Christianity Etc › Spirit Of Delay: My Personal Story Should Encourage You by iSense247(op): 1:19pm On Oct 13, 2022 |
Pastor Azzaman I have a prayer request , please ask God what's the cause of delay in my life?
I believe many of you are thinking like the way the lady who sent me that message today. Let me tell you today God doesn't look at your age to bless you with a husband or a Job. The world might say you are old but to God Almighty you are just okay.
GOD OWNS THE EARTH ,THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT INCLUDING WHAT YOU DESIRE
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1
Many Christians don't have time to Pray personally and wait on the Lord that's why it seems God is delaying.
REASON OF YOUR DELAY IS YOU, NOT GOD
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. Isaiah 59:1-3
In Isaiah 59:1-3 Yahweh Elohim stated it clearly you are the cause of the delay not Him. When a man asked me same question the same man send me a text that he has offended God by commiting fornication and I told him that's the reason of delay in his life. Sin can delay your God's destiny.
Throughout my life I wanted to join the NIgerian Army , that has been my dream but biasness because of religion made me not to join the NIgerian Army. But does God really want me to be a soldier? My life has been a life of delay but I have never given up. I graduated from Secondary School in 1988 we are the first set of SSCE while most of my mates got admission into ABU ZARIA immediately after secondary school I had to wait until 1991 before I could gain admission into ABU. Most of my secondary school Mates graduated from the University in 1993 but I didn't graduate till 1998. Those of you that graduated in 1998 if you could remember we didn't go for NYSC until 1999, another delay. This delay was because of ASUU Strike then. After my dream to become a soldier was shattered because of my Faith. I opted to become a Banker , my interest shifted to bank.
After my Youth Service I was told Gulf bank then want to recruit , but I have to go to their Northern Regional office at Kano. In the bank I was told I am qualified but my age they need somebody not above 26 years and I was 29years old then. I was so disappointed that I cried along bank road in Kano. I was asking alot of questions what does age got to do with getting a Job and even if I am above 26 years old did I caused it. Because ASUU strike lasted for 3 years then in ABU ZARIA. Late General Kontagora the sole administrator even closed the University for 1 year is it my fault. As I was crying on bank road in Kano asking these questions. I resolved that day and I told God I will NEVER REDUCE MY AGE TO GET A JOB even in the bank.
Eventually because of my Faith in God I got a Job in the bank after praying for 4 years at the age of 33years. But does God want me to be a banker ? While a teacher at FGGC Bakori in Katsina state many of my students and my colleagues teachers tell me I am a Pastor but I rejected it. When I entered the bank the bankers too tell me I am a Pastor but I reject it. And I do see myself preaching the Bible and Healing the sick in dreams but I still rejected it. Working in the bank is not as sweet as I thought , the targets, the insults the pressure. In the bank I faced another delay of my life , for 6 years I wasn't promoted sometimes even with appraisal of 94% . It was frustrating then seeing your juniors overtaking you in the bank and not that I wasn't hard working. When I left the bank in December 2015 , I had offers to go to another bank because of my 11 years experience in banking, but I decided to pray to that God that gave me Job in the bank at 33 years of age to direct me again.
My prayer point then was God should I go to another bank, Should I go for my masters or I apply a job with the Federal Civil Service. I prayed for 6 months, no response from God. Until the end of 6 months he came to me in a revelation and told me vividly to go to Bible School. He disclosed to me the school fees and who will pay for me. He also disclosed to me the lecture days. That's how I entered RHEMA BIBLE SCHOOL KADUNA.
I prayed for 4 years to be a banker and I prayed for 6 months to be a Pastor many Christians will see this as a delay. God doesn't look at a calendar before he blesses you. The problem is many Christians can not pray that long for something they give up. Imagine for 4 years I was praying for something until he answered me. When God answers you immediately , he wants to build your Faith. When God delays he wants to test your Faith as he tested me and sometimes God will not even answer your request for something because he has something better for you.
I was ordained a Pastor in July 2017 and today I see that I am born a Pastor not a teacher or a banker. I am Pastoring a Church now for 4 years and many Pastors who have been Pastoring for over 30years tell me what I have achieved in 4 years many Pastors even in 10years they haven't achieved it. Somebody called me yesterday from Kaduna that they want me to be one of the moderators in a debate for Kaduna State Governorship Aspirant, together with a reknown Islamic scholar in Kaduna, according to him I am the most popular Pastor now in Kaduna State. Something I didn't asked I didn't apply or bargain for.
If I consider my age 52 by December I would be complaining of delay. God blesses us in several ways. Some of my mates in the bank might be Directors now. Our security man in the bank called me one day and said Mr. David when you left the bank we pitied you, we said how will this man survive with a wife and children but now I can see you are doing better than bank. He is right, in the bank I earn N6.7m then in a year , I saw money but no peace of mind , in serious debt then. As a Pastor I don't have N6.7m but I have rest , I have peace of mind. The people I know as a Pastor I never knew them.as a banker. Just last week a former Head of State of NIgeria called me.just to greet me. JESUS I THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE HONOURED ME. WHO AM I A FORMER.LEADER OF NIGERIA CALLING.ME JUST TO GREET ME, IF NOT JESUS. And I really thank God. If I knew I am born a Pastor I wouldn't waste my time.teaching and counting money for people in the bank. But one of my mentors said being a teacher before and a banker wasn't a waste of time God allowed you to have that experience. So that your life would be a testimony to others.
This is to encourage some of you that think God is washing time about your situation. Moses ran from Egypt at 40years and he became a leader at 80years. Sarah gave birth at 90years. Don't be afraid of menopause he created menopause and therefore he can remove it so that you have your child.
As you read this to the end,. I declare as a. Servant of the Most HIGH GOD, YAHWEH ELOHIM Before the end of December 2022 after the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, whatever you are trusting God for you shall receive it in Jesus Christ Glorified Name. By this season according to the time of life , you shall embrace your child and if you are not married you will settle, IN JESUS CHRIST GLORIFIED NAME AMEN.
YOU ARE BLESSED AND JESUS LOVES YOU SO MUCH

