What hypocrites; Igbos have been saying worse in various social media platforms and especially through their Biafran Radio as well as their late Dilector Kanu - the latter's hate speeches against the Hausa Fulani and the president are quite legendary.

Igbos are only reacting to what their kinsmen routinely do to others on daily basis - you only have to sift through some of the posts here in Nairaland to see for yourself.

You know what they do to those snakes? They harvest their venom, process it then ship it back to Nigeria and WE BUY for our hospitals. Is this not crazy?
Surprisingly, to make an anti venom is quite easy.
1. Extract the venom
2. Inject it on a life horse
3. Take the blood of the horse after few hours and extract the white blood cells. Hola that is your anti venom med.
4. Ship it back to Africa and pocket your money.
Where are all our industrial microbiologists...and Lab scientists? Waitin una even go school go do? Too many ways to make money but we are all waiting for Npower.

I have said it before and will say it again that the mainstream media is clearly biased against the current president, his govt, region, religion and tribe.

This is not too hard to understand considering the ownership and control of these media houses; majority being in the hands of Christian southerners who happened also to be PDP chieftains: Channels (Tony Momoh); AIT (Raymond Dokpesi) Silverbird (Ben Bruce) - the same also goes for almost all the print and social media.

Its no wonder that they are always misquoting the president or deliberately misinterpreting his speeches/statements and therefore negatively misinforming the general public.

We all saw how they milked stories like those of the alleged kidnapping and forceful conversion of young Christian girls; Boko Haram; and lately, Killer Fulani Herdsmen - using heavy one-sided coverage and clearly tele-guiding invited guests/experts with biased loaded questions in order to lead them to respond in line with their predetermined biased narrative.

They continue to unprofessionally ascribe all killings to SUSPECTED Fulani herdsmen without any further effort to investigate the true identities of the killers and the reasons for such killings (because there are two sides to any story) as expected in real journalism.

The consequences of their actions has resulted in the unfair stigmatisation of a tribe (Fulani) and profession (cattle herding) as marauding killers attendant with further division of Nigerians along tribal and religious lines - what a shame.

The matter is quite straight forward: It is a private venture by a group of investors who bought a (2nd hand BP) refinery in Turkey and propose to dismantle and re-assemble it in Nigeria where they would run it for profit (like any private operation).
How they propose to run it, including who heads it, should really be up to them as the business owners - pls therefore explain where we would have a problem with this kind of arrangement.

They are Nigerians with constitutional rights to freedom of movement and association; they have a right to live and carry out their legitimate business in any part of Nigeria irrespective of what anyone would say - so long as they are are not in breach of any law; which is not apparent in this case.

This nonsense of stigmatisation and chasing out/arresting northerners started under Jonathan when Igbos started selectively detaining them as Boko Haram suspects without an iota of evidence; until the northerners threatened to retaliate that was only when Jonathan stepped in to ban the discriminatory act.

Now they want to resume the same discrimination against the Fulani under the pretext of killer herdsmen.

I am glad, however, that some among their own are already sounding the word of caution against the potential of similar retaliation in the north against their kinsmen; where there are many excuses of crime e.g. fake drugs/parts; kidnapping, robbery, drug pushing etc; that can be used against them.
