25th of February was all about all about Peter Obi. Labour Party is a dead party |

He has been very very angry since he lost that senatorial bid Why do I see Wikes hand in this? Looks like something Wike will do. I have no problem with it anyway, they should all go and work for the money they've been eating. |

Infrastructure Buhari pass Jonathan. I don't need Google for this.
Social Investment Programme. Buhari pass am. I don't need Google for this.
Encouraging Local production. Buhari pass am.
Agricultural Revolution, Buhari pass am. About 13 million jobs was created because of that and so many industries sprang up unlike Jonathan that killed Local production.
Watin Jonathan pass Buhari for, make una talk.
Nigerians were enjoying subsidy on imported goods and they think it was all Jonathan. Never knew Jonathan was spending money recklessly instead of addressing that. We ate our money on one day without thinking about tomorrow. My brother, carry go |

monerozi5590: The question is did Buhari encourage Corruption unlike Jonathan that was directly involved in corruption. Like this below.
On September 22, 2011, Mrs. Okonjo Iweala said: “Those who usually go to see the President at night will no longer be allowed to do so. If they have any (waiver) proposal, it must be presented to the Economic Team.” Someone was given evidence of corruption, he didn't pursue it nor bring the culprit to book and you're asking if he encouraged corruption like Jonathan. How else do you encourage someone stealing if not by allowing him get away with it. |

While Najaatu mohammed was being interviewed on Arise or TVC, it was mentioned that there's a possibility the president is not aware of the stealing going on under him She said because she has a pass into the villa, she personally took evidence of 300bn stolen right under Buharis watch to him and that Buhari chose to look the other way. She said she knows people who were selling recharge card before Buhari came on board and are now billionaires. Oya explain it away |

BlueRayDick: As regards the principal sending out the pupil for using Peter Obi’s poster to wrap his textbook, I think both the parents of the pupil and the principal are wrong .
Going by the tweet I saw online allegedly by the parent of the child ; the parents appear to be fanatics and seem to delibrately used that particular poster wrap the books for reasons best known to them.
The principal on the other hand appears to be an partisan overzealous civil servant who thinks she’s doing her employers favors by stamping the authority of her political party in her work place . Unfortunately she played herself and her employers will most likely throw her under the bus . She could’ve asked the child to bring his parents and have a sit down talk with them in the dangers the Obi poster on the back of his book poses in this confusing times . But obvioulsy she would not do that as a big woman that she is ; probably level 16 or 17 officer in the civil service .
One thing is sure , all parties have learnt their lessons the hard way . It won't happen. It will blow over and will all be forgotten once Sanwo Olu wins. |

No way you can immediately get concept, design, review, prequalifcation, tender, review, award mobilisation, construction, and handover of a road in 3 months.

Though in the larger scheme of things it doesn't matter. This is the continuum governance is supposed to be. I hope it is a proper completion though, not some slapstick job for the cameras The best I've seen in Rivers state is 5-6 months. From flag off to commissioning. My initial guess was that if he did all that in 100 days , then maybe the road is a small one and not a long stretch of road that would’ve taken several months to complete Road wey dem flag off in 2013 was just completed in 2023. A 10.5km road took 10 years to complete and they had the nerve to celebrate and broadcast the commissioning Road wey e for just quietly open. Adeleke has no shame. |

DontBullshitMe: Supreme Court is not sacking anybody though.
We have had worse election in Nigeria starting from 1999 and the Supreme court didn't sack the sworn in President during those periods so why will now be different?
The 2007 elections was particularly flawed and the Supreme Court came close to cancelling the election in a 4-3 ruling. That's an election without an official results oh. So, why will the Supreme court sack any sitting President now especially for an election that is generally believed to be 80% accurate minus Rivers and Imo state?
But for the sake of optics and sustaining momentum, it makes sense to challenge election results but trust me nothing is coming out. When I look at the state by state breakdown of the election results, I don't see any outrageous number to warrant suspicion.
People should look at results from starting from 1999, we have had numerous states apart from Lagos and Kano producing 1m+ votes. Where did they get those numbers from? Of course, I know. Supreme court is definitely not sacking a sitting president. We all know going to court is a waste of time. If PDP thought they had a decent chance in court, they will not be doing aluta continua on the streets of Abuja. That was a hypothetical scenario |

Roland17: Until we build strong and independent institutions, a lot of the things Nigeria is trying to achieve as a nation will be subject to the interpretation of the government in power which is absolutely wrong and an abuse of power. Do you know the number of lower court judgements that are being disregarded by the State and Local government? How about government parastatals, ministries and private companies? This is a bigger issue and will require an accountable and selfless Senate/ House of reps to address. We have to start by sending competent representatives who have can actually check the excesses of the Executive arm of government not rubber stamp members of the house. You have just hit the nail on the head. However, I do not think the bolded will happen. Certainly not in my lifetime. Whoever you send to the senate as long as he's Nigerian is only going to join them to take his own share of the pie. |

I don't remember seeing many new cars on the road on those days either. Banks were the ones that mostly bought cars for their staff back then. Theflint1: E go likely be Kia, dat era people dey buy freshly made brand new Kia like it was nothing.
Nigeria has gotten progressively worse over the years, but I think the worst phase of the economic decline has come during this Buhari/APC era. A brand new Kia picanto in 2006/2007 was 900k-1m At the time, no one buys accidented cars from US. If you're buying a Tokunbo, it's coming with very low mileage and in a solid state. I remember the man I used to work with buying a 2003 pathfinder from US and the only time he visited a mechanic workshop in the three years I was with him was to fix an exhaust leakage. These days you buy a tokunbo car and start spending money on it from day one because dealers have to buy the very worst of them from US at a cheap price to make profit. |
