IN 1776 THE JEWS MADE THIS WORD A REALITY WHEN MAYER ROTHSCHILD CREATED THE ILLUMINATI. You might have heard about it or maybe not, it is the Illuminati, the anti Christ group , the one you guys call devil church, anyway they are spreading evil very fast through the media and so many people are so attached to it, they control the media' the economy, and they are all elits. I just want to tell you guys so that you will be aware of what you are involving yourselves with undecided  you should decease from them cos really they won't help you. Some of their members are

and so much more jay z, lil wayne, and kanye west and a host of others have alLredy confirmed their membership you can check it out on you tube, most of the songs they sing is actually for the devil and there is more to their lyrics than it meets the eye. You also see them making signs with their hand which represents the Illuminati signs. Do you know that IN FALLING ANGEL BY CHRIS BROWN HE WAS ACTUALLY REFERRING TO THE DEVIL AS THE FALLING ANGEL, and gosh i love that song. He explains that she ''DEVIL'' was not giving a fair trail and he will help her mend her wings to fly to heaven. REALLY MOST OF THESE SONGS THIS ARTIST SING ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK. THERE IS SO MUCH ON THESE THAT I HAVEN'T MENTION SO IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME KINDLY GOOGLE SEARCH THE WORD ''ILLUMINATI'' and see for your self you can also check it out on you tube, THESE PEOPLE HAVE SOLD THEIR SOUL TO THE DEVIL IN EXCHANGE FOR FAME. THEY CONTROL EVERYTHING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, I KNOW SOME OF YOU WILL SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH IT BUT IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE STRIVING FOR ETERNAL LIFE THEN PLEASE STOP LISTENING OR WATCHING THESE GUYS AS YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BECOME A PARTAKER OF THE DEVIL. AND PLEASE IF YOU HAVE READ THIS POST KINDLY DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON IT ON GOOGLE AND YOU TUBE .YOU WONT REGRET IT. GOD IS YOUR ONLY HOPE
Poster, Is this linked from somewhere? Do you actually believe this? That Obama is anti-christ? I doubt Miley Cyrus even knows what it means.

What Kind of Soul are You?

Isale-Gangan; naijababe
You Are a Visionary Soul
You are a curious person, always in a state of awareness.
Connected to all things spiritual, you are very in touch with your soul.
You are wise and bright: able to reason and be reasonable.
Occasionally, you get quite depressed and have dark feelings.
You have great vision and can be very insightful.
In fact, you are often profound in a way that surprises yourself.
Visionary souls like you can be the best type of friend.
You are intuitive, understanding, sympathetic, and a good healer.

Souls you are most compatible with: Old Soul and Peacemaker Soul.

Dayokanu, Katsumoto
You Are an Old Soul
You are an experienced soul who appreciates tradition.
Mellow and wise, you like to be with others but also to be alone.
Down to earth, you are sensible and impatient.
A creature of habit, it takes you a while to warm up to new people.
You hate injustice, and you're very protective of family and friends
A bit demanding, you expect proper behavior from others.
Extremely independent you don't mind living or being alone.
But when you find love, you tend to want marriage right away.

Souls you are most compatible with: Warrior Soul and Visionary Soul

Fstranger:
You Are a Hunter Soul

You are driven and ambitious - totally self motivated to succeed.
Actively working to achieve what you want, you are skillful in many areas.
You are a natural predator with strong instincts ,  and more than a little demanding.
You are creative, energetic, and an extremely powerful force.
An outdoors person, you like animals and relate to them better than people.
You tend to have an explosive personality, but you also have a good sense of humor.
People sometimes see you as arrogant or a know it all.
You tend to be a bit of a loner, though you hate to be alone.

Souls you are most compatible with: Seeker Soul and Peacemaker Soul

OAM4J
You Are a Prophet Soul
You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappointment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.
You are a good interpreter, very sensitive, intuitive, caring, and gentle.
Concerned about the world, you are good at predicting people's feelings.
A seeker of wisdom, you are a life long learner looking for purpose and meaning.
You are a great thinker and communicator, but not necessarily a doer.

Souls you are most compatible with: Bright Star Soul and Dreaming Soul

Debosky
You Are a Seeker Soul
You are on a quest for knowledge and life challenges.
You love to be curious and ask a ton of questions.
Since you know so much, you make for an interesting conversationalist.
Mentally alert, you can outwit almost anyone (and have fun doing it!).
Very introspective, you can be silently critical of others.
And your quiet nature makes it difficult for people to get to know you.
You see yourself as a philosopher, and you take everything philosophically.
Your main talent is expressing and communicating ideas.

