I believe the invitation is same as that proof of accommodation from my host.

1. salary account with 850k balance, petty account with 150k but constant inflow n outflow of money.
2. accommodation document from the host
3. letter from my office.
that's all.
Note pls that I have expired French visas and I never spent more than 3wks that I stated.
I submitted on the 19th June. picked up 12th July.

so I got my passport back with visa on Thursday, 12th July.i received sms on Wednesday evening. submission was June 19. That's exactly 15working days.

keep going there with amount less than $5000 and be dashing them your visa fee. i have never seen anyone that has good account balance like 20m that got denied for a visa .unless you declare excessive spending . i;e you have 20m in your account and you want to spend 19.5m for your trip out of it left with 500k . they will reject the application .

You don't even need the invitation letter in the first place. read some pages of this thread if you are a first applicant it will do you a lot of good.

Pls I have a question to ask, I noticed that a letter was omitted in my surname on the invitation letter sent to me (instead of Omisoore, it was written Omisore) and the last digit of my passport number is incorrect.
I want to ask, can it affect my interview? And can it be rectified before the day of interview? As the day of the interview is on sight.

No booking of date/appointment before submitting your visa application. Just head to VFS visa application centre to submit from Mon to Fri, 8am to 2pm.

Pls how did you go about your submission? Do they book dates now? The last time 3years I applied, it used to be very rough. I was there 3days befo I could submit.

planned duration of stay is how long you are staying in the Schengen area with france inclusive and planned days in France is the number of days you will use in France.
