I have never been denied a US Visa please. It's not about me but about how they treat Nigerians recently. Why can't they refund people's visa fees after refusal? They don't want you but they can collect your money - shameless fellows. It's called Advanced Fee Fraud (419) here in Nigeria. Collecting money for services not rendered. Thieves!

Thank you. Just did that now. Issue now is that start date of program must be within 60days. Mine is first week in January, within 12days. It doesn’t look like I am qualified.

You could put like 2-3 days to resumption date as stated on the i-20. Have you asked for extension?

Good for u. Fortunately, a lot of ple have benefited from a constructive criticism of ple s transcripts. Some are even advised to reapply immediately and they got their visas eventually. I feel if we are honest with the transcript we post, we get reasons for such denials. Sometimes, no reasons at allll.

Thanks. That is why I never agree with people on this forum who always tried to give a reason of a visa denial on the basis of a posted transcript.
The transcript is only one of many other factors that visa officers take into account to make a decision.
The transcript doesn't reveal if there is a red flag on the applicant's file nor a ban.

The difference in name affects nothing as long as the person can be identified. My surname is even different from my husband’ surname and I have never had issues. If it is to show you r married, You can take your wedding certificate if yu have any. @ujafam

are you travelling alone? are you married or single? what business are you into? how much will your hotel cost you? how much is flight? how many days are you spending? how good is your account inflow and ourflow? look at all these. flights now to paris is over 400k. go to hotels.com or bookings to have an idea of hotel prices. consider one with breakfast.

in my opinion, calculate your flight fare, accommodation, shopping and weigh it alongside your 2/3months salary or income cos you are supposed to have money left you r not expected to spend your entire savings for a trip. so your circumstances is what ypu should consider.
