Conner44: What is hard to understand there?
You collected hp to remit N30k weekly and after a few months you complete your contract and own the car.
You then find a hardworking ‘ant’ driver and give your newly possessed car to drive and remit N30k to you weekly.
You go out and search for another hp contract to remit N25k - N30k weekly until you own the car.
You drive for the week, your own driver also drives for that same week . . . Now you have the choice of sitting at home on a few days and collecting the N30k from your own driver to remit to your new partner.
Every week you now save N30k, in a few months you pay off the current hp you have and then own the vehicle.
You then find another new hardworking ‘any’ driver to handle your newly owned car to remit N30k weekly on rentals.
Now you have two drivers remitting N60k weekly, you then go and take up a new hp contract to remit N30k to your new partner.
From this point on you can choose to sleep for a full week and still be able to collect rentals from your other two vehicles and remit to your new partner. If you’re still hardworking then you will be ‘almost’ certain of receiving N60k + weekly from all your hustles.
In a few months you clear off your current hp contract and then own 3 vehicles working for you. At this point you can still rinse and repeat or just use your skill and experience to manage the current fleet you have.
The above is just a business model one can use in this hustle as a poster pointed out earlier. So at this juncture I hope I have been able to convince you and not to confuse you . . . blah - blah - blah Put differently, If a driver earns 60k weekly on his car, he gives it out and takes another on HP. He's now earning 90k weekly(30k from rentals and 60k of his own). He pays 30k rental to the owner of the HP car and he's back to the same 60k he was earning on one car. Difference is, at the end of two years or however long the HP takes, he now has two cars as against one. This is a perfect scenario which is far from reality. I have not considered cost of maintenance and unforseen issues that may occur with the HP car. Another thing to consider is, the vehicle he's giving out has been used at least 2 years on E-haling. Can the 30k weekly rental its bringing in sustain the cost of repairs? The model requires a lot of thinking and careful analysis so the driver does not think he's making more money when he's actually losing |

We are in for a nice ride Nah, the outcome of a movie is hardly ever known. We are not talking of Naija movies here When I used to follow the TV series thread religiously and I see them talking about a newly released series, I unfollow the thread till all episodes are released and I've watched it. |

GrammarNazi1: Even POS agents at a moderately okay location make at least 100k per month. I don't know how young people with two hands and legs wake up early in the morning to work and earn 45k a month in jobs without prospects! When I asked a young security man where I work why he's wasting his life away on a 49k salary, he said he hasn't seen anything else to do. I just shook my head. I mean, you have off days every week. You can't look for an electrician or barber to attach to for 6 months, learn the ropes and start earning additional income before you find your feet? You can never go wrong acquiring skills. The skills I acquired during my service year still fetches me extra income till this day. If to say na old men that just need something to keep them busy i'll understand but not young guys And from the little they earn, na so so bet Naija and and Naira bet. I really can't wrap my head around it. |

Felicity001: That man deserves a medal. He understands the business very well.
So you finally relocated back to portharcourt? Wow! That's great. It's been ages I visited... I'll hit you up anytime I breeze in some day.
I learnt Woke has built some fly overs and has changed the face of Portharcourt, how true is it?
How far those clubs in GRA, is THE BOSS still functional? Grand zero (0) nko? Which club dey reign like this... Abeg gist me.
That location junction, coming from Mile 3 to access Ozuba/Choba Rd any fly over at that junction yet? How about. WATER LINES, any new look to Aba Rd?
Chai! I miss Portharcourt ooh... Those their hop spot )bars) with their cool Portharcourt musics...
I be Portharcourt boy e I be Portharcourt boy e Wone wo e.... Donca Mighty.
Abobi weeds!!? This man Yes, the clubs are still functioning. I hear there are lots of fresh babes coming to club these days due to the Law school that Wike built. Unfortunately, clubs are not my thing so I can't confirm. The city has been truly transformed. It's very difficult to find potholes on major roads. Yes, theres a flyover at Location junction. It runs along NTA road to Mgbuoba. Those going to Mile 3 have to go under the flyover. If you've been out of PH for some time, you can easily miss your way in places like Rumuokuta. There's a flyover on every junction along Aba road. From Mile 1 to CFC, Garrison, Waterlines, GRA, Rumuola, Artillery. You can drive the entire Aba road from oil mill to government house in less than 10 minutes. We can only hope that SIM does better than Wike has done because I can't begin to imagine how this city will look like if Wike had another 8 years. And I've been in PH for years. Didn't just relocate. |

