She's a wife and mother; she holds no elective office.  Until she becomes a politician in her own right, or if there's allegations of law-breaking on her part, deal with her husband.  I don't think too many guys will allow anyone to mock their wives.  Even Jonathan might work up the nerve to stand up and beat you down if you talk badly about his wife to his face.

There are so many threads about the woman.  Is she that hateful?  I think a thread about whether or not she used her husband's position to steal money is more appropriate, IMHO.

P.S.: That wasn't a response to Sauer's post above. Just a general contribution to the thread.

I've lost my mind.  You know what I've been doing all morning?  Trying to save a ladybug!  Yes!  Those beetle-like things but PRETTY with dots.  I woke up and saw something on my headboard.  Thought I didn't remember putting an earring there.  Picked it up; put it back down cos it was so tiny.  It just laid there dead still.  A few minutes later it starts trying to crawl and kept rolling over on its round back. lol.  So I keep turning it upright so it can keep crawling; thought about just putting it out but it's too cold.  Then I picked it up again and inspected it with a magnifying glass, and found that not all its legs are moving right and its side is slightly crushed in.  Long story short I've found they eat Aphids which are found around roses (there's a dozen roses in the room which is prob what attracted it), they're harmless and are just looking for warmth to hibernate, and they do drink water, which I tried to feed it.  hahahaha.  Almost drowned it.  Then I put all the roses on the floor cos I don't know how to pick out the Aphids which are probably microscopic anyway, and put the ladybug in the middle so it can smell the Aphids and eat them and get better so I wouldn't be a ladybug killer.
cry

So, yeah, even the ladybug is looking at me like, "lady, you've lost your damn mind, just put me out in the cold, please."

Poor Jonathan.  Seriously, the man is not equipped. He didn't set out to be president of the largest African country.  He spent his life being groomed to be vice this assistant that.  He was perfectly happy being Vice President without Portfolio, if not for the sickler Commander in Chief (RIP).

Now, the man is simply being a welcoming host.  You can't meet your guests with a frown. To a gracious African host, a smile is no different from a handshake - it's how you greet company.  Nothing to it.  He is not a heartless man nau.  The smile is only out of place when sharply contrasted by the Sultan's more sedate demeanor.  Now, there's a man in tune with his surrounding.  Poor Goodluck. Bless his simple heart.

Shake my head ,  in total disgust,  Na wa o.

I want to be sure, all this insult are they like for real. Is there so much hatred in the heart of the average Nigerian. Tribalism, is as deadly as terrorism or even racism. It is a time bomb waiting to explode. How much longer before a group of people become "cockroaches" fit for matcheting. Let us thread jejely young peeps.
Read between the lines: it was just a paid job to her - generate traffic by keeping hate flowing.  That's why she kept telling her confused and offended "friend" not to worry, that it was just for this thread and they were still cool.  That's why, after 44 pages of ugly mean-spiritedness - after all that invective, she can simply blink and tell all her nemesis, "hey it's all settled, we're all cool now, peace."  Tribalist for hire. Very noble.  Nice work if you can get it, huh?  The reputation of Nigeria be damned, huh?  People reading the thread constantly asking, is this how racist you people are?  Turning more and more ignorant folk into tribalists.

Just goes to show you, Nairaland is not Nigeria.  Say it loud and clear

That video is mind-blowing.  It's about "The Politics of Genocide," and includes simple re-telling of the Rwanda war and what led to it and all the misinformation and propaganda after it, also Idi Amin/Uganda, Congo, Ivory Coast, etc.  Everyone (All Africans) should watch it.  And it's not even anything conspiratorial; just as straightforward and mainstream as the truth gets. Pure investigative journalism.  Nothing left-wing or right-wing about it.

BTW, if you want to publicly criticise and reveal USA foreign policy duplicity, you better be a US citizen.  Cap, I'm sure you know why.  lol.

So you are both Yoruba, are you?  Can you give an age range (not a specific age) only if you care to.  Like. . . under or over 25, college age, 30-40, middle-aged, etc.

In the middle of reading Vedaxcool's replies.

P.S. There's no weird reason for asking about age. I was just curious about the maturity level of the people with whom I'm discussing. No offense, okay. smiley
