FarahAideed:When the killings are in the core north against Muslim victims, the killers are called bandits i.e. by their correct name; however, when the same crime occurs in the Middle Belt or Christian south, the killers are divisively labelled Fulani Herdsmen. |
Takeproft:Face the issues raised: was she not resisting and fighting back and therefore did she not contributed to her situation? Besides, isn't America the reference standard that most Nigerians seem to gravitate to - so whats your problem? |
I am not sure the Policemen was entirely at at fault; watch the video closely again and you will notice that the woman contributed significantly by resisting and fighting back - in such circumstances even an American Cop would do worse - some ppl are just plain stubborn, and certainly this woman was. |
See his flat head. |
As usual they export their criminality and shamelessly turn around to blame the govt for failing to protect them; while at the same time claiming not to be Nigerians; if they don't change, sooner or later Chinese ppl would also start wasting them like the South Africans. |
Sheer ignorance and stupidity; imagine apparently educated ppl still believing in nonsense such as juju. |
Cutting off your nose to spite your face. This woman can't be sincere; imagine praying for your own country's failure; so if the project fails whose money would have been wasted - Nigerians should now know the real enemy. |
kandi006:You just finished reading Premium Times and The Nations ba? |
Azmodan:Lol, this one pass knockout punch. ![]()

Lies from the pits of hell; from the moment they said the girl is Hausa it immediately became clear that this Nollywood story must have been scripted from the backstreets of Aba; because Bulus is not a Hausa name and no Hausa person would willingly answer it. I am sure, if you were to interview the girl, the alleged abductor and all the ppl mentioned you would most definitely get an entirely different story. - especially on the issue of forceful abduction and conversion, which are practically quite difficult to accomplish on an unwilling subject. The case of Ese Oruru and Yunusa comes to mind where a clear case of elopement by two lovers was quickly hijacked and turned on its head into a platform of hateful frenzy of propaganda by Christian pressure groups and the southern media, in order to castigate Muslims/Hausa Fulani in general. The most unfortunate part of that case was that prominent ppl such as Tunde Bakare, Senator Ben Bruce, FFK etc, who should have acted better, all jumped in without proper investigation until the truth began to slowly emerge then they suddenly went into a conspiracy of silence after having contributed their own damage. |
Just watch as this story will not make headlines nor will it be carried by the mainstream media - what hypocrisy. |
What a bunch of hypocrites; see them killing somebody for the value of a mere motorcycle (sometimes for as little as an ordinary phone or necklace) yet the same ppl would turnaround and say the Fulani herdsmen are equating the value of human life with their cows. |
As usual, trying to turn a molehill into a mountain; see how they are spinning this story making it as if they were targeted and stopped from travelling. If you read the story very carefully you'll find that chartered flights were allegedly denied landing approvals to Benue for security reasons, rather than they themselves. If they were hell bent on travelling they could have easily made alternative arrangements e.g. boarded any regular direct or connecting flight to Benue instead of a private charted aircraft. Besides, they are giving themselves far too importance as if their presence could have resulted in some kind of earth shattering consequence that would have warranted the FG to stop them from attending the conference. Alternatively, the govt could have easily stopped the conference had it felt such a meeting posed a threat to it - this all seems like an attention seeking propaganda by spent PDP remnant forces looking for ways to still remain relevant. |

FarahAideed:Seems like someone is rooting for a post on the Premium Times editorial board to assist them coordinate more fake news. |
Kennyprince:Don't mind the ignoramuses, many of them don't bother with facts they rely on fake news channels instead. You were quite right; apparently Ortom has fallen out with his godfather Akume, who controls the Benue State APC party structure and in consequence is no longer guaranteeing him the governorship party ticket. Ortom can therefore not claim that the party is the one pushing him out (e.g. by expulsion) simply because he lost out in his local constituency (in-house) power play. |
magoo10:Premium Times fake news reader spotted. |
TEYA:And apparently understood nothing but fake news
|
haaryobhami:You initially denied having clashes in Yoruba land until it was pointed out to you; you then suddenly changed to claiming to have past it - well keep shifting the goalpost. Of course I didn't even bother to mention the many clashes between Yoruba communities and other ethnic groups e.g. Hausa in Ile Ife, Lagos etc; Igbos in Akure, Ondo; Egun speaking Benin indigenes in Lagos etc; because you would likely bring up one excuse or denial. https://www.icirnigeria.org/ethnic-tension-rises-over-hausa-yoruba-clash-in-ife/ http://nigeriavillagesquare.com/forum/threads/yoruba-and-ibo-clash-in-akure.91258/ http://silverbirdtv.com/uncategorized/31111/communal-clash-lagos-police-restore-calm-rescues-2-day-old-baby/ Perhaps you may also want to deny the conflict between the Iwada and Okerisa-Aruwayo ppl of Okitipupa LGA Ondo State - as recently as 2017, among others. http://sunnewsonline.com/land-war-in-ondo-okitipupa-communities-at-daggers-drawn/ Finally, I cannot see how my comment could have justified any killing; though you are free to keep deceiving yourself. |
TEYA:Been watching to many Nollywood movies and reading Premium Times fake news; pls engage me when you factual intelligent argument to make - otherwise, don't waste my time. |
CanineOfJackal:Sorry, have no time for stale IPOB logic. |
lastmessenger:Seems someone needs a brain reset |
paramakina202:Make your point within the context of this topic of the thread and I will be ready to take you on |
haaryobhami:Pray tell, Ife/Modakeke crisis, was between what groups? Not justifying any killing but simply pointing out the ignorance and deep seated hypocrisy in the ongoing narrative concerning the farmer/herder crisis. |
LOL, see cheap propaganda; how would an ignorant herdsman even know and take advantage of the change of governance that only happened yesterday? Besides, Fayose is this the effective governor with full powers till handing over in October later this year - what cry baby liars. |
TEYA:And somehow your intelligence is still telling you that only Fulani can herd cows and that there no native herders in Benue/Plateau.SMH |
PrecisionFx:So are you now trying to justify jungle justice - just because you ppl practice it? Besides, how is that any different from the killings by the herdsmen - what would you then call it (maybe forest justice)? The Ebonyi vs Cross River communal crisis has been going on for over 20 yrs, just recently as many as 7000 were displaced and over 40 killed including a village chief, who was beheaded; pls do not advertise your ignorance by denying it; try Google for all the information you need, including pictures. |
LOL, E done happen ![]() I am sure many of them would be succumbing to their emotions instead of thinking with their brains right now; I will also predict that by this time next year the same lot would be begging for ranching once they calm down and appreciate the huge investment benefits and employment opportunities the said ranching would bring to their state. |
lastmessenger:Brainwashed full time reader of Premium Times and The Nation spotted. |
Lordlestat:A bigot spewing wild unintelligent propaganda theories spotted. |
Afonja007:My bloda, I need to tell you of the evil ugliness we dey una side - I no want talk of Cannibalism, baby factory, armed robbery, ritualism, kidnapping, drug pushing, rape/paedophilia, human trafficking, prostitution etc. |
TEYA:Tell that to the local Tivs, who were formerly referred to as Munci (pronounced Mun Chi, meaning in Hausa, 'we ate') famously known for stealing and eating Fulani cows. |