Theflint1: Naaa, election petition tribunals open up questions on processes in legislation and election conduct, which in turn leads to better-written laws, and better-run elections, essentially plugging loopholes as they arise. If we don't question processes we can't improve, and however little the issue might be with the process, if the losing parties believe they have a legitimate case, by all means, they should always be encouraged to take matters to court.
Atiku and Obi requesting election petition tribunals should be televised live is something I didn't think of prior, and something I back, makes court processes a little bit more transparent. Also, the issue with the poorly written Abuja debacle raises another set of questions, which may eventually lead to that portion of the constitution getting a review so it's clearly understood by all parties. I just hope you're not part of those who argued that the last election is the worst we've had. If you are, it invalidates everything you have just written here. |

BlueRayDick: lol.
It doesn't matter whether Tinubu will be president for 4 years or president for life. What matters is if anybody feels aggrieved about anything they can approach the courts, court will listen to the lawyers of all parties, pass their judgment and all parties abide by the judgement at the end of the case. Since we know what the judgement will be at the end of the case, there's no point. That's where I stand. This reminds me of the conversation we had about spoilers in movies. If the outcome of an event is known, there's really nothing to look forward to. |

BlueRayDick: This did not answer my question.
PDP filed a suit which amounts to meddling in APC's internal affairs and they have it rightly dismissed. But here u are reporting it and making it about LP. How? Why? Shey na LP encourage PDP to file the suit ni abi na them fund the filing of the suit ? Make it make sense.
The election petition is another case entirely. I'm sure u know the only person who lost presidential election and didn't challenge the results in court since the advent of our young democracy was Jonathan in 2015 .
Are u saying LP should not have filled a petition challenging the results irrespective of the eventual outcome? The issue of double nomination is also part of LPs petition and like that of the PDP, it will be dismissed. . Does that answer your question? As for the bolded, exactly. And my argument has always been that it is a waste of time because there is only one outcome. Tinubu will be president for the next four years. Besides, many other parties were also either in court and have withdrawn or didn't bother to go at all. There's a reason for that. |

Let's not twist it. Card payment method can charge the rider double yet the driver won't even see shishi because his balance would have been counting -ve so he probably must have hustled backwards...lol Lol, the net is an overkill. I didn't want to bother with it. I seem to like their method. They only need one or two trips a day to meet their target. A taxi driver once told me he wakes up early, loads Choba to Eleme junction twice in the morning and twice in the evening and he's done for the day. Said transportation business is not meant to be done every day from morning till night or you'll risk burnout. Maybe that's why those men are able to last years and the average bolt driver quits in less than two years. |

nihilistjnr: I'm firmly pro-japa, but I have to say that Nigerians don't seem to understand how this system works.
Yes, it is legal immigration, but when you have a family of 7(5 kids, 2 parents) anchoring on a single university admission place for example, you cannot expect the country not to take notice.
It might have slipped the mind of some people, but the UK literally voted to leave the EU, primarily as a means to curb immigration from continental Europe.
At this point, I will like to point out that since 2018, the UK has had 3 Home Secretaries(responsible for managing immigration amongst other things), all of whom have been Indian. I would also like to point out that our Prime Minister is Indian, and although we don't have a first lady, if we did she would be Indian as well, as Rishi Sunak's wife is NOT a British Citizen.
So, the UK is not completely anti-immigration. I would argue that class and economic background underpin more of the discriminatory practices here than Race, and so the issue of immigration blockers isn't necessarily about Nigerians..... it's about the calibre of Nigerians coming here. The UK wants to poach 'the best and the brightest', not really future care workers. This nuance is often lost during conversations at the intersection of racial bias and immigration control - it's why I ALWAYS point to the Indians. These niggas are represented at the highest echelon of decision-making in this country.
The daughter of India's 3rd wealthiest tech billionaire lives in Number 10 downing street with an Indian passport. This point cannot be overstated. My view is that I support all japa artists provided they have a skillset in demand and resources to offer. If you're coming to do care work whilst bringing your wife, 4 kids, and mother-in-law, I still support you in principle, but I won't shed a tear if the bouncers don't let you in I also cannot overstate this other point - Keir Starmer, the current head of the centre-left Labour party, the party that black people vote for, the party that is typically pro-immigration....currently thinks the right-leaning Tory Party is TOO SOFT on immigration. That's additional nuance for this discussion. The bolded is where you lost me. From what I gathered, Brits do not like care work and family ties are not as strong in the UK as it is in say Nigeria. Someone has to do it. So if getting the immigration numbers up is what it takes to ensure the frail and elderly are taken care of, I'm not seeing anything wrong with it. Besides, these people are not entitled to any benefit and are not putting pressure on government resources, they and their dependants still work and pay tax like every other person. What exactly is the UK losing here? What am I missing? |

I was tired of throwing money at it and I just learnt to live with it. Couple of months later, I started having misfires. Coil and spark plug was changed. The misfire was not only resolved, it was the end of the idle vibration. You may want to look into your coils. Remove and clean them, do the same with the plugs. Ensure all the plugs are well tightened and see if it reduces the vibration. |
