This is really true. During my nysc orientation camp, there was this fair lady with beautiful smiles, I never really noticed her till one evening when we sat down together at the photographer’s stand going through our pictures with the guys laptop. I thought she looked beautiful and wanted to be silly with her so I joked about the beautiful pictures i saw her smiling and called her a “monkey”. I noticed she became shy afterwards. “Mission achieved right”? Saw her the next day and noticed she had a hunchback. Immediately I felt bad and knew I went too far. In my guilt I became friends with her and always forced her to hangout with my guys and I at maami every evening until we left camp. I lost interest in her but knew my previous comments could affect her mental health greatly, hench I did what I had to do to make her smile till we left camp. She ended up asking me out some months later but I told her I was already in a relationship and can’t cheat on my girl. I beseech all men to be considerate towards women as they are human beings with emotions too. Be kind to them, many are victims of the society.
