Corps Marshal Oyeyemi should first address the recklessness of FRSC drivers who thinks they are above the law. Thereafter, he should address the issue of delayed driver's license that his organization in unable to fulfill their commitment to people in record time before listing the faults of other people/organizations. Why are some people so good at identifying the faults of others and looking away from theirs?

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a LIAR as confirmed by Prof Soludo. Therefore, whatever this thiefing thiefing woman says in throwing dirt at others to cover up her effort in hiding the money she help her friends including GEJ steal should not be taken seriously. This woman is a shameless liar and a thief.

It is only in Nigeria that this Mohammed Adoke can be an ordinary lawyer, let alone a senior lawyer. Adoke is as corrupt as they come with all the mis-interpretations he has given to Nigeria's constitution. There was the perception that Aondoakaa was bad and corrupt during late President Yar' Adua's time, but he is no match for this Adoke.
How come the so-called "noble profession" have so many dishonourable men in their senior rank ?

With a good primary school education and zero knowledge of law, one will know that Adoke's directive to CJ of Bayelsa state is null and void in a federal system of government. The NBA should try rederming it's image by leting the likes of Adoke, Aondoakas, etc form their own rogue legal assiciation.

Global diplomacy work either for peace or whatever and writing is a job for people with appropriate level of IQ and this man doesn't fit in that class. In it, you have serious work to do and not the type where you and a few praise singers tells you what you want to hear.
GEJ spent 6years trying to understand Nigeria problem with all the instrument of state at his disposal, how will understand the intricasies of the Isreali/Palestinian isdue or the FARC issue in Colombia or the Falkland Island issue, etc. You can not propose a solution to the problem you don't understand. I dont know you or the details of what may be happening in your marriage and please don't think I'm judging you. But from some aspects of your writing here, I hope you are not one of those ladies who have issues with real submisdion to their husband. Now that Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has been chosen by the Nigerian people, it is my duty as a patriotic Nigerian to help him succeed even though my candidate was President Goodluck Jonathan, a man to whom I will always be loyal and appreciative.


General Buhari is about to mount the saddle and I for one am in a very good position to tell him some home truths because as a senator-elect, I have a very fulfilling job awaiting me and I do not need a job or favours from Buhari so I do not have to play nice.


Looking at the personalities he has appointed to his transition council, I am wont to believe that General Buhari needs to expand his circle of friends and advisers.


As a military strategist, the president-elect must be familiar with the principle that the people you use in subduing an opponent are not necessarily the same persons you will need in rebuilding the territories you took. I may be using military terms, but I am sure General Buhari is aware that politics is war by other means and therefore many of the rules of war and peace apply to politics.


The General will be best served if he thinks of what is best for Nigeria rather than what is best for his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), and its chieftains.


He must remember that in Nigeria’s subjective politics, it was his person that the people voted for not his party and he should therefore serve the people the dish they are angling for.


And what are the expectations of Nigerians from General Buhari? Definitely not business as usual.
The president-elect ran on a promise of change and while that change was not really defined by its chanters, Nigerians defined it as a change in their situation.


To borrow from the famously potent prayers of Mountain of Fire and Miracle members, the Nigerian masses defined change as a situation where wealth and power must change hands from the elite to the masses by fire by force and they see General Buhari as the enforcer angel that will bring about this change.


With this type of expectation, Buhari’s honeymoon period with Nigerians will not last very long if he does not take drastic steps to adjust Nigeria’s economy to the realities of falling oil prices and a dearth of buyers for the Bonny Light Sweet Crude.


To put things into perspective, when the United States started buying less and less of Nigeria’s oil, we looked to China as an alternative buyer of oil but it has since come to light that whereas America spent $101 billion on clean energy between 2012-13, China spent $125 billion within the same time frame.


The above data should alert Nigeria and other nations that look to China for oil markets to the fact that China is even ahead of the West in the search for alternative to fossil fuels as a source of energy.


Buhari may wish he did not win the 2015 elections when the reality of our economic situation sets in.
In his December 2014 Channels Television interview, Buhari said he was going to “stabilise the oil market”. The General will learn soon enough that today’s oil market is a buyers’ market.


And the General’s choices are limited because he cannot (unless he is extraordinarily brave and politically callous) do the obvious and sack civil servants. Yes, he will eventually have to reduce the over bloated federal civil service, but before he can do that, he has to build up political capital by reducing the overhead of the Executive and persuade the Legislature to follow suit.


Austerity measures must start from Aso Rock. This means that luxurious multi car convoys must be reduced. The presidential air fleet has to go, by way of being auctioned off or sold to local airlines. Estacode allowances must be slashed and the president’s entourages should be lean while non-essential foreign travels should be banned.


