The one I witnessed yesterday at a filling station weak me.

An Okada man bought fuel 500 naira with the old 1k note, the attendant gave him the old 500 naira note and he rejected it. Las las he bought 1k fuel instead because the attendant refused to give him the new note as change.

Me that did transfer, I waited for over 30mins, money no reflect for their Fidelity bank. I went back home and came back 5hrs later and the money still never show. I had to do another one to one of their employee Palmpay before I could bought fuel. I have to go back there today if the money has reflected so I can collect my cash.

In my experience, changing the seals should give you roughly 3-5k miles before it starts again. The seals in our market don't last long.


So if you plan to keep the vehicle a long time, getting a good toks rack is the more sensible option. If not, change the seal.

Again, this is based on my experience. Yours may be completely different.

Despite working against GEJ in 2015, GEJ campaigned for him in 2019 and wholeheartedly supported him. The moment he lost, he completely forgot about GEJ and only remembered him in 2022 when it was time to contest again.

Many others like Wike and Kassim Afegbua who was one of his spokespersons also complained of the same treatment.

Even during campaigns, Wike does all the talking. He only started talking when opposition candidates were using it to mock him.

No Rivers politician has ever been able to play Godfather after their tenure. There is too much money and too many thugs available to the incoming Governor. Odili retired Ada-George, Amaechi retired Odili and Wike retired Amaechi

I guess Tinubu only managed to keep his godfatherism through the Alpha Beta contract.

The difference is that, Amaechi, Odili and Wike are all career politicians. SIM is a civil servant.

I look at SIM and I see someone who will be overrun by opposition parties if he does not have someone like Wike pulling the plug.

That guy just does not have it in him. I don't see him retiring Wike. If he tries it, he will be lucky to win his next election after 4 years.

I don't know about the rail. Some projects might not be for immediate concerns but for future growth potential. When Buhari was canceling Jakandes train in 1984, he probably thought whats the use of train for $100m when danfo bus can get there with 50K tfare

I don't know the terrain of PH but I believe some feasibility study must have been done and some issues addressed by this project before they signed and committed money into it. 54bn shouldn't just go to waste like that. I believe its better to complete it. The fare will make money, people will work there and have a job and the traffic on the road will be less

To show you how useless the project was, cabinet members at the time refused to approve the project. Amaechi had to dissolve them and reconstituted the cabinet after the project was awarded.

Everytime I pass that place and try to sample the opinion of people, what they always say is, what was Amaechi thinking?

This one was just a waste of money. Amaechi sinked 54bn into this thing that didn't get anywhere. It would have taken more than a trillion naira to complete it and for what? If this was meant to be a way out of the traffic situation along Aba road, Wike has solved it to a great extent with far less money. At the time it was even being built, I doubt bus was more than 200 naira from where it originated from to the proposed destination.

It has nothing to do with politics. Wike completed some other projects Amaechi left behind. He was right to have stopped this particular one.

It is too much. Luth and Lasuth are always overcrowded even what some people can get treatment for in the general hospital closer to them, they prefer to go to Luth. I know someone that refuses to use Ikorodu General Hospital and went all the way to Ikeja to use Lasuth, las las he went back to Ikorodu General Hospital when the crowd too much for ham.

I dont blame some people sha, Luth and Lasuth has the best specialists for most cases. When my wife was using Ikorodu general hospital before, their specialist consultant usually comes from Lasuth

Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with UCH. It's supposed to take some of the pressure off LUTH and Lasuth.

Myy friend was referred to LUTH from Lautech teaching hospital. I would have expected them to have referred him to UCH considering the proximity.

Most emergency cases from neighbouring states are always referred to LUTH.

Amaechi was Governor for 8 years. Why didn't he return it at the time?

Oil changes should have been sooner. The change to 2500 OCI has seemingly solved the problem.
