A message from MR. NAIJABABE to Dayokanu and his posse: [flash=480,400]http://www.youtube.com//v/MZAFfpnOn9E[/flash] |
dayokanu:Good post, DK! ![]() |
dayokanu:Stop picking the wrong women. |
Katsumoto:Welcome back! [quote author=Kilode?! link=topic=590933.msg7848499#msg7848499 date=1299293290]O ga gan ni o! Plenty mukulu mukeke dey happen for this thread this weekend o! Hey! Just for you, I'll take requests on future discourse. Name the burning issue or topic and I'll do a little opener and open the floor for discussion. You too, |
OAM4J:Sunny Ade is some kind of handsome, isn't he? Put this (igbo and yoruba duo) in a thread where the tribalists will see it. hahahaha. |
dayokanu:Calm down. Who the hell is digging your gold? pfftt! |
Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Also, there's a Nigerian Consulate within 20 miles of the hospital. A relative came from Nigeria to give birth there a few years ago. She later compared it to her childbirth experience in a NE state where she now resides, and said she was treated much better at Grady, and had received far better post natal care and her baby far better immediate follow-up care, even though she was only visiting USA at the time and it was obvious she came here to have a baby. I know she didn't have to pay, but things may have changed in 5 years. Just one to look into. |
naijababe:Believe it or not, I didnt know the meaning of SMH until a few weeks ago. I saw it everywhere on NL and was too to ask. hehehehe. Some lingo are used more often depending which forum you visit. I never saw SMH before, at least not as much as it is on NL. |
fstranger3:I think she understands some Yoruba. We were talking about Ile'kewu once before. That's what she called it when she was going for lessons in SL too. But, yeah, she probably won't get all that. |
naijababe:hahahaha. I can't believe you never heard that. Are you shocked? Where have you been? Oh, yeah, I remember, ![]() naijababe:Seriously, that's having the fox guard the chickens. DK is (can't find the words, not even one!). |
naijababe:You're just as much a fighter as he is. Don't front! See: naijababe: naijababe:Yup! One-track mind. |
OAM4J:Sorry. You saw it now, right? Thanks! E se! Na gode! Gracias! Grazie! ![]() Just cos you're OAM4J unpronounceable name: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hLUF0Gshbo&feature=player_embedded |
blacksta:I DON'T THINK SO. What about the below? I hate to even translate that. You will get spanked and not in a good way! A thorough beating. Like you stole something from the teacher. Hmmph! ![]() blacksta: |
naijababe:Yup, that's why! ![]() T'oluwa nile and Owo Blow remain my all time favourites. However, others to check out are Magun, Agogo eewo, Koseegbe (Mainframe)I saw that a couple of weeks. The same cultured Yoruba friend intent on educating me on all things Naija I may have missed sent it to me. I think that may actually be DAYOKANU's favorite movie. Or is it what he threatens all his wife with - Magun ko. Mabole ni. (I thought of another word, but I'd never live it down on NL.) ![]() |
OAM4J:You're tenacious. I should have known. Emi o le'mi ija ori internet o. Sugbon ija ita - E pe mi nigbakigba, maa ba yin lo. hahaha. E be're l'owo "F.Alejo" ni'gba to ma n fa wahala pelu mi. hahahaha. Mii fe ranti rara. OAM4J:Nice. ![]() And here is one for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z2LNsifEzg&NR=1 Naijababe will not get any music from me. I'll explain later. |
OAM4J:hehehehe. YOU WIN. Just keep hearing what you want, ma broda. I'm no match at this. |
OAM4J:Never lost it. WTH! How dare you, bro! After reading the 3 word phrase, I rarely see what follows. . . yeah, blame it on senior moment too.Daaammnn! You keep a tab ( ![]() No, I am not high. Not drunk either. ![]() [flash=200,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lx7uguvFzM[/flash] |
OAM4J:hahahahaha. Okay. Confession that what? "I love you like a redheaded stepbrother"? Let's just drop it now before we start something we can't finish. ![]() So, the other 3?: I'm not trying to put sand in your garri. I am sure there is only one. Don't mind me. I could have sworn I saw. . . hmmph. Probably just a senior moment as per usual. ![]() |
Saworoide, Clip 1: [flash=400,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXdiuFSFkWQ[/flash] So, this movie was shared with me. That's right - I am ashamed - I hadn't seen it before. Part of the tragedies of being a Naija abroad. Please helep me, my people. I need to increase my Nollywood knowledge. Refer good meaningful "cultured" movies, preferably in Yoruba language. But any referral is appreciated. |
