izaray:She has already put to bed. There are Mamas here that have put up solutions to high prolactin. Just go through the thread. Wishing you bfp soon |
dbeauty:You did mention that you’ve done other tests and nothing else was seen. The pains you described seem really painful, I would suggest you seek a second opinion since your doc isn’t currently able to see why you’re still feeling the pains. Sorry dear. for now, you can take pain killers that are ttc friendly (any one know any of such brands?) |
@mummykyrti my dear I would prefer you take a prenatal that has a balanced mix of zinc and other minerals/vitamins as well as zinc rich foods. As for the supplement, try taking on a full stomach. Hang on, bfp loading How are we all doing mamas? Don’t give up hope, we shall all be mothers! |

happymummy:Thanks for the response |

Hello mamas, @Liftedhands happy birthday to your princesses, they’re too beautiful for words! @all I’ve come again to share something with you guys. I heard the news of a woman that decided to drive herself to the hospital while in labour but on the way, Baby started coming and she lost control of the car and had an accident. She died on the spot but the baby didn’t. Please and please, this is not the time to form superwoman. If you find yourself alone at the time of going into labour, if you can’t get a friend or neighbor to assist, call a cab instead. Let’s all try to stay safe. Wishing you all Hebrew births, everyone alive with plenty money, amen. |
dabexy:What is the threat to your life in the U.S? Are you originally American or a Nigerian that went to the U.S with a tourist visa now looking to cross into Canada? If your way isn’t legit, I don’t know if anyone can help you here. As far as I know, we are all legally migrated or migrating to Canada. Thanks |
damidamsel:Just a short response : you can travel with whatever amount you wish to travel with as long as you declare. Traveling with Over $10k cash is not a crime in Canada. You can also come with a part of it and leave the rest in your Nigerian usd account with an active atm card and/or Internet/mobile banking for transfers. A friend/family member of yours can also help transfer funds to you when you get here. Your choice |
sleekchic:Yes, to be eligible for government-funded fertility treatments, you must live in Ontario and have a valid Ontario health card. |
perky9358:Hello dear, you can try vit b6 during the first half of your cycle, don’t go beyond 100mg please. You could also try garlic. Swallow a fresh clove of garlic daily for about 5days or thereabout when youre approaching the big O. Lastly, you can use preseed, it’s sperm friendly. Good luck |
DatechMan:Lmao! Nice to know you’re close by. How are you enjoying the weather? |
Blackbuddy: |
Hi guys, Thankful for the last few days of warm weather here, seems it’s dropping back to negatives this afternoon though. Landed seniors in Ontario pls help. We just got our health cards and looking for a family doctor now. Does anyone know any good family doctor around Mississauga/brampton that’s accepting new patients? I’ve registered for health connect but thats not a guarantee hence this question. Thanks guys |
DatechMan:Loool let me give you scope! You can use Truecaller or better still, if you use fido(other networks should have this feature) there’s this add-on you can get on your plan that enables you see the caller ID of anyone that calles you. Their signature caller ID is S. DHALIWAL. There’s another company with the same MLM story with world financial group. It’s called Primerica. Don’t even bother wasting your time or money to go for any such intereviews. They will say ‘oh the last interview slot is tomorrow, you have to come in so you don’t miss this chance’ Next week, they will call you again with the same story smh |
Tripletwins222:Clomid dries up ewcm as well, some people use it with preseed. I would advise that you do not stop the bd though. |

