Only if the electrician is aware there is a tracker in the vehicle.
Many stolen cars have been recovered because they had a tracker installed.
Not saying insurance isn't good or important but it's not a replacement for trackers.
Comprehensive insurance works well in d event car is accidented, damaged or vandalised, but in situations of stollen vehicle, u go explain tire before they replace it.
Trackers are also useful to monitor d drivers movement, so he doesn't come and tell u stories or even claim to be in Ikeja when they have gone to Calabar and back with ur car and still be complaining they no see work do.
Tracker is not waste of money.
Insurance will always pay when a vehicle is stolen. Whether you explain tire or not before they do is not relevant here. The bottom line is that they pay. If you have a system that is 99.9% useful in cases of theft, accidents, vandalisation or damages, why do you have to waste money on another system that is only useful in cases of theft? Even in those cases of theft, it's less than 20% effective.

The only fair point you have made is that you can use it to monitor your drivers but there's another way that does not cost one naira. Not 100% effective but it works. I can't put it here for obvious reasons.

Again, trackers are a waste of money.

Thanks Bro but I heard sometimes that thing is useless especially for professional thieves am thinking of doing insurance. I would prefer insurance than car tracker
For a car you want to put on the road, comprehensive insurance is a must. Trackers are a waste of money. Only thing it does is give you a feel good factor. Any brain dead electrician can disable it under 10 minutes.

Nothing like seems. Jackson is a far better player.

The problem with most people is, once a player goes injured for a while, they forget how horrible he was before the injury.

You are completely correct.

Sometimes I wonder whether policies are reviewed by economists and the implications thought out before implementation

Cars (and its related products and services [such as clearing]) are a luxury, so they have very significant price elasticity to demand. This means an increase in price will have a significant reduction in demand - this can be as much as a halving or even lesser in the demand. Pure economics!

Not even mentioning the multiplier negative effect this situation is now causing - clearing agents, economic activities at the port, parts sellers, mechanics, vulcanizers, filling stations, etc.

Our leaders really don't think things through
This is a brilliant angle. We have terrible leaders

.....you may wish to hear from PBAT's Lawyer on the matter. He clearly explains everything in details.

As Atiku himself said, fight will be over after Supreme Court Judgement - which definitely will be in favour of PBAT of course. LOL!

Atiku knows he is simply chasing shadow, Baba just wanna dabaru everything and it ain't gonna work. Public Opinion, Emotion never matter at the court, rather evidence [fact].

https://twitter.com/kc_journalist/status/1710174460353958054?t=SDvPvhv4UVE76k8jtiRi3A&s=19
You suppose give me my data that I spent watching this thing.

What the Lawyer is implying and claiming is that, you can request for as many diplomas as possible and that the one Tinubu gave to INEC was also gotten from the school because it has a lot of similarities with those issued around that time.

How come the school has no record of that application? How come the only record they have is for the one he didn't pick up. This explanation no follow at all.

I was discussing this last night too.

Like..This guy could have gone anytime from 2007 to 2022 to pick it up.

To make it worse, there is a video of the president saying he has collected his Originals at Chatham house. And i still ask, which Originals was that?

Which particular Original did he collect, when CSU is making it clear that Tinubu never came to collect the replacement he applied for?

What a country!
Even makes it worse. He knows he should have collected it, lied that he collected it but for reasons best known to him, didn't actually collect it.

Tinubu is a mysterious man. cheesy

Nigerians love Hero stories , Tinubu knows this and played it perfectly well to his advantage to achieve his life long dream in Aso Rock .

Maybe Tinubu funded NADECO when Abacha was all out to smoke them , but it has been established in recent times that Tinubu had funds traceable to drug mules domiciled in his accounts in the US which made the FBI confiscate the said sum .

Tinubu is no hero, he’s no better than Pablo Escobar who used part of his illegal proceeds from drug trade to help his people . But u know in a place like Africa and Latin America if such person uses his illegal money to finance rights group he automatically becomes the hero of the people irrespective of his shady source of income.

Those still defending and whitewashing his image after he had been exposed as a man of questionable character with questionable source of income are only doing so in order to save their pride after he admitted he forfeited funds traceable to drug cartels and his university can’t authenticate the certificate he submitted to INEC .

E no pass like that !
Or maybe they make a living from him. That's the only thing that makes sense.

APsh!t no try. It could have been anybody else. Even the "selling point" that he transformed Lagos is now turning out to be a ruse.

Questions will be raised by stupid people. You mean Dumbos who asked for WASSCE from Buhari even when he had military trainings in the US etc that are on the same level as acquiring a master's degree? Don't you see the ignoramuses that still make such crass jokes till today? The hordes of them are on this thread.

Intelligent people can whittle out fluff first and then zero in to plausible explanations. 1997 was a very precarious time for a NADECO-ist like Tinubu when Kudirat, Rewane etc had been assassinated by Sergeant Rogers that one had to be careful about potentially exposing ones residence. If Tinubu felt that way, he could be disincentivized from picking up his diploma.

That is why the real meat would have been did he claim Toronto when he schooled in Ogbomosho? Did he claim to be a 4pter when no honest institution would have conferred a participation certificate on him?

I don't need to bother my head in speculating when the school gan gan have verified that he went there and graduated from there.

Forget the man's checkered past. He worked for freaking ExxonMobil. I am not sure people know what it means to have worked for (Then Mobil) at the time that he did. You have to be better than Frank Abagnale Jr. to elude the background verification that they would have done on him at the time. Don't ask me how I know. LOL
So what happened in 2022 when he was filling the form he submitted to INEC

Remember there have been controversies around it since he was governor. All he had to do was pick it up and save us all this drama and embarrassment. The optics for us as a nation is not good.

Our guys for instance are all over upwork and fiverr trying to get jobs from people who have seen numerous headlines of our president being labelled a certificate forger.

Don't get bogged down by unintelligent people who like to strain at gnats and swallow camels. Let's assume he actually re-made the certificate: do you really think the appearance and design is what will be the nail on his coffin?

I once mentioned here that there is a concept called the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. What the judiciary aims to do is to interpret the law AKA explain the INTENT of the law. Like why the law was actually made. That is the spirit of the law.

So why is it a crime to forge a document? To deceive in other to gain an advantage. For e.g If I claim I got my MBA from Stanford rather than Lagos Business School, will I naturally not be able to command a higher salary than otherwise?

When Nigerians forge financial documents or Letters of recommendation to obtain visas or admissions into top schools the intent there was to present oneself at a level to gain an advantage.

One could have argued that an MBA is still an MBA but you and me know that certain colleges and institutions command higher attention A.K.A benefits so the intent is clear as to why anyone will claim they graduated from Stanford rather than LBS.

Now ask yourself what Tinubu had to gain by re-making a diploma in which he did not exaggerate his class of degree or grades neither did he claim to have graduated when he did not? What would be the intent? How was he going to gain an advantage by doing so? That is what the law will check.

Any other conversation people are having here is just a wanton waste of precious time. Same as the junk about going to secondary school or not. As mysterious as those are, they mean little to nothing in the grand scheme of things. It should even add to his credit that he could make something of himself by graduating cum laude from a good institution in the USA - without having the requisite background or training to do so.

That's what should matter.
I get this. I also know nothing will come out of it at the supreme court.

I'm just wondering why he didn't just pick a certificate he requested for and save us all the drama.

Can you make any sense of it? You went to school, graduated, had reasons to request for your certificate from the school, the school issued it, then you didn't pick it only for you to submit another that will always raise questions about it's integrity.
