Already seeing a bunch of those illiterates Wole Soyinka was talking about - most didn't bother to fully read the article, let alone understood it but rushing to comment like fools.SMH |
Wole na true you talk; most of them no dey read at all before dem comment and those that do, no get comprehension kpata kpata - always rushing to the wrong conclusion; na so dem full here for Nairaland. SMH. |
Good; they should fish them out immediately because we have many of them here in Nairaland; always shouting 'Aboki no go school' and 'Buhari no get certificate'; yet when you accost them you will quickly find out that they know nothing - mere chest beating air heads. |

Nonsense, was it not the same ppl who are now criticising him that were also criticising him prior to the elections for giving orders to the security agencies to deal ruthlessly with ballot box snatchers? - what hypocrites. |
Obi1kenobi:Assuming you are right (which isn't true) that they dominate Lagos; pls explain to me whether Lagos covers and therefore represents the whole of Nigeria? - see how your shallow defective logic can easily lead you to the wrong conclusion. You are wrong again; the issue is indeed about crime which currently threatens our national security - unless you want us to believe that the allegations of killings and maiming by the herdsmen are legitimate activities and not criminal - see how confused and illogical you are. BTW, I bet you did not know that GEJ is the life Patron of Miyetti Allah - who approved N100 Billion towards resuscitation of their grazing dilapidated routes.

Didn't they claim to be Jews? Then why are they squabbling over land that does not belong to them? They should go back to Israel, where they belong and leave the land to Fulani herdsmen, who are more Nigerian than them. ![]() |
bigfish3k:And your ppl are also killing, stealing and pushing drugs - likewise; why haven't you cautioned them? |
Obi1kenobi:Northerners in the south pale little in comparison to southerners in the north, engaged in all sorts of activities and quite a lot among them are not saints; they are also into crime (which has no tribe), some of them though not violent but equally deadly e.g. fake products such medicinal drugs which silently kills thousands on daily basis - just to mention a few. There is insecurity everywhere, what we have is a national problem that need to be solved without politicising it, along the lines of tribe, region and religion; otherwise everybody can play the same game - lets see who would lose. |
gaetano:Investigative journalism my foot: where media houses often relay reports based on stereotypes and mere assumptions, from their comfortable air conditioned offices in Lagos, Port Harcot and Abuja; the most they do to protect themselves from possible sanction is to put the pre-qualifier word 'SUSPECTED' before herdsmen, when publishing their stories; you never hear of any follow up concerning the true identities of the real killers - meanwhile, Nigerians are carelessly and conveniently being led to be believe almost all killings are attributable to Fulani herdsmen - whether true or not. |
Coitus:Quite on the contrary; I also watched the full length clip via the link you provided and came to quite a different conclusion than the one you are providing. What you had expected and wanted her to do was to allow a man make outlandish claims on national tv, unchallenged without verification, to suit the ongoing anti Fulani/herdsmen/ and anti Buhari govt narrative, with the ongoing tacit collaboration of the Christian dominated southern media. Unfortunately for some of you, one journalist (Moupe) in this particular instance stood up and did her job, professionally as expected through intelligent questioning. She pick him up on some of his conspiracy theories: e.g. DAS i.e. Demographic Alteration Scheme which he tried to pin on Miyetti Allah without any backing; he also claimed that the killer herdsmen were French speaking Fulanis from other countries, based on his experience of speaking to only a few of them in Zamfara state; he furthermore claimed that the FG was sponsoring land grabbing through ethnic cleansing but could not pinpoint who it planned to resettle and benefit from such grabbed land - after excluding everybody, including Nigeria's indigenous Fulani as the potential beneficiaries (what a confused fellow). In short, the man was loud and emotionally hyped making quite volatile and ridiculous claims which clearly needed to be checked - apparently Moupe did a good job of cross checking him through her line of questioning, in order to avoid the public being mislead with such baseless lies and propaganda - I frankly saw nothing wrong with it. |
deantimes:The toxic tribal bigot should know that violence and crime has no tribe and that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander; he and his fellow jingoist should also do likewise and recall his ppl back to their own enclave - intolerance also breeds intolerance. |
Some ppl may even try to link these attacks to Fulani herdsmen. |
SLAP44:By the way some irresponsible regional/tribal leaders are making volatile inciting statements, we may as well be facing another round of tit for tat; where your ppl are likely also to sent out packing out with their loads on their heads - then we will see who will be going around begging and suing for peace. Careful what you are wishing for - it may come back to haunt you. |