Noo! $390 is still too pricey for G2 except you live in brampton. You should shop around and get a cheaper plan. Check with Desjarins insurance and look into suggestions others might have for you. Goodluck |
Happy new year! So this alfalfa you guys need more info on, you most likely won’t find it as leaves. It would be in tea, tincture, capsule form. There are many brands of alfalfa supplements. Fertility Benefits below : Alfalfa is a phytoestrogen, which would be helpful when estrogen is fluctuating (like it does in menopause) because phytoestrogens compete with estrogen for a spot at its receptors. The specific phytoestrogens contained in alfalfa are coumestans and isoflavones. This activity is helpful both when estrogen is high and when it is low. How can it be helpful in both situations? Because when estrogen is high, phytoestrogens that bind the receptors block the real estrogen from binding. When estrogen is low, phytoestrogens bind with enough potency to help boost activity, but not as much as real estrogen would. Alfalfa has other uses, such as for poor digestion and for high cholesterol. On the down side, though, it can aggravate lupus, and it can lead to changes in blood cell counts when eaten in excess. Also, pregnant women are advised to avoid or limit their dietary intake of alfalfa sprouts, mostly because alfalfa can carry listeria or salmonella. Phytoestrogens have a useful role in menopausal symptoms or PMS. Alleviating hot flashes by balancing estrogen and reducing PMS symptoms (such as breast tenderness and bloating) can be accomplished by eating foods with phytoestrogens, like flax and alfalfa sprouts. I wouldn't recommend eating a lot because they can cause depletion of essential minerals like calcium and magnesium. Due to its uses, i don’t think it’s advisable to take it throughout one’s cycle. You people should see what cold has caused. As the double digit negatives continue to harass us in Ontario, I had to do what I have never done before today. I brought out salad from the fridge so I can quickly have some and head out. Salad had small small snowlike ice all up inside. Fridge o, not freezer. I left it out for almost an hour to get to room temperature but it was still cold! How will I eat cold food inside this cold? I had no choice than to microwave the salad ![]() |
mommatriplets:Okay thank you very much dear |
Happy new year in advance mummies. |
maternal:Not only smell. Canada is big on being scent free as well. If your friend wore perfume that irritated the next person, they would most likely not want to sit next to him/her. I personally do not sit beside any person with strong scents anytime I have to take the public transit system. With the cold, if any person smells, they need Jesus honestly |

Hi guys, just to add to what others have said about religion. First of all, I’m a Christian. Not a church goer but a deep believer of Jesus. In Canada as well as other westernized countries, religion is not the way it is in Nigeria where everything is God God God! You have to be careful not to shove your religion(whatever it is) in people’s faces here. Of course you can talk about your religious organizations and let people know your beliefs if such discussion takes place but it’s not like Nigeria where you can say anything to anyone about your religion and its not offensive. My landlord/landlady are serious Christians as well and the first day we met, they brought up discussions about a nearby church and the society in a way to start small talk all to get to know our religion without being offensive! They never asked directly ‘what’s your religion?’ This is a country where it’s even illegal for an employer to ask if you’re married or ask of your age before or during recruitment process. This doesn’t in anyway mean you cannot express your faith and be thankful to God for things in your life. Infact, my experiences so far in Canada have been nothing short of a miracle. Details coming soon. |
curvilicious:Haa! Sorry Mama John. As I saw the advert just now, I was shocked! Said lemme come and tell preggy mamas |
Hello mummies, I just saw something on TV and decided to post it here. I saw an ad about a team of lawyers calling out for women that have used Johnson and Johnson talc powder and reacted to it to contact them for claims. Apparently, women have used this powder and come down with Ovarian cancer! Inspite of all the settlements this company has made in the U.S, they’re still selling it and they’ve been aware for over 3 decades that talc is linked with ovarian cancer. Please and please, don’t use this product on your body or for your babies. Someone help me post this on the newborn thread as well. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2017/08/21/health/johnson-and-johnson-talc-verdict/index.html stay safe guys |
Hello guys, wonderful job being done here. Pls I need some assistance. I’m sure it has been discussed here before so pls forgive my inability to find it. I would like to know the whole process for getting credential accessment for a Medical Doctor as well as exams/licensing to be done in Canada after landing in order to practice. I know the process is a bit different from other professions but I don’t have the specifics. Kindly assist with any information. Thank you |
What women go though, God help us. Reliablejay please take it easy, I know it can be devastating but very soon, you will be the one posing with your belly at 6 weeks! As other mamas have said, try to be steadfast in prayers now, save well, try getting a job so that if push comes to shove, you can move out. In the mean time, pray back your husband from that strange woman and tell your family. It is well with you! May we all have cause to celebrate our pregnancies soonest, amen |
