3. In deciding whether your husband will accompany u, I have these questions, is he a lawyer? What's the purpose of an accompanying person? Or is he just going for vacation? All these are the questions that the vo may ask. So ponder on the answers.

My own question. How does one register for the iba? I may want to go sef. Sounds like a great opportubity to widen my horizon. Did NBA give u any reference or Something?

@iyaaliyah, nope. we were not allowed to see d city at Kigali. we were in transit and were directed to where we sat waiting for d next plane to continue the journey. We only disembarked at Kigali while at Lusaka we remained in d plane, thereafter we took off.

The truth is that Buhari can only reduce corruption in Nigeria. He cannot completely eradicate it.
So any form of reduction of corruption either by selective trial,hypocracy, vendetta, witch hunt, politically motivated or personal interest is welcome. We should all support any reduction in corruption possible.

When you have 100 thieves, it is better to catch 5 thieves even if the remaining 95 go free than allowing the whole 100 thieves to go free.

When people shout about not trying Amaechi , fashola and tinubu as the basis to completely ignore other corrupt people, such call is not for the progress of Nigeria. Such call is not realistic. People making such calls are hypocrite and insincere.

" A leader who destroys those who are devoted to him does not inspire devotion". Buhari knows this. That is why he would not go after Amaechi, fashola or tinubu. That is why the bible told us despite all the attrocities of David, God still called David the man after his own heart. Because david is devoted to him. If God can do that, who is ordinary imperfect human being like Buhari to do otherwise.

You can only forgive a repentant thief or someone who believe in your course. In the bible, two thieves were lucky to be crucified at the same time with Jesus Christ. Only one of them Identify with righteousness of Jesus Christ. It was only that one that Jesus forgave. Is Jesus christ unjust by doing that? Saraki is an unrepentant thief like the second thief who was crucified with Jesus who refuse to change his path from darkness to light.

We must all support Buhari in the fight against corruption. It is for our own good.

Yes I get that but the deposit in your account is far more than your actual salary and so the source of that amount need to be supported with paper evidence. Your explanation did not convince the ECO and that is understandable.

Your husband needed to submit his business account, personal account(savings or current), tax certificate(that will determine the state of his business) and business registration papers

Did you submit any evidence to back the extra jobs you do? Writing abt it alone isn't enof, anyone can claim anything. The ECO needs tangible evidence.

My friend told me this, "UK visa application is easy. Anything you put down in the application form, include the document as evidence". Can't you see dey don't do interview much these days, so they decide based on what docs you submitted, dey won't even do u a favour of contacting you for further clarification.

If you say you are a student, show dem sch papers; if you are a biz owner, show d registered docs; if ur sponsor is ur parent, show pics and anything that dt can back up everything in ur application...... bla bla bla

You did not help your application by moving money around within your accounts with no reason.

When you don't have any other source of income apart from your salary then moving money into that account and used the same account for visa application is a bad idea.

What document did your husband submitted to support his application as a business owner?

as your husband is self-employed, you should have submitted along with the docs listed above invoices/receipts/contract docs of any work done/goods sold to evidence the 300k/income coming into his account. you didnt do that and thats why the ECO is not convinced that the company is actually trading and generating the income you've stated.

As always, i feel so sad to hear about refusals here but need little clarification.

1. Is N90,000 your actual salary or salary after loan deduction cos refusal letter states you earn N90,000, whats on your payslip?

YES. BUT 70K REFLECTS AND I SUPPORTED WITH A DOCUMENT -LOAN APPLICATION STATING WHY IT IS SHORT BY 20K.

2. You state the cost of this visit to you personally as 1,555 GBP Why, when you said you stated your husband is your sponsor. There is a part of the form that ask if anyone is paying for part of your trip and that's where you should have stated YES...Husband

MAYBE I MADE A MISTAKE HERE BUT I WAS QOATING WHAT WAS AVAILABLE FOR BOTH OF US AND YES I STATED IN ANOTHER PART OF THE FORM THAT MY SPONSOR IS MY HUSBAND. WE INCLUDED OUR HOTEL BOOKING AND MEAL COST,FLIGHT.
3. They are not expecting you not to run your account but frown at any huge deposit that's not in line with your earnings unless you have documented evidence/reason for deposit. This is because over time they discover people lodge money in their account for visa application. Did you prove any documents for the extra income you earn?

I AGREE WITH YOU AND I WAS CAREFUL ABOUT MONEY LOGDEMENT TOO.HOWEVER, I CLARIFIED ALL MONIES IN MY ACCOUNT. I am not sure He went to the tax office, cos if he truly went there, your response shouldn't be that found out that In some months preceeding, he didnt make profit while some months d profit slightly varies All we want to know is his monthly income..... Once the ECO sees your bank statements and tax clearance,They already know how much you earn monthly and for your info , It must correlate with what you have on your application form. Applying for a UK visa is like preparing for an examination... no orijo nor short cut, Study hard and Pass is the word.


Secondly... Why are you the one to organize and disburse money for a company's event Dont you have a department that's suppose to handle that? Always remember that the ECO ain't smiling at all, They want to refuse you, They know alot of Nigerian's lie too much so they are always ready for you. You can do nothing if they refuse you so always try to perfect everything before applying. Nevertheless. You can try your luck by explaining yourself on the additional info that's if you have any document to prove this + 100% luck is required...

Who stopped GEJ from probing his predecessor(s)? Which part of constitution outlined where you must start a probe and where it would come to an end? Even if he will probe others, don't you think it is better to start from the immediate where all documentation can be easily verified?

1. Its a must for Self Employed applicant to include his/her tax clearance certificate, Its an evidence that shows you truly earn the amount you stated in the application.... No shortcut.

2. To get the accurate amount you make in a month, Its advisable that you visit the nearest revenue office around you, Make sure you go there with your 6month bank statements and in 5 minutes you get your result. Meanwhile, The embassy also does have a department that evaluates your tax clearance to prove your cconfirm your income, However,If you earn about 120k monthly, Just be prepared to pay nothing less than 55-60k+ per yeAR as tax, No short cut at all.

Along with many people you have the facts wrong.
The visa officer wants to make SURE that you have enough money for your trip.
A bank statement can be faked or you could have borrowed the money just to boost your account.
A tax certificate only shows you income over a long period of time and that things are stable.
They don't care how much tax you pay! They only look at the strenght of your funds for the trip.
