Students in public schools in Lagos have been wearing hijab for years. The court ruling is useless. Meanwhile it should also be restricted to public schools because private schools will move against any plan to enforce it.

Such schools should be closed down. As long as the law allows them to wear the hijab, anyone who wants to run any school will have to abide by the law.
