MTN has it in GSM coverage for making and receiving calls, but if u r asking for 3g and EDGE network coverage , it is Airtel and Glo.
Imagine holding an MTN fone and seeing full network bar yet u cannot open a single page, talkless of streaming video. I can never try that on MTN , so frustrating

@OP, which village are you in Akwa Ibom cos at least the 3 main economic centers , Uyo , Ikot Ekpene , Eket all have Post Office at very prominent places.
