because my body temperature is high and I feel cold slightly. I was able to eat but didn't take any drug. It seem the paracetamol couldn't work. I need help for a drug to take. Thanks and God bless. |
When? 2 years later? That's what I heard if it's true, it's really ridiculous. moststylish: they will pay after ur service |
Dr pip, i dont thats necessary... |
Do you know why you have a problem? You are thinking too much about dating her. Imagine if you were seeing a "guy" and you want to ask him something, would you feel scared or be such of words? I bet know! Why? Cos it's "just" a guy, nothing special. It's same way you should view that chic. Remove the thought of wanting to date her and just chat her up like a friend with nothing attached. It will make the point of entry pretty easy. |
Truly, GEJ can't do everything but telling us lies is unacceptable. We all know that most Nigerian politicians don't do anything during the 2nd term. ISpiksDaTroof: But they will still line up and vote GEJ abi? |
I need an original battery for Hp Compaq mini laptop cq10-500 model. I want something that is as good as what came with it from as at when bought new because this is the first time I would be changing the battery since 2011. Initially, I thought ordering from ebay but just decided to buy it here in Nigeria. How much does it cost and where can I find it? I am based in Benin City. How do I know that it is original? Thanks. |
You don't need a prophet to tell you that he is being paid. ISpiksDaTroof: Dude, how the hell do you always come up with all these nonsensical defenses? |
Jigga_man101: Nigeria is bigger than Ghana in only pop and land mass apart from that there is no competition. Ghana has lower crime, lower maternal mortality rate, better education system, better electrification, better access to water, better road network, safer, easy to be business, better organized, less corruption, higher life expectancy, and above all higher HDI. These are the things we judge a country on. While Nigeria GDP is bigger than Ghana's, we have higher per capital and our gini is very low. Ghana's economy is diverse while yours is oil base.I want my fellow Nigerians to dispute this. But as usual, we know the truth but would hardly accept it, which one of our greatest undoings. |

If you only focus on the multi-billion dollar valuations of young companies like Pinterest, Uber and Snapchat, you might assume 2013 has been a very good year for tech startups. In reality, it has been more of a bittersweet year. Many early-stage companies struggled to raise a Series A rounds of funding, a phenomenon commonly referred to as the "Series A Crunch," which for some meant to fight for their survival. Meanwhile, several later-stage companies like Fab and Rdio laid off large portions of their staff to rein in costs. Even so, plenty of promising startups raised funds and launched (or teased) exciting features this year in markets ranging from mobile payments to media. What's more, the success of Twitter's IPO has boosted investor interest in other social startups and may help revive the market for tech IPOs, which suffered after Facebook's troubled public offering in 2012. We've rounded up a few notable startups that have the capital, talent or ideas — often all three — to succeed. Some may thrive for years, some may get acquired and some may go nowhere, but all will be worth watching. 1. Circa Circa launched its iPhone app in late 2012 with the goal of rethinking the breaking news experience for the mobile era. This year, the startup proved that wasn't just an ambitious pitch. Circa poached Reuters' social media editor Anthony De Rosa to serve as editor in chief of a team that now includes 10 reporters. It also launched a new Android app and updates to its iPhone app which make it easier to find and track breaking news stories as they develop. 2. Level Money It's not every day that a personal finance startup attracts a lot of buzz, but Level Money may be the exception. The San Francisco company was cofounded by Visa's former manager of global emerging products and aims to make it easier for users to budget on the go from their phones. Think Mint, but with a simpler design, boiled down to the essentials and targeted more toward younger users. The startup raised a $5 million round Series A round this year led by Kleiner Perkins, with investments from some big names in the finance industry including former Citigroup CEO Sandy Weill. 3. Routehappy If the mark of a good Internet startup is addressing a basic pain point among consumers, then Routehappy is certainly a startup worth watching. Routehappy, which launched its website out of beta in May, relies on a team of data experts to help travelers compare flights not just by price and times, but by seat types, amenities and perks. The startup has since raised $1.5 million in funding and launched a mobile app. 4. Flipboard Flipboard has been around for a few years, but in 2013, the startup took three big steps towards achieving its full potential as a curation platform. The company gave users the option to create their own magazines, embraced ecommerce with the introduction of shoppable magazines and added support for Windows 8.1, meaning it is now available on all major mobile operating platforms. These efforts, combined with the additional $50 million it is reportedly close to raising, should help Flipboard continue to grow its user base and ramp up monetization. 5. Oyster A year ago, the concept of e-book subscriptions was just that: a concept. But this year saw the launch of several notable e-book subscription ventures, including an offering from Scribd, the popular document scanning service, and Oyster, a younger startup that raised $3 million in 2012 from Founders Fund. The two services offer a comparable number of books, but Oyster and its team that includes former Google employees has tried to differentiate itself with a gorgeous user interface like a modified version of Netflix. Both Scribd and Oyster believe that the e-book subscription market could be a multi-billion dollar opportunity just like movie or music subscriptions. If that proves to be even slightly true, expect to see more money and possibly some acquisitions in this space. 6. Uber Uber has survived regulatory battles and the occasional bad headline to become a fixture in some of the biggest cities in the U.S. and abroad. In August, the ride sharing service announced raising a $258 million funding round led by Google Ventures to help expand into new markets and fight the inevitable legal battles. What makes Uber really worth watching though isn't just its success with the ride sharing model, but the hints from its CEO Travis Kalanick in recent months that the company may expand into other areas like same-day delivery, a hot space right now. In other words, Uber isn't just coming after taxi companies; it's coming after business like Amazon. 7. DataSift It may not be the sexiest startup on this list, but Datasift finds itself in a space that is becoming increasingly high-profile thanks to Twitter's IPO: social data. Apple recently acquired Topsy, a social media analytics company, for more than $200 million. One day later, Datasift announced that it had raised another $42 million in a Series C round, bringing its total funding up to more than $70 million. 8. Clinkle Clinkle will either go down as the next big thing in mobile payments or the next big bust, but either way, it will be big. The startup and its 22-year-old founder have raised more than $25 million in June and more big name investors continue to flock to the company. In late September, the company revealed that more than 100,000 people were on the wait list to use the app, even though no one really knows what it does. The app, which is rumored to use a high-frequency sound to process payments, is expected to roll out to more colleges in the coming months. Yet, the company also recently laid off a quarter of its staff, suggesting that there are some problems behind the scenes. 9. Circle Before Bitcoin started to gain tons of press coverage and approach the $1,000 mark, some of the startups in the space were essentially homegrown operations. But now, some well-known VCs and tech founders are entering the space. Perhaps the most notable is Circle, a company founded by the man behind the Brightcove video platform. Circle raised a $9 million Series A round at the end of October and plans to develop services that make it easier for consumers and merchants to purchase and use digital currencies like Bitcoin. Expect to hear more about Circle in the coming year, assuming Bitcoin sticks around that long. 10. SmartThings SmartThings is one of the leading startups in the Internet of Things space. The company provides tools to help users connect their homes to their smartphones, which would potentially shut the garage door remotely and send updates when the heat is on too high or when too much water is under the sink. SmartThings recently raised $12.5 million in Series A funding. http://mashable.com/2013/12/16/startups-to-watch-in-2014/?utm_cid=mash-com-fb-main-link |
