Svlla: Easy pick for S300
EU should stop funding this war with their hypocrisy and is there any agreement with Russia to transfer Russia made planes to Ukraine?
I said it here earlier that the West is in a tearing race to re arm Ukraine and resupply it with military hardwares because of the effective demilitarisation of Ukraine and the elimination of almost all Ukraine military hardwares, including over 300 tanks and armored vehicles, 30+ aircrafts with most sitting duck, and 29+command centres, bringing to a total of 1211 military infrastructures destroyed by the Russia military.
Why the need to restock Ukraine if not wanting to prolong this conflict.
Well Russia still controls the Ukrainian airspace and is unbothered by some obsolete 2nd generation fighters. Your crying just begin. The EU has almost crossed the rubicon, when it does. There would be no dragging of feet. |

It seems Putin is under a spell. Convincing all Europe that he is a mortal danger to them all will only push those on the fence to the Ukrainian side.
He should go ask what happened to his much more powerful predecessor who threatened all of Europe. |

2. Yes, I condemned and will condemn all invasions regardless of who does it, USA included. |

Who are those many that predicted this and when was it predicted? They would have become billionaires if they are so good at prediction.
Only a myopic person will think this invasion has anything to do with NATO membership. If this were the case Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia would have been attacked first for being a member of NATO and directly bordering Russia.
Well, we can't expect much thinking from those who claim Russian imminent invasion warning was "western propaganda" in roughly a week ago.
Putin is following Hitlers script but only this time, nobody is begging him with peace yet. Perhaps Europe has learnt that emperors cannot be appeased. Peace at all cost is no peace at all. |

aribisala0: Working means they achieve their objective Not working does not mean having no effect
They have an effect on the sanctioned and the sanctioner but do they change the problem behaviour ? It is simplistic to think of sanction as an on or off button for behavioural change. Not even threats of invasion or actual invasion carry such power as Putin just learnt. Sanctions systematically inflicts pain on the target they may not be willing to endure for their initial goals. Sanctions help brought down the Apartheid government. Many military regimes have been forced to reorganize due to pressure from sanctions. Since sanctions are hardly lifted until the target effect some changes, then they mostly achieve their objectives. If collective economic sanctions were invented much earlier, we would have had fewer wars in human history. |
