Where will I even begin with? I think I am a victim of this virus
called “worry”. What is worry? According to
Merriam-Webster Dictionary,
Worry is the “thinking about
problems or fear: to feel or
show fear and concern
because you think that something bad has happened
or could happen” Worry has made many people lose
focus on the way they should live. It
has made many to derail from their
original plan for their lives as a
result of some ugly circumstances.
In this post, we are going to read some of the factors that may cause
worry and anxiety in your life. Lack of faith in God: The beginning of fear is when there
is no faith in God who is the creator
of that fear that besieges you. The
opposite of FAITH is FEAR, therefore,
when there is no faith fear takes
over. Lack of food: You may wonder why I said this, but
it’s true. Lack of food in the family
causes worry for the “head” of
the family.
The encouragement for this is
recorded in Matthew 6:31 where the scripture enjoins us and said: “Therefore take no thought (do not
worry), saying, what shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? ” This passage is full of inspiration to
me and I believe that the same is
with you?
Many of us worry a lot over little
thing that comes our way, but Christ
is teaching us to be full of confidence in everything that we face in life. Lack of clothing: This is where I have seen many
people get worried so much. This is
common to ladies (this is for real no
joke).
I have seen many people said they
will not attend church service or parties as a lack of new clothing in
the wardrobe. This is laughable,
doesn’t it? “Therefore take no thought (do not
worry), saying, what shall we eat?
Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be
clothed? ” Friend, there are many things that
brings worry in peoples life but the
above three highlights are the most
common among many people today.
God always want you to be full of life
irrespective what you are going through in life.
