gede7744:If you want to be respected online, give your younger ones your moniker and tell them to follow you and say "yes ma" whenever you make a post. Nonsense! To think an educated fellow made this type of comment makes me me wonder what Nigerians are being taught in school! ------- Besides internet connection is very poor in China, they throttle the heck out of bandwidth usage, you'd just get frustrated trying to watch a video online, and probably hit your PC, the same thing applies to North Korea on a larger scale. |
amnestylaw1:You're welcome. He's all grown up and handsome! Happy birthday to him in advance. |
I would be sincere in my analysis so read carefully. 1. Rule out the possibilities of watching/streamlining YouTube video if you don't reside in Lagos or Abuja.. You can always download and watch later. 2. If you reside in Lagos, to enjoy fast and reliable data package, you would subscribe to private ISP and not all these mobile network of a thing. 3. Internet is poor but not very expensive. You won't be spending up to $30/month for a quality internet service in Lagos/Abuja. 4. If you will be using your handheld device, you would have to subscribe to a mobile network package. Personally, I use MTN (They're reliable than others IMHO) 3GB for #2500 monthly plan, but it only works in the night, however they would give you a bonus 1.5GB data that can be used at any time of the day, the catch here is just that, they don't start deducting your Night plan data until you exhaust the bonus. 5. After exhausting my bonus, what I do is, buy another 1GB SME data, I use the SME data during the day and 3GB at night. In all I spend an average of #5000 on data monthly, so its not as expensive as what you have in Slovakia. Heck! You can as well get a complete SME data bundle of 10GB for #10000 per month and use your hand device as hotspot whenever you're to use your PC. PS: You're that man with the cute baby on YouTube right? Bathing him? |
euromilion:The problem with human race is our inability to accept the fact that we're ignorant of some certain issues. When did Nigeria became important on world affairs? Really? Voted Yes? Am tired of reading stuffs like this on Nairaland. Most comment reeks on ignorance. |
Mortiple:WTF? You obviously don't understand the writeup. |
The gullibility of Nigerians amaze me. |
Tell me what's bad about being rich and I will tell you why you're a good candidate for hell. #FirstPost 2015. #HappyNewYear. |
Am class '16 and I am really looking forward to it. Congratulations to you. |
I don't yell, in fact I find it disrespectful when you yell at me, even when you type in uppercase online. |
I know this may sound selfish, but I can't help but pray this oil crisis would last for the next two years, I pray the price drops to about $40 - $20 per barrel. I really do. I know it will be a hard time for us as a country, but then, there would be nothing to loot for our so called leader, and with that, they'd be forced to diversify our source of income or die in penury. Lord, please let it last for a while, until our leaders start using their head. |
airfinance:You're missing the point here. International politics is not all about what UK parliament think or agree upon. It's a game of screw my friend and I screw you back. As at today, the prospect of US - Nigeria relationship is much more higher than Nigeria - Palestine relationship. How many Nigeria international students are in Palestine? how many Nigerians migrate to Palestine on yearly basis? what's the percentage of business trade between Nigeria and Palestine? Who are Palestinian allies? France? If you know your politics as well as you claim you would understand how important it is for Nigeria to steer clear of anything that has to do with the eastern world generally. |
airfinance:With your comments, I find it difficult to believe you don't. It's really cold, so I can't type, hence I would have written an epistle on why Nigeria can't support Palestine. |
airfinance:Obviously, you don't see beyond your nose, and your favorite newspaper is Nigeria tribune. I wouldn't waste my time explaining how important it is for Nigeria to maintain her relationship with the united states. |
Nigeria politics is nothing but a game of words and blasphemy. |
Fiancee means somebody you're engaged to. It means you're about to get married. How on earth would you marry somebody that is cheating on you and not carrying your baby? You better start thinking with your brain and not your sexual organ. |
A larger percentage of Nairaland users don't understand a tad of international politics. So you expect Nigeria to align with Palestine (a struggling state) instead of United States? What do we stand to gain from Palestine? |
I hate reading opinions of uninformed people. You can't expect Nigeria to just say yes without considering the long term effect on her socioeconomic status.. You can't expect us to soil over hundred years of relationship with the United States, and align with Palestinian government. What do we stand to gain from Palestine? |
The best student in my department is totally withdrawn from the reality of life, all he does is studying. I literally forced him to create a Facebook account, he doesn't even have a smartphone, because he thinks, it's a distraction. Overtime, I have discovered that being sociable play a vital role in establishing long term connection, and a larger percentage of first class graduates are not sociable. All they do is study and study the more. So, yes! a socially retar...ded first class graduate can be jobless for years. |
Dr. Oyewo vowed that only the best student will have C in his course -- I can't sleep. |
Bitches be like "I woke up like this" After painting their face with coastal paint. |
An average Nigerian exercise more than necessary on daily basis. |
I wish you wrote something as lengthy as this before bagging a masters degree in Australia, it would have been a good show to compare your previous level of intelligence (If I may use that word) with your present state. Your grammar is perfect, excellent coherence and concise point with no tergiversation. An average MSc holder in Nigeria can't write a paragraph without an error of some sort. Am not blaming anybody, but the system; it's rotten and I see no reason why future leaders should be bred in this rotten institution of ours. If you want to add value to yourself, I strictly advise that you do all you can to study abroad, no matter how high the odds are, am damn sure it does worth it. |
The poorest of the two parties, often it's always the caller. |
mrsage:Yes, writing an article on this topic won't be a problem, however I may not be able to give a price quote at the moment, mainly because the price depends on the word count and technicality of the write up. I suggest we discuss about the task through email or BBM for detailed instruction and quotation. 52E6581B |
I am not voting Buhari nor GEJ come 2015. |
More like #10 reasons why you should stay single. There is no perfect partner, and that's what makes every relationship interesting. |
I think high school graduates are always too young to decide if medicine is what they really want to be committed to for the rest of their life. Hence, medicine shouldn't be a first degree, but rather a second degree. Developed country adopt the second degree system, because by then, student know the magnitude of what they're getting themselves into. In a country like Nigeria, the issue of job security comes first before satisfaction and happiness, it should however be in the other way round, because a sad doctor can't treat a happy patient successfully. #JustMy2Cent. |
Why would I think of obtaining a doctorate degree in Nigeria? It's either Canada or No PhD at all. |
henrimoto:Yes. |