Tinubu's surpporters using bot generated "likes" to deceive people on Nairaland. Who noticed that lhordspy, PandoraObi, LegendHero and others use to have many and same or close number of 'Likes and Shares' on Nairaland no matter how petty or naive their comments are? Take for instance, in the comment below: PandoraObi: Ok , PandoraObi who is the same person as etrouble just replied a thread with "Ok" and it attracted 109 "Likes" exactly same the BATist before (lhordspy) and after (LegendHero) him. Seun, Mynd44, OAM4J please look into this. This kind of scam should not be tolerated on this platform.

Politics › The Trajectory Of An APC Supporter by iSense247(op): 8:42pm On Oct 10, 2022 |
It's really scary that someone would pass through what we have passed in this country and still have the guts to insult those who insist they and their children have a right to exist like those in other countries.
I have a true story too.
In 2013, we had this friend, who owned a thriving laundromat somewhere in Surulere, he was doing relatively well. Servicing bank, oil, and corporate workers.
Same 2013, he approached me and requested for me to guarantee a facility he was applying from a microfinance bank.
He explained he was opening another niche in his dry cleaning business, washing clothes for boarding students of private secondary schools.
He had been able to sign contracts with about 10 schools, each contract worth N500k monthly.
It requires him to provide a medium-sized generator and washing machine in each school, with a staff. So he would be making a gross of N5M monthly.
I saw it as a good deal and agreed to guarantee the loan he was seeking.
The business commenced. Apart from the 8 staff working for him in the Surulere-based laundromat, he employed another batch of 10 workers, trained and dispatched them to the different schools he was servicing.
Every month end, once we have paid our respective workers, we hung out at a cozy lounge along Bode Thomas Junction in Surulere, have a drink and a chat, with other entrepreneurs with similar challenges.
I remember then, there was always this argument about whether the Nigerian economy was really overtaking the South African economy or not.
Arguments for and against flowed and ebbed. The election primaries came and APC chose Buhari as their candidate.
Many of us warned about this no leave, no transfer geriatric recluse, they have sprung, from his no reduction, no increase 150 cows farm to overseeing the fate of 200M Nigerians.
This my guy who owned a dry cleaning company became an apostle of Buharinomics.
We pointed out the red flags, this candidate didn't pass WAEC, it does not matter, since he left office, he had not even attended a workshop nor had any opportunity for an introspective and reflective look at his past governance, it does not matter. This guy as head of PTF under Abacha had tended to extreme nepotism, it does not matter.
The election was held and Buhari won. Many of us prayed for his success and yours truly even wrote an article, where I hoped that my negative reading of him would be found to be wrong, because my being wrong about him, means good tidings for the country.
By 2016, things had fallen apart, the major discussions in bars and lounges were no longer about the healthy economic rivalry between Nigeria and South Africa, but increasingly about between Nigerians and cows, which of them have superior right to road, land, food or security access.
My dry cleaner guy turned into a troll, ambushing people's Facebook pages to mock us as wailers. I had to block him, he opened another account with a different name and sought my friendship, I accepted and he pounced immediately, attacking my posts.
I found out he was the one and blocked him. Thereafter, I stopped accepting people I don't know well as Facebook friends.
We lost touch throughout Buhari's first tenure and much of his 2nd term.
Just last week, I saw his missed call, then he called again, I picked, that was the first time we were talking in about 6 years.
He sounded cheerful, then I asked about his business, he paused, then told me he had closed the business, I was like, a thriving business that occupied an entire compound?
He said yes. What happened ?
Most of his clientele relocated out of the country, others now wash their clothes at home, and the remaining customers were not paying enough to keep the place afloat.
What of the school washing business? That closed too, parents were no longer paying for their wards' clothes to be washed, instead, the students do their washings on Saturdays.
I had to commiserate with him. I wondered about the 18 workers rendered jobless.
He then requested assistance from me, I assumed it would be another loan-guaranteeing request, but he said he needs some money. I reminded him that this is school fees season, and he said it's not that type of funds he was seeking but a small amount like 2 or 5k, men asking for such an amount is no longer strange because the economy has so contracted, it's like one pressed a lump of fufu into a handy ball, but for a person making more than N10M gross monthly? WTF!
I reminded him, Guy we told you guys! He kept quiet.
2023 is another time for choosing .
Look at your children before you make that choice! If you don't have kids yet, think of your unborn children before you make that choice! If your children are grown, think of your grandchildren before you make that choice!
If you are a diasporan, you may never set your foot in Nigeria or have a home country again if you do not influence those you know to make the right choice. Those who inflicted Buhari from 2015 on us, should never be trusted with the leadership of this country for their choice led us to this Golgotha.
If because of self-interest they made such a bad bargain, for expediency, they would make a worse one!