OAM4J, I don't want to derail the other thread. Whatsamatter? How would you like me to describe you? Why are you being so petulant and sensitive? You have Mukina. Can't you be happy with one - two - three -FOUR suitors/girlies?! Or did I misunderstand? Again. ![]() P.S. And where is confession number one? |
OAM4J:I love you like a redheaded stepbrother, but the only child of Oduduwa authorised to confer titles in Nairaland is oga Kilode?! ![]() |

You amuse me as well. In a Beavis (Debosky) and Butthead (Blackstadumbarse) kind of way. |
PhysicsMHD:You amuse me. Feel free to do a little dance whenever you crave my attention. ![]() OAM4J:Quit bending my ears! Where is the music? ![]() [quote author=Jenifa_ link=topic=590933.msg7843058#msg7843058 date=1299220752]almost 40 pages already. Isale gan u are trying o[/quote]It would be 80 pages by now if actually kept up the daily updates. lol. One thing I am happy about is that it is not on the front page; it would totally ruin the concept. Despite that, I still get NL &*^%#% sashaying in here with nothing to contribute but: "boooo hisss. . . why so exclusive?. . . . . . yada yada whine whine." lol |
mutter:OMG. Horrible. Well, I hope you are no longer going through that. I see now why you understand. I haven't been in that situation, but I've seen it in Nigeria and I've seen it in America. It happens in every social class and every race or color. |
obowunmi:Monkeylover, we meet again. You've been very understanding to this woman up to now. Maybe you saw holes in her story. True tales will not always flow the way movies or tv shows do - neatly scripted, nicely packaged and wrapped up. I was going to let you know that I feel the story is true, but Mutter already did that. OP, GeorgeR, my first response was going to be, to calll your family, especially your mother, but I kept reading further and saw that your mother insisted you put up with this craziness. So, lets set that avenue aside. At first I read North "America" instead of "Africa." That made me sit up straight, ready to give you my IM to message me so I could call the cops for you, since you were reluctant to do so. What lunacy! You're in North Africa, a member of a church, your husband is isolating you, you have no friends, and can't speak the language. You don't have family that can truly be of help to you, you had to drop out of school for financial reasons, you have 2 children and have had at least one miscarriage (did your husband beat you or quarrel with you so much you lost the baby?). . . I mean, your problems are numerous and your situation is dire. But your life is not over. I really feel bad for you. The way your husband has treated you is outrageous, cruel and inhumane. Whatever you do, evey plan you make should have its ultimate goal as you leaving this man - no matter what it takes and how long it takes. I hate to give advice, and always put the children first before a divorce. . . but you can't stay in this situation - with this creature that thinks he is a man. And you're only 25 too. Please take care of yourself and don't provoke him - I doubt it takes much - just plan to get out alive! ::sad:: ![]() |
OAM4J:Yeah, I get it. Meh, FakePhysicist doesn't bother me. What's your history with him? Did you see my first response to you? Anyway, since we can't get the tall gangly fella in here to do a spastic dance, FakePhysicist will have to do. it's the reason why I rarely e-fightI don't believe you! I could'a sworn I saw you get into an online battle royale the other day. ![]() |
Well, right now, he amuses me. But, seriously, what "ignore button"? The only ignore button I know is the one that prevents posters from IM'ing you (via Nairaland). What'chu talking about, bro? Personally, I would love such a feature, but I wouldn't waste it on Physics. He's possessed by his evil twin right now; normally, he is full of all kinds of scholarly info (I mean, copy and paste). ![]() |
OAM4J:I like to give. That's the kind of Naija I am. Especially to a fellow Naija in need. It fulfills my charity quota. Physics needs attention, that's why he's here. He doesn't really mean the stuff he says. All fake hostility and umbrage. ![]() |
"PhysicsMHD 12:06:52 AM Viewing the topic London Company Sells bosom Milk Icecream." hahahahaha. hehehehehe. |
PhysicsMHD:Okay, I'll give you some attention. What's bothering you? Trouble at home? Are you a Naijaman abroad? :::Wondering what country is desperate enough to take the likes of Physics.OD.OPP.GED::: ![]() |
PhysicsMHD:Achtung, Bini man! Stop looking for my trouble. ![]() This thread is way cooler than you'll ever be. Even on its off days, I bet it generates more views than any thread you could ever open. ![]() |

to ask. hehehehe. Some lingo are used more often depending which forum you visit. I never saw SMH before, at least not as much as it is on NL.