Souls you are most compatible with: Hunter Soul and Visionary Soul

PhysicsMHD
You Are a Dreaming Soul
Your vivid imagination takes you away from this world
So much so that you tend to live in your head most of the time.
You have great dreams and ambitions that could be the envy of all,
But for you, following through with your dreams is a bit difficult.
You are charming, endearing, and people tend to love you.
Forgiving and tolerant, you see the world through rose colored glasses.
Underneath it all, you are brimming with passion that you keep hidden.
Always hopeful, you tend to expect positive outcomes in your life.

Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul, Prophet Soul, and Traveler Soul

Kilode?!
Peacemaker Soul

Types of Souls: Prophet, Old, Warrior, Newborn, Dreaming, Bright Star, Peacemaker, Visionary, Seeker, Traveler, Hunter, etc.
Hahaha. I just think religion is such a terrible thing to fight over, at the end of the day, both sides aren't certain about what they are killing themselves for. Only Jesus and Mohammed(peace be upon him) Should really fight over the religion they founded. I'll love to watch that one   wink

So, I view Ifa from a non-religious point; a philosophy based on the time tested observations of our sages, with answers that are peculiar to us and our environment. Not necessarily a religion that cannot be changed or tweaked to fit present realities.

I.e, I don't expect people to Keep looking for an eye awodi for some sacrifice, if The bird becomes extinct, Should that Kill the message Behind that act? I'm sure some Ifa purists will disagree, but hey, that's their wahala.

BTW, I'm really interested in your answer to Katsumoto's questions. cool

I enjoy Cap28's posts also (when he's not too deep into that conspiracy thing) the west don't need no love from me.

What I do not like about some afrocentrists( I assume he's one) is the fixation with Egypt and Arabs. What is wrong with Ifa, voodoo, Aro chukwu long juju, or any other obviously African beliefs, religion and philosophies? Not fancy enough?
Oga Kilode doth protest too much.  cheesy  You're still a Peacemaker Soul no matter how you want to market yourself.  Sango Warrior koo, Hello Kitty ni.   tongue   I kid I jest.  I still enjoy you.  Immensely.

Another of my favourite things.

RUMI: Tending Two Shops

Don’t run around this world
looking for a hole to hide in.

There are wild beasts in every cave!
If you live with mice,
the cat claws will find you.

The only real rest comes
when you’re alone with God.

Live in the nowhere that you came from,
even though you have an address here.

That’s why you see things in two ways.
Sometimes you look at a person and see a cynical snake.

Someone else sees a joyful lover,
and you’re both right!

Everyone is half and half,
like the black and white ox.

Joseph looked ugly to his brothers,
and most handsome to his father.

You have eyes that see from that nowhere,
and eyes that judge distances,
how high and how low.

You own two shops,
and you run back and forth.

Try to close the one that’s a fearful trap,
getting always smaller. Checkmate,
this way. Checkmate that.

Keep open the shop
where you’re not selling fishhooks anymore.
You are the free-swimming fish.

This pastor is the definition of a "TV Preacher": All greased up and dolled up for the cameras.  Real scumbag.  You can almost see dollar signs in his eyes.  shocked  And yes, this style of preaching was borrowed from the US and it is seen all over the country, maybe not as prevalent as in Nigeria but the pentecostal faith-healing prosperity preaching style came of age here in the US.  Just watch PTL TBN or any of the other TV ministries you'll see it in abundance.  Fraudsters like Oyakhilome do a great disservice to the cause and genuine pastors.

I asked a pastor's wife about the bad publicity such men bring to their faith and she assured me that in the end it didn't matter because the goal is to bring more souls, more converts to the church, more born-agains, that it didn't matter if Creflo Dollar or Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyer* are flying in their private planes or are not genuine deep down or even if they are ultimately exposed and confirmed to be opportunists, the end result of the hundreds of thousands souls saved and people they brought to the church (who in turn will bring more converts) will be their real legacy. That's the way they see it.
I was going to discuss Ifa, then I saw that most people on here are Babalawos and secret aborisas anyway, so it will be a redundant groupthink thing. cheesy

I will think of something else. while I leave you with this video as instructed by the irunmoles. teach them, they will learn

http://www.youtube.com//v/hLNWvGwKlWI

it's was discussed here on NL in 2008, see this link, https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-207887.0.html#msg3227802
Nice.  Thanks.  I will watch video and provide feedback.  My knowledge is limited in that subject, but I previously reviewed the Ifa thread, and saw the yeoman's job that Pastor AIO and others are doing.

So, Oga Kilode, how about we get more diverse participation on the topic so fellow NL non-Yorubas that may have something to contribute about the subject of traditional religions can get in on it.  I bet it broadens it somewhat if not limited to Ifa.  I keep telling the visitors it is not a restricted thread but posters like PhysicsADHD simply come in to trade barbs. lol.  I'll leave it in your hands since this is your subject o.  I'm done with the invites and just wanna sit back and  cool  smiley

BTW, I look forward to the new topic.
