Good morning. Please na, has anyone had cause to travel twice within 6months? Even when the first 6months you are stamped in has not expired? Is this an abuse of visa?

How long can I stay before I decided to travel, cos a friend told me it must be within one month (B1/B2) visa? What is your purpose of visit? What date did you intend to travel before now? It might not be the exact date you filled but use it for the reason you got the visa at least for this first trip.

But really, VO tells you ho ha, 'sorry, you are not qualified at this time' and you pick your passport and leave. The worst is you ask the VO why you are not qualified. Some will tell you and some won't. Maybe kaptainAfrica should add 'sorry' next time. Looooolll.

Whoever is not ready to read from page 0 to the end to me, should not get angry because people here refuse to answer your questions.

The answers here might seem 'harsh' yes but apart from being the reality of the totality of the issues, they make you want to think harder and rework things so you will do right by yourself.
I remember the way ladyguinuiver answered me the first time I asked question here. I was angry because my question was genuine. I didn't have any intention of not using the visa at that time contrary to the way she answered me but then, my intention was genuine that was why I asked before even scheduling interview of filling form but is it legal? Will it sound to the VO as real? Does it conform to their own standard cos at that time, it wnt be my own standard anymore but the standard of the country letting me in. In my anger, I still reworked my plans and suspended the other important trip and used my visa. I may not always agree with her but for some of us that appreciate being told the truth, no matter how harsh, I learnt from that her 'harshness'. So to you feeling the answers are harsh, why would they ask you to read from page 0 (why wnt you read in the first place) it is for your own good.

To the person who didn't use the visa and now pregnant. You have a lot of hurdle to cross at the Poe. Cos they will see what you were granted visa for and ask why you didn't use it then. TO THEM, it is might look like a deliberate misrepresentation (as I have read here, on US website etc) but the burden of proof now is on you.
And I also know when you apply for B category visa, you get B1/B2. Then at the POE, they ask you, what you are here for, conference/business etc you get B1 on your entry stamp n like that.
At the end of the day, if you show up with birthing purpose, especially when you never used for the purpose you got it for, you get extra scrutiny. All I will say is go try and be ready to answer questions at the poe.

At the end of the day, we are all right! We are different with our different features etc. Blunt (which comes out as rude attimes, or arrogant) shy, confident etc. You owe no one apology for being who you are. We are all RIGHT! The thing is whether a rude answer or not, let it spur you into action, let it make you reaccess and reevaluate yourself. You know your circumstances more than anyone here.
For people who are angry cos them ask you to read, 'you are doing yourself ' Lolll. So many successful transcripts here of people who only read and went for interview. They just read and evaluated themselves. (I know you no go read back to these transcripts)
Go read back please and stop being Lazy. Lolll.

what am saying is that when am interviewer looks at your paper , he see say you are not married , your age is lets say 25 -30
and you are not married , you your self look at that age bracket , that age is young , you can travel on b1/b2 visa , get there meet a lady marry , change your status , apply for immigrant visa using DS-260 .. NOW that right there is their fear if you are within that age bracket

This happens but singles get approved every single day. The determination is not only your marital status there are other factors that the VO looks at.

Now look at the same age bracket and now the person is married , automatically automatically ke? I will see this as your opinion and respect it.[/b]
you cant go through the process i just mentioned , if they give the visa and you get there and say you divorce your wife and marry another woman over there, believe me [b]99.9 huh

Now, show us how you arrived at this statistics because it is very WRONG. So it is just your neigbour or a friend or colleague that is that 1 % that scaled through?? I can tell you for free people that got their stay through this means. Even tho, I see it as deceitful and wrong. of those kind of cases usually get denied they dont even go through at the NVC. This your submission does not reflect the reality on ground at all. On this thread alone, calculate how many singles that have been granted visas. Them Boku. One even applied with 70/80k salary and she got it. Tell me, what tie she get??

Hello, husband bro is a lawyer and seriously considering going for LLM but want a situation where he can school and work . Definitely, his current job does not offer him that luxury. So , he is thinking of a school outside the country.
he applied to some schools few years back, did TOFLE but he had a few score to meet up with the cut off. he planned to write another but things happened along the line and he dropped it.

I got a two stop ticket and two airline, wondering if they would transfer my bag themselves but i called one ticket agent and he said they will.
i know it will be stressful sha but i will turn it into a cup of yogurt and enjoy it. lolllll

secondly, i got a cheaper ticket to another state and an earlier date (5 days earlier) to my conf but i will take a train to conf. venue, hope i wont be asked why i changed route. i simply did cos of a better ticket deal. dollar isnt smilling atm.

just go ahead then and hope for the best. The most important thing is to be able to convince the VO that your purpose is genuine. you can read back to learn from ple's transcript. Don't make it a do or die thing. it will help you greatly whatever the outcome is.

I was refused visa two months ago to attend a conference. I am a pastor, and I serve in a Baptist Church, lecturer in Bible seminary. Right now, I am thinking of applying for a vacation visa with my daughter.

Why not with my wife?

She will be in school, writing her final paper, and also she is pregnant.

I know the outcome of visa approval is not predictable, I just want your insight and your contribution, if you were the visa officer that would interview me that day.

hello my people. how are we? so i got my visa. Glory be to God. the kain preparation i made hennn, no be small matter.
here goes my transcript.

ME: Good morning Maam
VO: Straight face (whether she answered me or not not sure but i didnt see her part her lips. lolll) Passport please.
(I passed the passport to her almost abt the same time she asked for it)
VO: Why do you wanna travel to the United States.
Me: i am traveling to attend a conference
VO: (Flipping through my passport and checking only God knows what on the computer at the same time) what do you do?
ME: i am a xxxxxx and also a professional xxxxxxx
(i paused a bit as she looked up for the first time, i thought she wanted to ask a question)
ME: (Continues) and i am a member of xxxxxxx
vo: member of what?
ME: i repeated it.
VO typing furiously and later passed me my white paper!!!!!!
me: thanks very much.

I prepared like i was going to write a test. i arranged my documents (conference reports, evidence of payment, my registration letter, visa letter, my schedule during the conference and lectures/meetings i wd be attending etc) and had all other documents to support my reasons, well arranged, including my CV.(dont laugh pls.lolll)(tho i know say they don't really believe in documents but then) I made my hair, my make up on point. (lolll) with my ko ko ko shoe. lolll. went online and read visa interview questions etc

I thank God for rewarding my preparations and i say thanks to everyone who has posted their transcripts (positive and negative). I gained alot from you all. Love you all.

i have bn reading this section for close to 4 months before i even submitted my application online and book my interview. i must confess that reading everything here has been helpful. I told God that i am going to post my transcript.
i think God matters in US interview because i saw a single guy that has only been to Ghana that was given. he was goin on visiting. it is just God and proper filling of ur DS 160 form.
i was only asked 3 questions today n i was approved.
i didnt mind any CO because i believe God can only choose for one at that point in time.
Saw ppl approved n denied but didnt pay attention to anybody just waiting for my own turn.