The president-elect should not underestimate the big difference these small changes can make and their capacity to buy him enough credibility with the labour unions, the kind of credibility that will see them accepting cuts in the federal workforce and reduction in pay and entitlements.


A small change like flying commercial instead of by private jet saved Britain a whopping £200,000 when the thrifty British Prime Minister, David Cameron, flew to America to meet President Barack Obama on a regular BA flight.


Nigeria is in for very desperate times if we do not tighten our belts while our major foreign exchange earner is facing global challenges.
Russia, a nation that many will say is more prepared than Nigeria for the shocks occasioned by the drop in the price of oil devalued its currency by 11 per cent in just one day.


While Russia is taking these steps, the world is watching to see if Nigeria will continue to spend hundreds of billions annually sponsoring its elite on pilgrimages to Mecca and Jerusalem.


I mean, no economist will get why a nation with over 60 per cent of its people living in poverty at the best of times, will spend almost 1 per cent of its annual budget sponsoring pilgrimages for its elite who can afford to go to the Holy Land on their own dime.


I for one do not get it. A pilgrimage is meant to be a sacrifice of a believer. How is a pilgrimage still a sacrifice when someone pays for you to go? The Nigerian government is sending people on holidays not pilgrimages!


I daresay that the money being spent by the Nigerian government to airlift pilgrims to both Holy Lands is enough to educate all the almajiri in Northern Nigeria. Wouldn’t God and humanity be better served if we looked after the less privileged in our midst?
General Buhari has his work cut out for him and he does not have time to be bitter about who said what, when and where. He must let go of any desire to pay any of his traducers back whether they be from the last 16 years or as far back as 1985.


Four years is only enough time to fix Nigeria. Any time spent on other ventures is time taken from this most important of assignments.
And let me say that General Buhari should not allow himself to be pigeon holed by people who dangle ideologies instead of realities. Yes, the APC may have styled itself as a progressive party, which in itself is a contradiction because Buhari is a conservative, but Buhari should not bother about that.


Whether the philosophy is progressive or conservative or liberal or free market, he should go with what works because as Deng Xiaoping once noted: “It doesn’t matter whether a cat is black or white, if it catches mice it is a good cat.”
And it is fitting for me to end with a mention of Xiaoping. No other contemporary world leader, in my opinion, closely mirrors Buhari as does Xiaoping.


In 1966, Xiaoping was dethroned from his powerful party positions by loyalists of Chairman Mao as was Buhari in 1985 by loyalists of his Chief of Army staff.
Xiaoping suffered house arrest, loss of earned privileges and was consigned to political limbo for almost a decade as was Buhari.


But then Xiaoping bounced back into favour and became China’s leader in 1976 and thereafter jettisoned his life long belief in Mao’s Cultural Revolution and introduced the “one country, two systems” policy that allowed communism and capitalism to coexist in China. This is similar to Buhari’s conversion from an anti-democrat who believed power flowed from the barrel of a gun to a democrat who accepted democracy as the best form of governance and capitalism as the natural economic policy of a democracy.


But this is where Buhari has to learn from Xiaoping. Xiaoping refused to demonise Chairman Mao, his predecessor who had purged him from power and placed him under house arrest after stripping him off his privileges. Instead of bitterness, Xiaoping believed that Mao’s “accomplishments must be considered before his mistakes”.


This is how Buhari must treat his predecessors. He must not demonise everything that was done by previous administrations and mark those who served in those government as persona non grata. He must take the bitter with the sweet and make use of the best brains Nigeria has to offer, for as he said on December 31st, 1983, “This generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country than Nigeria”.

Buhari, promised to #BringBackOurGirls during his campaigns, and he also made some other promises which are the reasons people voted for him. For some, it was just the Promise to rescue the girls that they voted him for. But if after giving him that vote, and he has successful won, then he decided to change his promise, by saying he can not assure anyone that he can #BringBackOurGirls but went ahead to hire the #BringBackOurGirls founder into his TC, it means Buhari is wicked. It is either that #BringBackOurGirls organization was a political tool or that he is trying to shut her up and destroy the group. Both ways, he is NOT the Change Agent we wanted. He lied. I want you all to see this Buhari as President-elect of Nigeria and NOT President-elect of APC, and again, stop insulting people who have contrary opinions.