gunnersway: I was just telling someone this same thing. Trained personnel with the same gun your attackers have always having a free day with you. The other day trained 4 or 3 military men was just shot at and all killed. No single return fire or even successful escape was made. What kind of training do they go through again in that defense academy? They don't go through training at all, they go through torture rather. North or south, untrained gunmen waste them at will. Time is coming when unarmed street touts will be chasing them away like rodents. |

APC modus operandi - malign Christian leaders in the open, go back to appease them in the secret. Insult them during the day, go back to beg them during the night. APC, an Islam'ic party have a seen christians as stupid people.
We Yoruba Christians will vote Obi since Tinubu is on Muslim-Muslim ticket. When MURIC told Yoruba Muslims not to vote Yoruba Christians, Tinubu supported MURIC on that. So we Yoruba Christians are not fools to vote muslim-terrorist ticket.
No spirit-filled Christian will vote kleptomaniac-terrorist ticket at this time in Nigeria when there's a good and balanced alternative in Peter Obi. We SW say no to muslim-terrorist ticket. You can't Islamise us again.

Politics › Illegally Elected Officials Will Be Dissolved After November 27 by iSense247(op): 8:06am On Oct 10, 2022 |
The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reiterated its call for the outgoing government of Adegboyega Oyetola to drop the idea of going ahead with the scheduled council poll in the state, noting that illegally elected officials will not last beyond November 27.
The party in a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle, said the planned exercise by the APC was a waste of scarce resources and a continuation of the party's ploy to throw the state into confusion, calling on Osun people to stay away from the sham that has no benefit for the state.
"In furtherance of our earlier warnings, anyone who emerged from the illegal election will be dissolved after November 27," Dr Adekunle noted, adding that "The reason for this is simply because our party will never condone any act of illegality, which is the clear reflection of the planned exercise."
Dr Adekunle who said his party is not averse to having elected officials at the local government, however, said "The position of our party remains that laws should be a guiding principle, and not the shenanigan we have seen so far."
"It is on this note that we want to call on Osun people to stay away from this illegality by not participating in the exercise. The implication of joining APC in its voyage of illegality is a costly one especially for our struggling state, which has tones of obligations unmet, particularly pension arrears."
"At the appropriate time and in line with the laws, our party will conduct council elections and bring about the right government for people at the grassroots, not the charade that APC is planning."
