Romance › Re: A Thread for Single Ladies :) by ITbomb(m): 8:01pm On Mar 29, 2013
DailyNews: Hello fellows, I hope u guys are enjoying the good friday? I strongly believe so.

@Carm, nice to see u return to your thread after a long recession (*smiles*), I hope everything is fine with u and the rest of others?

Let me quickly go straight to some points.

First, @Carmelion, pls I am never a match-maker, I hate that name, and in fact, I have had several incidents of very pretty/working class single ladies tease me, saying- hey F, since u aren't ready to hookup or settle, its high time u start introducing me and my lovely friends to some of your frnds o...and I usually laugh n even turn down some people who try to coerce me into introducing their female relations to my friends, cos I hate matchmaking but I didn't knew what came over me to even make d attempt to hook u up with a close frnd of mine, seriously it is unlike me, and to even think it was via the internet...and I am sure it was becos I was carried away by the brother-sister rapport like a family we had here that prompted me to make that attempt...so thanks for opening my eyes more to a new side of life.

Meanwhile, if at all I am ready (not financially anyway, but on some other personal targets I set for myself), I am very sure that there are plenty of wonderful ladies to consider offline, and if at all I resort to online,I still have many good options, and again, if at all I decide to make it here on nairaland, I am sorry to say that there are plenty wonderful ladies to consider, like- specialguest (a wonderful lady with good hrt), winneygirl (observe her if u guys care), bernfame (so reserved), sanb (pure lady), eddewiss (hmm), mayapretty (good composure), Ivynwa (lol, so full of humour) and of course you carmelion, plus etc, etc, etc would have been on my list.

If you study me well, I am not a pretender, I don't back-bite, I don't tongue lash, and I hate being seen as faceless. At least people like Idowuogbo and so many others have seen my face, and many have met me in person here, so if I say I am a carpenter, I tap palm wine, I ride a camel, and that I live in Bahamas, that's exactly who I am and I aint scared of anyone cos I haven't committed any crime, and besides, I can't even hide cos...lol *winks*

Even some nairalanders here are also my friend on facebook, that doesn't change anything, at least that would make me more real and genuine so that when I talk, they can testify, so I would advice u @Carmelion to open up a bit to your fellow females (not talking abt guys now pls, u can close the door for guys, that's commendable), so they too can learn from u personally and not just via literary works here which anyone can put up, that I think would make u more authentic to them.

I am saying this becos I am a very open-minded person, and I believe in honesty and transparency no matter who is hurt by it, and so I have to tell u this as someone who has come to cherish your personality here. Believe it or not, many will be doubting ur personality Carmelion if u keep turning even ur fellow females frnd request down; they might not tell u, becos they might be afraid not to loose their paddyship or rapport with u here on nairaland, but turning down on both female and male friendships here doesn't speak well of the cause u had been championing and made people to believe.

I am sorry to say this- you touched me with your composure and personality here that I wouldn't have cared about any of your flaws if at all I wanted to go out with u (that's my nature, beauty might not move me, flimsy thing might).

The way u and mayapretty kept saying- I LOVE MY FUTURE HUSBAND, and the desire for true companionship that isn't like the ones we see rampant today- boy meets girl, girl agrees, boy takes girl home and start sleeping with her and they answer lovers mentality, that I saw in both you and Mayapretty made me desire to marry, I must confess.

So dear, if you truly want to be a reformist, a true role model and an inspiration to other depressed and non-depressed single ladies out there, u must be ready to embrace them, befriend them, conquer that word- FACELES by showing them who u truly are offline, so try and open that door and embrace your fellow ladies at least, you never can tell.

You can't believe I met an American citizen I transacted a business with and made good profit via my blog.

I once met a guy (from Anambra) via my blog and we engaged in a biz, though it didn't quite paid off, but we are very close now...so be wise, be conservative and at the same time study people and make friends for future.

I used to condemn internet dating, but I later realized that good people are really meeting and getting married via internet.

You can see an example on this nairaland between Sexkillz and Ogugua88, theirs is a good example that I always pray silently that they walk to the altar someday. So be wise and goodluck in all your life endeavour.

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter celebrations ahead!