SLAP44:You represent the exact type of Nigerians the Bishop was talking about - who tribalise crime and spread hate. In the same vein; are you suggesting that selling fake/adulterated products and pushing drugs, prevalent among Igbos is hard work - how many thousands are silently being killed through fake medicinal drugs (as just one example) on a daily basis by, according to you, hard working Igbos? Go back and carefully consider the message Rev. Kukah is trying to pass and pls stop the bigotry. |
Tolexander:And you think the same experiment cannot or should not also be carried out on southerners in the north? Those breeding intolerance should be very careful otherwise they too shall reap intolerance - some ppl are playing a very dangerous politics with Nigeria. The day a Nigerian is not free to live in any part of this country without fear for his life or molestation because of his religion or tribe is the beginning of the end. |
What do you expect after years of constant silent indoctrination against Islam and Muslims by a Western dominated media; indeed it is not surprising if some ppl eventually begin to lose their true sense of proportionality and perspective in favour of the false narrative that all Muslims are terrorists. We are are also increasingly seeing this phenomenon here in Nigeria; where our young men and women are unfortunately being slowly turned into foolish bigots. |
Exposed! Yet another southern media house caught pants down shamelessly propagating Fake News against this administration. We are aware how these hate merchants are trying to set this country on fire via their toxic propaganda and false narrative of Islamisation and Fulanisation. They are using tribal hatred and the gullibility of Nigerians to cause disunity and unrest to further their selfish and narrow minded political agenda - reactions to the killing of this woman by yet to be identified masked gunmen (presumed to be Fulani herdsmen without any evidence at all) is clearly driven by politics. |
MetaPhysical:If you had read the story carefully, you would have deduced that these were real herdsmen because they were with their cows, which strayed into the deceased farmer's land and caused some damage; which in turn led to the altercation that ultimately resulted in the farmer's death. There seems to be an apparent increasing apathy in reading and comprehension because some ppl are still foolishly asking 'where are the cows' even after the story had clearly mentioned them. SMH. |
So dem even dey open training school for yahoo yahoo to corrupt others in their business. |
SUSPECTED Fulani herdsmen did it ![]() |
Some ppl may quite likely have to eat their words when the identities of the perpetrators are finally disclosed. |
thesicilian:Already trying to spin an excuse should the perpetrators turn out to be not the ones many of you want to pin the blame on - by hook or by crook. |
ebbo:He is pure Fulani. |
GenSpecifics:Pls provide evidence where Miyetti made such vow; otherwise kindly stop spreading ignorance and silly bigotry aimed at stoking fear and unrest between Nigerians - your likes are truly among the problems with the present young generation whose gullibility makes easy them tools of manipulation by bitter unscrupulous politicians hell bent on pushing their selfish agenda at the expense of national security. I am challenging to provide the evidence or hide your head in shame as an ignorant bigot. ![]() |
SUSPECTED but not yet confirmed to be herdsmen; yet some ppl are already spamming the airway with all kinds insults and bigotry. |
It's common among them; they of rape often women old to be their mothers and grandmothers. https://dailypost.ng/2014/09/04/sons-rape-us-imo-christian-mothers/ |
After they have insulted their fellow citizens and home country, calling them zombies and a zoo respectively; most of them end up in another man's country where they are getting paid back in the same coin - Karma is a bitch. I feel sorry for the few innocent ones amongst them; but majority deserve what they get. |
I doubt the authenticity of this man's claim; he is most probably a ranch hand claiming to be the owner of such outfight; knowing how Igbos are so boastful, if truly he was the owner, he would have given more than a few seconds of a clip of cows eating from a trough and evidently struggling with the technical name of feed they were feeding from. The least I would have expected from such person was him to disclose his identity (he would have nothing fear in Europe), name of the ranch, its location and country in Europe; I would have also expected a bit of show off from him by giving us a round tour of the farm; yet all we could see was the few seconds of a nondescript ranch and a tribal loaded voice commentary that could easily have been lifted from IPOB Bureau of Statistics and Fake News. This video simply reeks of IPOB propaganda - though I might be wrong. |
Judges are held under high legal and moral standing compared to ordinary citizens; ordinarily after such fraudulent findings against her she should have been prosecuted forthwith; but instead is being let off the hook while still making trouble for her employers - playing the religious card to cover up her gross misconduct. |
Donedealer:You will not get up and do something about your poverty stricken life and that of your sister who is trapped in a horrible abusive marriage; instead you are here yarning dust about Buhari's level of literacy - which in any case seems far better than yours, judging by the poor quality of your posts so far. |
Let each one protect his own; if Christians do not value their own and don't mind its desecration then that is entirely up to them; meanwhile Muslims will continue to do their best to preserve what is most sacred to them. |
