This Kaduna judgment is very similar to the one that returned Ahmed Lawan. Ignoring substantive issues to focus on technicalities

He must have honoured police invitation on his own. I don't think the police statement used the word arrest. They just said he was in custody

Something does not seem right. Even if the oil sells for $26 and it was bought when the rate was 700, no one will sell a fast moving product like mobil 1 at a loss in the name of promo. Not even when the exchange rate is now over a thousand. How exactly is he planning to restock?

The fact you've been using it without issues means nothing. Engines don't die overnight.

Scanning the code won't help you as well, you're only wasting your time. I have been told that empty gallons of Mobil 1 is in high demand.

I will rather buy 20w50 from a reputable mobil station and change the oil as frequently as I can than buy Mobil 1 that cost 20k.

Visaclick, in this job you’re going to face loving, caring complex, unpredictable, highly irritable and emotionally charged clients.
Equip yourself with creative problem-solving skills to come up with solutions, generate new ideas, find unlikely perspectives, and evaluate and produce effective solutions.

You need to always put in your best at all time. You don’t know who’s watching!

I’m currently on a 42 unit apartment project owned by one man who introduced himself to me as “highly irritable person.”

The goal of the project is to deliver a 42 unit apartment without compromises and within budget
and not to teach a grown-up man how to live his life.

Always focus on the ball!
I don't think anyone believes these stories any longer. You will have to change tactic

Have you gone to price this innoson car? This is the voodoo economics we keep talking about. Ban importation or increase import duties and make imported items very expensive. The alternatives that are locally made are even more expensive

Those vehicles can be extremely complex. Even dealerships outside the country with all the equipment, softwares and training sometimes can't fix them.

But like you said, there are several Benz shops all around. He definitely has options. Why he decided to leave it with him for 9 months, only him can say.

Tin-Can Island Command boss disclosed that many vehicles remained uncleared and abandoned in the port arising from the high exchange rates
I posted this in another thread. How is it that those in government can't just use common sense? They have not yet seen anything. They should come and take 1.9m from my pocket to clear a 20 year old car. Id1ots

Total madness.

Let me just try to make sense of what the government is doing. There are less than a thousand 04-08 foreign used Corollas across Nigeria available for sale on Jiji. This used to run into thousands before now.

Even though they have increased clearing, they are no longer making as much money because far less people are importing cars. The local ones are still not being bought because the prices are far beyond the average Nigerian.

What then is the point?

Reading through the post, I am almost certain the car is not a regular car. That mechanic may even be the best he has found. His options are limited.

If I am wrong and it's a regular car, then I can't make sense of his decision to leave it for 9 months.

That's exactly the guys point in the video. That he may not be creating buzz on social media like Dino and the likes, but he has his people behind him.

It's an actually interesting interview. If the power play in kogi politics is something that interests you, you may want to watch it.

The link provided is not working. i don't know who you are referring to.

Muri? Ododo? or Dino.

The situation in kogi state mirrors that of the national election held this year. The three major contestants come out of the three zones.

That Muri guy can be best described as Peter Obi of kogi state who, until few days to APC primary , decamped to SDP and riding on his ethnicity to gain popularity. Giving the fact that his zone is the most populous and also with highest LGs, he is expected to win in a free and fair election......

The election is technically between APC of Ododo and SDP of Muri.

DINO of PDP can leverage on recent tribunal victory for PDP in the state. PDP TECHNICALLY has 2 senators for now which, if stand, can help the party to pull some reasonable numbers and also help check rigging incase anybody wanna misbehave.

All in all, i don't see PDP WINNING sha. i might be wrong though.

The major advantages of APC is that, they control almost all HOAs, majority of REPs and all the SENATORS ( bar tribunal rulings) and the power of incumbency.... another important factor is the fact that while CENTRAL is locked for APC and reasonable numbers from east of MURI - giving his deputy is from there - None has his deputy from central.

in more clearer term.....

APC = Candidate (Central) deputy ( East).

PDP = candidate (West) deputy (East)

SDP = candidate (East) deputy (west).

You can see the EAST is technically screwed follow by West. Which is an advantage to APC and a factor against MURI too.

IN A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION, MURI WILL HAVE UPPER HAND BUT THIS IS NIGERIA!!!
His name is Leke Adelaide. The video not playing could be from your end. He seems to have a lot of grassroot support from what he's saying in the video.

Seeing as you didn't even mention his name, he may well be overrating himself. cheesy

He is a good candidate if not the best out of the rest but he lacks structure to win an election that has taken an ethnic dimension. He is from Kogi West same as Dino of PDP with 7LGs, then we have Ajaka who is from Kogi East with 9LGs and more population then, Ododo of APC from Kogi Central with 5LGs and power of incumbency.
The fight is still between APC and PDP and to some extent SDP.
He claims they have a better structure than PDP seeing as they did better than PDP in the last HOR elections.

He really does seem like a good candidate. A great loss to APC in the state.

Exactly. Obaseki would never have been able to control Philip.

This same Obaseki supported Atiku a northerner taking over from Buhari another Northerner

Where he suddenly draws the line is in Edo North and Edo Central.

How na? Some of those guys are never loyal. Sometimes there are unwritten rules you need to abide by. You have to be loyal to your boss.

Obaseki was the one that dragged him to PDP and they both ran on PDP platform when Obaseki left APC.

Oshiomhole is from Edo North, Obaseki is from Edo South. Now is the time of Edo Central. Simple. Not Edo North again. Shuaibu is from Edo North.

Shuaibu knows this rule already and he is saying he wants to contest.

Obaseki said for fairness sake, this is the turn of Edo Central. Nothing bad with that.

Read this from Oshiomhole.

Just last week, some young men visited a rural community in Rivers State and told them that the government is giving a grant of 200k to each member of that community. However, to confirm their account is functional, they have to deposit 200 naira into an account they gave them.

Both old and young people from this community trooped to the nearest bank to deposit this 200 naira. When they were warned by the bankers its an obvious scam, they said its just 200 naira and that life itself is a risk. grin

I was thinking the people from that community were the most foolish set of people I've seen this year but this guy actually beats them. cheesy