Were you on this planet when GEJ as Nigerian President after getting 22M votes against GMB in 2011 then hired Doyin Okupe and co to insult us all for attempting to voice different opinion? If the tribunal is made up of men and women of integrity, then I have no doubt that they will see through his "agbero-oshodi oke" method of winning election and throw him out for a proper election to determine a sane gov'nor for Rivers people. In the history of AG in Nigeria, GEJ's Adoke will go down as the most corrupt AG Nigeria has ever known. He functioned as the criminally corrupt AG of PDP while holding office for Nigerians thereby advising the brainless senate on how to loot our treasury through illegal deductions from the federation account. He also player a major role in Jonathan writing-off Abacha's N400B loot. Adoke is a major dent to the glory of the Nigeria bar organization. Olly God knows how people like him pass the bar exam.

This should finally confirm to Jonathan's diehards that the man does not understand decency let alone heroism. When he finally move out of our lives, we shall use all available legal and civilized means to clean up the mess he created and clear out the thugs he used force to employ to oppress the people instead of serving them.

GEJ has so much corrupted the Nigerian spirit that many people can't distinguish between good and bad. But the presence of the likes Oby Ezekwesili with her ability to differentiate between right and wrong means that Nigeria still has a hope for the future. It is only in Nigeria that millions will be praising the likes of GEJ who within a few years in power destroyed most credible institutions of state just for his own benefit. Posterity will judge him and the souls that his agents sent to early graves will stands against him at any finest moment has hopes to have at any future days.
Under GEJ, Nigeria needed to rely on Chad and Niger to reclaim a number of her towns from BH, all these while the erst-while meritorious Nigeria military denied ever loosing any territory. The C-in-C lost all control over the military and turn them to objects of scorn with useless and pot-bellied generals only good at stealing money and denying several of their own who were fine officers in the past. In other climes, GEJ will quietly enter a whole and shut himself indoors for ever.

They should please not go down that route. This time is different from the past, as God has by this election decided to make Nigeria his own project and it will work out just fine. They can not fight God and prevail and because He is on our side, they also can not prevail against Nigeria because the word of God says, "If God be for us, who can be against us". I urge them to join hands with us all to build a nation of our dream where every Nigerian feels they belong.

Emefiele was a hatchet man brought not to genuinely run our economy but to cover the tracts of PDP and their collaborators in their looting of our treasury. We will send him back to them when the change process has fully started and then get a real and honest economist to work for the Nigerian people.
During the days of Sanusi at the CBN and Emefiele as CEO of Zenith Bank, most of the mess created by dubious people in collution with bankers in our economy that Sanusi was trying to clean up in the banking sector, Emefiele and his Zenith bank were the worst culprit. His anti-people CBN policy is obvious from the speed at which he restored the ATM charges that Sanusi worked hard to scrap for the common man. Emefiele is their CBN gov and not our own. We need our own president to nominate our candidate for our senate to approve as our CBN gov - a gov who will work for the interest of Nigerians and not his own pocket or the pocket of his bosses.

Any true leader of vision will not keep this woman in a focus and goal oriented cabinet. Credit to OBJ for realizing that she can't successfully manage a piggy bank let alone the economy of a serious minded nation.

It shouldn't be any surprise that many players in entertainment are backing GEJ for another 4 years. The man, by his style of governance, is one of them -toying on the world stage with the life, hopes and aspirations of millions of Nigerians. Very very sad. His theatrics of today has an unquantifiable potential to affects even a number of the future generations who are yet unborn. His government lacks any initiative with negative direction much like the movies of these actors lacks any originality, but are confirmed copied works of some foreign film makers.
Life is not entertainment but serious business and Nigerians need more than a comedian to steer the ship of state. Hopefully the brain of these actors will be big enough to understand this major point.

GEJ, David Mark, Abaribe and their likes are as bad as they come with regards to corruption. They and their class members will retain the record of the worst and most immoral individuals to have walk the corridors of power in Nigeria and posterity will judge them harshly and their off springs will walk in shame in the land in years to come.
When the Nigerian state has been rescue from these greedy chalattans, we will have law makers who can look back and make laws that forever labels these people as enemies of the state who worked to destroy it for the benefit of their own pockets. Femi Fani-Kayode is a true son of his Father -Remi Fani-Kayode, who was a traitor. So FFK's life is that of "like father like son". But we need to know more about the parents of Olu Falae and Ayo Adebanjo -two old people who even at the twilight of their years, are still unable to stand up for the truth. And they have a new son in Odumakin, who will continue their game of speaking from both sides of the month. These are collectively the "senior Jegudu jera's" of Yoruba land. Their present work is heavily facilitated by Okupe -a man without any element of shame.

Femi Fani-Kayode, like his traitor father does not understand the idea of personal integrity. To him, every one can be made to dance to any music after some Naira settlement.
If any one can join the ranks of Okupe, Fayose, and other low lives to defend Jonathan's 6 years criminality on the Nigeria political space and comical act on world stage at the expense of Nigeria, then such people's brain needs medical attention.
